Wrong. It's the other way around. An f22s "stealth" ie radar cross section, is much smaller than the f35s.

The way I understand it is that modern aircraft are designed for stealth above all else, which has meant that at times, current aircraft don't always have the best performance when it comes to fast speeds, manoeuvrability nore are they ment to. They are designs to do things like sneak up and bomb radar and Sams sites so other aircrafts can bomb sights safely. Which is why stealth is more import which current fights or fighter bombers
So I would say they are built for a very specific purpose and very specific missions but what I wouldn't nessarily say they are thee best just because they are the newest.
Also compare to the previous generations of aircraft the F22 is like F15 which air superiority, were as the F35 is like Harrier, F/A 18 hornet or super hornet even so that is carrier defence, bomber, fighter maybe even attack aircraft but not sure that last one. So F22 is definitely made fore air superiority 35 is a bit of all rounder plus fills a lot of Naval roles. But if you ask me what is best stealth figher in my opinion at moment that is the F22.
But in saying there is pleanty of nations that are build ones of there own. I am personally curious about the one Japan is build although I don't munch about it as the F22 has actually been arround for a while now as the first protype was first made in 1990 so it not as new as people. think.
F22 is highly refined F35 is Jack all trades which means it probably ok or average or good but not exceptional at thoses I think the 1 exception that it would do well in is stealth and awareness of the battles field with the tech in the helmets. But I have heard that real life combat situation other jets including Russian jets, but that doesn't if they can't see it on radar or if they do but can't get a lock. But people forget that f117 was short down so it can happen.

F35s newer, with a much longer flight range. However, that dont cut ice when an older F22 Raptor can and will shot your new ass cow down. IMHO🎉

As missiles get faster and more technology soon your going to need a blackbird to out run them so it won’t matter if you have a $150,000,000 plane, it can be shot down with a single missile

Bro f-22 is stealthier then f-35 and f-35A is for the Air Force, f-35B is for the marine and the British Navy and the f-35C is for the Navy

First of all the AI voice is going to get your channel a hard block... and I am guessing you stole the content from a Reddit post and dumped in a few stock photos... or stolen photos.
Second is you know nothing of either jet. The F-22 is not really a "Air Superiority Fighter" it is what is called an interceptor. It is not really a jet you send out to do missions, but to go up an intercept a jet or bomber closing on a protected area. Speed is the essence. The F-22 has the speed advantage. The stealth capabilities and maneuverability makes little difference over the F-35.
Now I would say until recently if you placed the F-22 against the F-35 the F-35 would win. Why? Well first of all there is about 4x the number of F-35 than F-22, so you would not realistically see a 1 on 1 battle, it would be 10 against 2 and the F-22 would loose. Second is the computer and communication systems let it work FAR better with other assets. This is HUGE. They both have enough stealth so they would have to get within about 5-10 miles to be able to get a lock, but the F-35 could get low bandwith radar from a ground base or AWAX to know where the F-22 was first and with newer missiles like the AIM-260 fire and let the AIM-260 hunt down the F-22 as it gets closer. The F-35 has a more advanced radar with electronic warfare capabilities well beyond the F-22.
See the F-22 for some dumb reason was made to only be able to talk to other F-22. They are upgrading them though. This will include better radar and better communication systems. This will remove some of the advantages of the F-35. Why are they upgrading when they were planning to replace them with 6th generation fighters. Well there is no competition against 5th generation so there is no need for a 6th generation currently. Russia and China have failed to actually achieve a 5th generation fighter. They lack stealth, most of the advanced radar and communication systems, and they are lagging behind in weapons too. The US is between 20-30 year ahead of Russia and China still.
The other thing is the US builds and upgrades its aircraft to be able to defeat what these countries "claim" their aircraft are capable of. That is why the F-15 is so good. Russia lied about what its aircraft could do so the F-15 was decades beyond what Russia could make. Even their Su-35 can not take it on and likely not even their Su-57... and China's J-20 is junk. Neither is stealth and struggle to even be classified as low observable.
Also understand the F-22 is going to get harder to obtain parts for as they stopped production quite a long time ago. The F-35 will be in production likely for another 10 years and they are already on at least the 4th version. They have made significant upgrades already that are used for current production and will be slowly passed down as aircraft are maintenance as the aircraft is so modular.
One of the main upgrades is in the weapon bays. They typically hold an AIM-120 and a 2000 pound bomb (actually up to 2500, but the B model only holds 1500 pounds). They could swap out the bomb for a smaller missile, but the could only hold 1. Now they can hold 2. This means if they go anti air they could carry 6 AIM-120 or the new AIM-260 internally. They also have a stealth wingtip mount to place AIM-9X on external mounts with almost no effect to its stealth capabilities. This gives them the same payload as the F-22 in stealth mode.
The F-35 also has a longer range and Israel is working with the US to develop stealth drop tanks to extend the range even more. This lets Israel strike pretty much anywhere in Iran without the need for areal refueling. The F-35 has also gotten some new missiles that can be mounted externally like a very long range version of the SM-6 called the RIM-174 ERAM. There are also some cruise missiles going into production as well as the new AIM-260. They are also working on a Peregrine missile that is similar to the AIM-260, but half as long so they can fit 2 in place of an AIM-120. Estimates give it a range of 90-100km. There are also long range cruise missiles including anti ship versions with ranges of up to 1000km and they are working on even longer range versions.

@@toddabbott781 but it is still way less F-22 raptors than F-35s and the F-35 is sued for different missions. Air to air combat the F-22 is the dominant fighter.

@hugo-pg5tv You must understand that with the stealth capabilities these aircraft can still be detected, locked onto and fired at, just at shorter ranges. The F-35 can likely be detected from 13 miles and fired on at about 9 miles. The F-22 is likely more around 11 and 7. At the speeds they are going even in super cruise (Mach 1.5 and 1.3) they are going to close rapidly. If say it is 2 F-22 against 6 F-35. They might be able to take out 2 F-35, but the F-35s will detect the F-22s can get a lock and fire and if the F-22 tries to turn and run then their stealth is less. Either way the F-35 will get a return volley. What are the chances of either dodging? The F-22's will be facing far more missiles and have a lesser chance of surviving. They will get some missiles off first though.
Against any other aircraft, the F-22 and F-35 will detect, fire and leave the area long before they are detected let alone locked on. And if you are even thinking of talking about the F-16 or Eurofighter being able to beat it in combat. Those were training missions. They set up the scenarios to even the playing field heavily against the F-22 and F-35 to give the others a chance of winning and to give the F-22 and F-35 pilots better training. Nothing can touch them in a combat without restrictions.
Currently the J-20 and Su-57 have been detected at around 120-150km and the J-20 was even weapons locked near Taiwan at 90km. That did not make China happy. Their J-35 does not seem to be much better other than it is a smaller aircraft and likely can allow them to fit more on a carrier, but carry less payload internally.
