ah i thought first one was gonna be Hoosiers with the sports and indiana buildup. maybe last year i started going thru those Hannibal movies again. Even Manhunter. And when all was said and done Silence of the Lambs was still the only one, to me, that was worth watching. The others were all forgettable or terrible. I just saw Ed Wood in NYC with the co-writer Larry Karazewski in attendance. It might be Tim Burton’s best movie. some cool stuff dude.
@@STEVEHEROLD thanks man. Yes, Silence is one of the best movies ever made. Manhunter is a great ‘80s Michael Man movie, Lecter was so underused. Ridley Scott did Hannibal and he made it a horror movie and Red Dragon was closer to the book that Manhunter was upon, but a little forgettable and Hopkins played it more like a horror movie. Hannibal Rising is by far the weakest in the franchise. Ed Wood was a great revisit.

I love 28 Weeks Later! Thank you for mentioning Robert Carlyle, so many people don't know who he is and they really should, he's a great actor that's done some great work. 🙂
Rudy!!! You know I'm a fan of that one. I preordered it as soon as it got announced. Somehow I haven't revisited to check out the Director's Cut yet. I heard that one of the new scenes was great. Might have to watch that this week. Notre Dame bye week seems like the perfect timing. I remember watching Hannibal Rising in the theatre. I think that's the only time I've seen it. Remember thinking it was decent. I have the Kino releases of the Anthony Hopkins ones. Where did you get the steelbook at? I need to revisit Ed Wood myself if I haven't already. Fan of Johnny Depp and remember that one being good. Never seen Day of the Dead. Get a good deal on 28 Weeks Later? Never see those for sale and know they go for a bit. Blazing Saddles was great from what I remember. Personally really disliked THX 1138. I kept my DVD for my collection at least for the time being. Heard good things on Eyes of Laura Mars. Mill Creek sent me their release. It recently got a Kino release. Same thing at least Mill Creek wise on Ghost of Mars. Might have to watch that in October just because. Didn't know there was a Indicator release of it. Great pickups and choices for September!
@@physicalmediaman yes, there are some things that I liked about the Rudy Director’s Cut and there were things that tarnished the movie a little. One of the things that I loved was that Mary (Greta Lind) from the Boosters had a much larger part in the story and she was the person whom wrote an article in the school newspaper that informed the students about Rudy’s story. The actress was from Goshen, Indiana and she married and divorced the writer of Rudy Angelo Pizzo. Yes, Day of the Dead is pretty gory and I found 28 Week Later for a reasonable price on eBay. Ed Wood was fun to revisit.
