I'm from over the border (Norfolk) and as a green party member I want Adrian as my MP.
If a vote is wasted its one for the green party,ingenious ,unpractical, expensive claims by LUCAS AND CO .IF EVERYONE WAS TO FOLLOW WHAT THESE LOT PREACH BUT DONT DO THE ECONOMY, THE NHS,THE WORLD WOULD END IN MASSIVE ANARCHY.
come come you are overstating this a bit. if we do not tackle climate change, for example, then the world really will be in a mess! And part of the path to tackling the climate emergency is to have a fairer, healthier society. And a lot of the time, measures to tackle climate change will also tackle the cost of living crisis, e.g. home insulation, and replacing inefficient and damaging fossil fuels with cheaper and less polluting renewables. @@colinwishbone4437
Providing we have Greens standing in Basildon/Pitsea, they will definitely get my vote.
I resigned my membership from the Labour Party/Red Tories and switched to the Green Party.

"Red Tories" is a great description. The past few years I've been seeing Labour shift unashamedly to the right, but the majority seemed to lap it up. Was wondering if people had their political radars permanently damaged. Nice to see some sane people left.
I did the same once it became clear that Sir Saintly Starmer the Kid Starver had displayed his intentions which made me question why didn't he just join the Conservative party, but I forgot that he is just a little lier.
The budget was the last straw, Labour simply criticising the Tories for having record taxes, but Labour know they cannot pay for public services without taxes so Labour is now a low tax low spending party either that or they'll repeat history and just bankrupt us again.@@TomNook.

Yes, because the Green Party did so much good for Brighton. Even the most radical and alternative city in the UK kicked the Green’s out of office due to their incabality and incompetence

I'm hoping for a Greens candidate in Pendle this time round
If you really care about wildlife and the landscape of Britain you should vote Reform and lower immigration. If you dont they will concrete every square inch to build council estates to house them.
@sootica-sidhe It's common sense what needs to be done to support the numbers in the future plus there has been 1.4 million homes built in the UK in the last 10 years so you don't have much of a point.

Yes, we definitely need the Green Party; Green council here in Brighton spent £75,00 of Council Tax payers money to bid for Brighton to become a ‘One People and Planet Biosphere Diversity City’.

Still feels a little tame to me. I've always been a Green supporter but if we want to make a impact and show other voters considering alternatives that we mean business, we need to get more radical. Historically, this is now lesser parties have become big time players with a real shot at making a difference
You're missing a huge opportunity.
Considering the relative strength of your media and messaging in the past I find it strange the Green Party is content with the current standard.
The next election will be your best chance to win votes, and make a difference, since 2015.

Maybe the Green party should join forces with Labour. It would combine clever MPs who all want a better standard of living for a country in world they both care about. Middle left outcome with a knowledge base and a sincerity to fight for all people near or far.
I wish for the day you might win. You sound like our only chance with labour being red tories nowadays :(
