HIKING MT. BALDY | Bucket list hike! Over 10k feet of elevation

- I've been wanting to check Mt. Baldy off my list for soooo long so this adventure was epic! #3 on our SoCal Six Pack of Peaks training. This is probably my new favorite hike in SoCal. The views were absolutely stunning. I felt like I was in different countries at different parts of the trail. There are some super steep sections so I definitely recommend proper footwear and hiking poles! Also plan for lots of snacks. This is a shorter trail to get up to the summit, there are multiple others with more distance to cover but this one worked well with our training. As I mention in the video, here are the links to the trail and to my trail running shoes from Hoka:

im in Nashville Tn. I am so bored living here. I want to live there. I love that scenery.
Aw! I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve visited friends in Nashville before and had fun but I get what you mean, it’s a totally different scene. I hope you get to be somewhere you love soon!
goodness. I hike but nothing like this. it's on my bucket list for sure. how long did this take you
If you’re a hiker you will love this so much! Definitely requires a bit of training but is doable and sooooo beautiful. I think it took around 5 hours
Total quad burner!
Absolutely! Took me a while to recover from this one haha
@@EJAdventures lol I was much more sore from Baldy than Whitney!
@@WestShoreMan hahaha! Wow! I still want to do Whitney someday. Did you have an amazing experience there??
@@EJAdventures Yes! First time took 18 hours RT. I won the lotto to hike it again the last couple years but because of fires they closed Inyo the week prior to my hike day. I’ll try again next year. You should go for it!
@@WestShoreMan Aw dang! I hope you get to again next year! Thank you for sharing your experience 😊
The hike has 4000 feet of elevation climbing. The peak itself is about that
Awesome thanks for sharing! I pull my info from AllTrails.com
Heyyyy what trail did you take on the way down? Thinking of hiking here in a couple days
Hi! We did the Mount San Antonio and Mount Baldy Notch Trail.. highly recommend! Here is the link from AllTrails: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/mount-san-antonio-mount-baldy-notch-trail
Which summit did you do before this , to be able to hike this one ? You must have had to work up to this right?
Nice hiking landscape pretty girl
Thank you!
How long did it take?
I don’t remember exactly but it was between 6-7 hours with a solid lunch break at the summit and several short breaks throughout
It’s only 4k elevation hike
