The fact that the blaster has an internal magazine yet they also give you a stock that can house a mag in it literally defeats the whole purpose of the stock unless you have another blaster that uses mags (like the Echo or Stormcharge).
Getting this for the attachments. I see a Regulator stock, Modulus Stealth Ops kit barrel, and a Modulus Scope reskin, with a new fore grip barrel. I think this is real cool in my opinion for the attachments. Screw the Shadow reskin, but I'll take what I can get for that sacrifice, being stuck with it.
Ive actually found that the modulus shadow is really comfortable with the regulator stock on my own before I knew this was happening so this is pretty funny to me. One thing is for certain though, this thing is gonna be VERY cozy bc that stock worked perfectly on the shadow...
Looks like they didn't fix anything by Reskinning it in a pretty shade if of blue. At least you get some cool attachments for $20.00. All I see in the blaster is a source of springs, hardware, and relatively good quality plastic. Only if I had customer really into the form factor and I couldn't find a reasonable facsimulation somewhere else, would even consider a mod attempt on the blaster. Hasbro used a version of this 'dart-tossing-system' (definitely not a breech!) In Mandalorian disaster blaster/prop. Then, it was to undersized to be a good prop, unless you're 4'8", then guess...
Ya, unfortunately the performance is way under par, not even with the Shadow at all. Agreed, the attachments are a big bonus, although a Mag holding Stock for a blaster with an internal mag is pretty comical!
Got one for xmas. Thought it'd be good for playing with younger children, reduced capacity/fire rate/fps. I shimmed the stock with some thicker magazine paper. It feels good in hand, and is somewhat solid. But....I shot it a dozen times and now darts won't leave the magazine area when fired. Not great for something new.
Pretty sad they sold us a second blaster this year with just the muzzle break weve seen a ton of times, rather than maybe a recolored retaliator or heck even a longstrike barrel. The foregrip integrated barrel is very cool, and im happy to have a regulator stock (its probably the best stock nerf has made that isnt an integrated blaster) despite this one not having magazine usage. Also very happy about the modulus scope, glad to have a more midrange style optic to contrast with the eaglepoint scope. If only we could get a new or even just a repainted psuedo red dot, then id be way happy for optics. Also wish we could get a repainted bayonet.
It will be interesting to see what Nerf comes out with next year. Now that they’ve entered the Pro blaster scene. Appreciate your opinion, thanks for watching!
The core blaster is kinda succy but I would love to get my hands on those re paints and that barrel grip thingy They would go great with the wild edition blasters
got one myself, mine malfunctioned and doesn’t chamber the dart anymore, i’m thinking it’s a part of the catch when priming probably moved or dislodged causing the front chamber to not hold while primed. pretty sure this happens when you try shooting it too fast. probably exchanging it within the next few days…

The barrel is also on the Stormcharge, and for the price, definitely worth it for the attachments.
Actully the foregrip was only sold in a modulus package but only in Asia.

The grip is from the Ghost Ops Stability kit, which also includes a new folding stock. You can actually buy this still in some foreign countries.

It’s like $45 at my local TRU, honestly I might just get it for the attachments, especially the stock.
It’s the best stock Nerf has in my opinion.
Interesting how they put a stock with a magazine holder on a blaster that doesn't use external mags.
The attachments seem better for the Stormcharge.
Lots of cool accessories even if mostly recycled designs but that performance was disappointing.
