This is actually genius. It's actually more effective than a rangefinder because it covers all the ranges wheras pins only cover 20,30,40 etc.

Why did you use the 13”? diameter size ball? The NBA regulation ball is max of 9.51” diameter. Is it possible to narrow the 20 yard baseline gap to a smaller width? Possibly creating a more accurate reference “v” width ? Instead of 13” use 10” or 9” which would make the “ kill zone” size smaller.

You absolutely can use a peep sight. If you've been using pin/peep, you get the same picture of your EZ V sight housing.
Personally been using this sight for over a year now. I could shoot 40+ yard heart shots consecutively with arrows touching on a shooter buck 3d target with 56 year old eyes. Game changer for hunting.

Dont use a peep, stop thinking about it so much, your brain will subcontiously map the trajectory.
Consistent form and lack of overthought will result in better overall performance.
BIG plus with no pins, most ppl lose their target panic.
