I’ve been looking for the ticks ,guess they fell off,In reality this is no different than using a full buckhorn sight,For us that grew up using iron sights it’s a no brainer.

Works just like a buckhorn sight on a rifle, Old folks who used iron sights know.

Finally installed the EZ-V today at my kitchen table before heading to the range. I started shooting with 3-pin sights, went to a 5-pin and hated it, then went to a single-pin. That was a lot better for my worsening eyesight, but I still had to concern myself with having enough light on the pin or sometimes there was too much and the pin glare didn't let me see the target very well. And of course, there was often 'target panic', especially during league shoots, trying to get that pin to stay on center, an impossible (and ill-advised) feat. Today I was going to take a chance on what EZ-V promised. Hey- if it didn't work out I could just put my Spot Hogg back on, right? For gauging which insert to use, I could have asked the pro staff at the range to put me on the chronometer, BUT I had a "cheat" available which was to use MFJJ's review for the EvaGen3, which included chronograph results for a 50# draw and 450 gr arrows. So far the selection of insert seems to be perfect. Followed the instructions for installation, including measuring the height to my 20-yd single pin from the arrow. What a great suggestion! I'm sure it saved me a lot of time up front! Went to the range, used a standard single-spot target and bracketed for the black rings, which are ~10". Started at 10' to make sure I was 'on the plate', made a few adjustments to elevation and windage and then, as I got nearer to having only elevation adjustments necessary, I went to 20 yds and shot a few groups. So far this sighting-in process has been easier than I was concerned about, and I am VERY IMPFRESSED by the fact that my groups are as tight (or better) than they were while using a single-pin sight. My target panic had been waning steadily but now it's practically gone. I am looking forward to completing the process and doing 30 and 40-yd sight-in out in the backyard later. Moreso, I am very much looking forward to hunting without having to use a rangefinder before a shot, NOT having to mess around with sight tapes, and having a completely clear sight picture. Great sight. I switched to one this past season and loved it. It may take a while to get used to it but once you do you’ll love it. It’s the perfect hunting sight.

I bought one a month ago and due to the winter I couldn't go out to sight it in and try it. I was real skeptical but it took 4 arrows and I was dead nuts. I'm a believer for sure. Can't wait to hunt with it

How do you know your center and not left or right off where you want the arrow to hit?

Trust in process it works. I used it to solve target panic and then did Shot IQ course and back to regular sights.

This only shows how big or small the deer is. Not how far away it is. I would not buy this sight. It is supposed to be like a range finder, but all deer have different shoulder sizes. Learn to know your yardages and use a proper pin sight.

Why did you use the 13”? diameter size ball? The NBA regulation ball is max of 9.51” diameter. Is it possible to narrow the 20 yard baseline gap to a smaller width? Possibly creating a more accurate reference “v” width ? Instead of 13” use 10” or 9” which would make the “ kill zone” size smaller.

So when I get home from work I’m going to try the pin match method!but that said ….I have a relatively new bow and the specs are 320 for the bear adapt I have …. could I just essentially grab the 320 fps insert

Going on 3years with this sight, have it on both my hunting bows. Shooting a bow with this system has made it more enjoyable ( no pin on spot anxiety) and rangefinding ( especially hunting ranges 50 and under) is instinctive ( the V just goes where it needs to! ) and when using the ticks at known range my groups are as tight as pins, best of both worlds! Also this sight is built like a tank. Winding down ( previous post) ? Please elaborate.

My Ezv sight arrived last week in UK tried it on my recurve even I slightly put it on wrong first shot was a bullseye, you can adapt it for a recurve.

I put my new EZ V on my bow yesterday afternoon. I'm 60 years old and have been shooting pins for 45 years. My eyes aren't what they use to be so one day while searching to see what was new in sights I ran across the EZ V. After studying on it a lot I decided to try it. I took a measurement on my old sights position and mounted the EZ. It only took 4 or five adjustments to get the windage dialed in, the elevation was correct, and I was blown away. In less than 40 shots I was shooting from 50 yards. I don't know how but I was out shooting my pin sights. I really believe there is something to the target panic. I shot again this afternoon and am already trying to ignore the marks on the sight. It way exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this sight to everyone. Only two rounds and I love it. So much simpler than sighting in pins. I was fortunate enough that the 280 ring came in it matched my bow.😊

building that sphere on live targets is the most difficult aspect. Shot low on far'ish elk. I think I'm framing too many ribs back. Then on a spike, I was paranoid and framed small and shot over.

I’ve had the sight for about 4 years now & iv killed 5 deer with it but I have missed & injured more than 5 deer with it. I can no longer risk a animals life on estimating, I have to know where I’m going to hit.

Can’t wait to get set up with the ez v for next season. It’ll be nice not having to pull the range finder out.

This is actually genius. It's actually more effective than a rangefinder because it covers all the ranges wheras pins only cover 20,30,40 etc.

Still thinking about trying one. I’m really intrigued by this thing. In one weird way it’s like having a circle ⭕️ on a lens where you can see the spot in the center of the circle of where you want to hit.

When I was sighting mine in 20 was perfect just like the picture u matched with the tic marks but my 30 yard mark is on but it’s not the same picture I got a half of white around the outside of the black target was wondering what that might be

I also don't see the glow rings anywhere only the tape, do you still produce them?

Aaron, do you really want to frame it as far forward as the image at .26 in the video shows? Seems like it's going to center punch the shoulder?
