I am in the middle of transforming my yard into a dreamy, classic, slightly romantic memorial garden for my late husband, but for a fussy sea peninsula town in south coastal Massachusetts with cold winters and crazy winds on stormy days... so I have my work cut out for me, but I am inspired and I will get this done, for him, for myself, for his legacy. So lovely. Thank you. Spring is so refreshing. I have hundreds of spring bulbs myself, & after so many years, it's time to lift & divide them. It's mid July now, so hope to be ready by fall. My plan is to create some new beds using Hugelkultur to make use of lots of trimmed off & fallen branches, in a sloped back & front yard. You've given me some good ideas.

Especially during these times.... Our family had planned a “bucket list” trip to come see Moss Farms on May 1st. So sad that we can’t fly to Arkansas from NC. I definitely need different spaces and colour schemes, and uses for the yard. I just love the idea of garden rooms. i am not sure how far I will get this year with all the business's being closed until end of May/June, but I will try to make a go of it. Designing has always been my weakness. I have an excellent green thumb, but bad designer! The house I am in now, was lived in by a 93 year old widower. Basically the property was a blank slate, but I have redesigned it three times!
