Reminds me of a Turkish proverb. When a clown moves into the palace, the clown won’t become a king but the palace becomes a circus! Describes the situation of the US nowadays quite nicely.
@@kundrie464 it’s clowns all the way down. US elects presidents, governors, house reps, senators, statutory authority officials, state house, sheriff’s, judges, council officials, school principals. Heck if they could elect which cat crosses the road they would do that!
@chrisanderson3806 And i thought russia wounld't invade ukraine yet it happened. Now Trump are saying he wants to invade greenland who is an allied country.
@@Shadow_Played Everybody knew Russia would likely invade Ukraine! They annexed Crimea in 2014 and there wasn't a peep made about it. In late 2020 all signs were pointing to a Russian invasion, and lo and behold it happened. If you think the US is anything like Russia, then you are very ignorant. Greenland won't need to be invaded, but I do not doubt that the US is extremely interested in maintaining its security, that's only smart. We already protect Greenland and have a military base there. Denmark is not strong enough to protect it alone. Don't you think Russia may have its eyes on Greenland? I would be surprised if they didn't. If Greenland becomes independent it will certainly not be able to ensure its own security. It needs to be and will be protected by the US. Very simple.
It's actually not even funny. The ultra conservatives (politicians, and creationists), are specifically and openly trying to make education worse. They want less educated people, and many are buying into it.

Thats in the end how politics and religion work since hundreds of years. Normally religion is there for the bullshit storys but Trump can do that fine on his own. For sure he would also could have become a great american style super-rich prayer. Or what about Trump for Pope ? 😂🤣
Cause the average Amercian was doing so well financially the last few years contrary to Canadians and Europeans ... oh wait no they were in the same sh*tty *ss situation, a booming economy but the people didn't feel that at all, quite the contrary.
If you missed this … Asked on Quora: *"Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?"* An articulate and witty writer from England, *Nate White,* wrote the following faultless response, *sentiments shared by people around the world in general* … “A few things spring to mind. Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace; all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief. Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing. Not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility. For us, to lack humour is almost inhuman. But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is. His idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty. Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers. And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults, he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness. There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront. Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul. And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat. He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege. And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully. That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead. There are unspoken rules to this stuff, the Queensberry rules of basic decency, and he breaks them all. He punches downwards, which a gentleman should, would, could never do, and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless, and he kicks them when they are down. So the fact that a significant minority, perhaps a third, of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that: - Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are. - You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man. This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws, he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumps of hair and scream in anguish: ‘My God, what have I created?’ If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.”
The fact that someone like Trump was able to not only get elected but re-elected shows just how broken American politics is. The fact that the people are willing to stand for it and let it continue shows just how broken American society is.

Same with Musk it seams. They have and I say that without envy, huge capital behind them and still they crave attention and spew out lies to get it. And people fall for it over and over again and give them exactly that. Tells us more about our society than those individuals, does it not?
With Donald Trump, America chooses the authoritarian anti-democrat. Let that be a warning. How could the American citizen let that happen? It is a misunderstanding to think that American democracy only began to crumble with the rise of Donald Trump. Now the question is: can America withstand yet another attack on its foundations? The problem with the fall of a democracy is that it does not happen, like a downpour or storm, but unfolds, like climate change. Freedoms are not removed, they are restricted and eroded - until they erode. Fundamental rights are not abolished, they are undermined and trampled upon - until they become privileges. Truths are not banned, they are reviled and disputed - until everyone has their own truth. A democracy does not stumble, it slides. That's just what's happening in America.

Why don't you use your search engine to see what accomplishments the Trump administration achieved in his 4 years first time around. He did more in 4 than Obama did in 8. Stop being brainwashed and raise your own questions and then go find answers. You are old enough to think and stop being spoon fed. Plus you called him a fascist. Who is trying to dictate what you can say? What you read? What you think? What causes you should support? Who screams and demands you do all these things? The right or the far left? It's quite ironic that the anti fascists are actually today's biggest culprits.
Its very clear that US-politics has degraded to the point where US-citizens have less respect for the highest office in their country than we, as foreigners, do. We look at their president, and we treat him like a serious person and as such we take his words seriously, which causes us to be outraged at some of it. They look at their president, and he's a source of amusement first, and a serious person only second. So they just sit and laugh when he opens his mouth. All of it is one big "meme". This can only occur when the people have no respect at all for the institutions and become careless and indifferent. Which allows for opportunists to take control. Its crazy to see the US presidency erode like this.

In most countries, politicians are respectful towards each other. Opposite parties aren't like sworn enemies who are ready to kill each other. While I understand you laughing, it is concerning if that means that you think or feel that that is the way politics is supposed to be. It is not supposed to be entertainment. That is what films and soaps are for. Politics in a well run system are usually pretty boring. So you should hope for that, and cry when politicians act like entertainers. Here is the thing though. There is an excellent Polish channel who have recently begun including stories on Donald Trump - very recently, they usually cover European news - and they basically class him alongside Putin only not as funny. They are also hilariously sarcastic and Trump/US don't come out well. One channel ran a sort of unofficial poll and Trump tied with Putin as the most HATED man on the planet and it wasn't only Europeans answering either, there was a fair amount of people from the Americas and Australasia as well on there. Big difference is Putin IS intelligent, he IS well able to string more than a couple of words together - accepting the fact he lives in a fantasy world his speeches do actually make sense and he and and does speak fluently and his voice is more pleasant to listen to {I'd rather listen to Putin than Trump if it has to be of them], his English is better than Trumps as well and it isn't even his first language. For many to now be comparing the US to Ruzzia [thanks to threats of invasion to Mexico, Canada, Panama, Greenland/Denmark] is one heck of a fall in grace. Not sure you will ever recover on the international scene, electing him once was sort of forgivable and countries did forgive after some seriously hard work by President Biden, electing him again is something else again. Especially when you add in his comments, lies and deliberate misinformation regarding California and their current issues.

Though that compilation is funny, it also and mostly is frightening! Not only because that "Leader of the Free World" is totally bonkers, but because of the millions of people who voted for him! WHAT has our civilization come to???
it's funny that it's even considered "politics", when for European, it's just total nonsense or at least issues that have been dealt with decades ago..
Unhinged isn't really a word you would like to be able to describe a president with, but with Trump, there's no real way to argue against it. Some may argue that he is getting results, but from a european standpoint, many of those results don't sound desirable at all.
I watch the Meidas Touch channel, so I am over-Trumped already, but you can't avoid politics. By pointing out a lot of painful US situations you imply a lot of political mistakes. Sadly both parties are sold out to big money and there is no hope at all for people outside of that millionaire bubble. The only thing that could help is a real socialist party, alas the word "social" is the only thing that all Amercians are vaccinated against since birth. With Trump "at the helm" I can only say "thoughts and prayers".
Unfortunately I think that lobbyists have got hold of all sides. In my opinion similar in UK although it's rarely seen or talked about. To have more controls requires cross party agreements so ...I've been watching that channel too and democracy watch Bryan Tyler Cohen- just to get more of a look into the legal side of things too.. anyway.. in a few days I will brace myself for what's coming and I don't live in US...
I applaud you for jumping into this cesspit head first and am sure you will get a lot of flak for it but in the end, it is he who said those things and you just point them out via this video. I also do not understand people still follow him like cultists either out of desperation and or pure fanatism and belief in some of the words that he spew out. Never put your politicians (and celebrities for that matter) on a pedestal and glorify them as if they are the new coming of christ. They are just people like you and me and some of them are even more stupid but somehow get a lot more power than they should wield.

Not more easily than the French, Brits, Germans or Austrians but their electoral system puts the clowns at the helm
Sadly this is also happening more and more with political populism here in European countries right now…
If you missed this … Asked on Quora: *"Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?"* An articulate and witty writer from England, *Nate White,* wrote the following faultless response, *sentiments shared by people around the world in general* …
“A few things spring to mind.
So the fact that a significant minority, perhaps a third, of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:
- Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.
And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumps of hair and scream in anguish: ‘My God, what have I created?’
If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.”
Absolutely eloquently said and spot on
What a load of nonsense. Trump has a great sense of humour.
So well encapsulated!

In Denmark we call it the same…
In the Netherlands as well.

At least he understood and respected the political process as governor before he became President.
Everything is political, Ryan, including silence especially when you add a sentence alleging all politicians are liars, an intensely political statement. We despise America, not because Trump is a shitty and stupid person, but because, despite volumes of evidence to the contrary, you have twice chosen him as the best of you worthy of the Presidency.
I absolutely understand your desire to laugh. He's ignorant and ridiculous and, therefore, very entertaining. As a reality TV star those are appealing qualities, as leader of the free world it's terrifying.
I don't get the laughter @ all. What Trump is doing 2 ur country is scary esp 4 those that r marginalised.
In most countries, politicians are respectful towards each other. Opposite parties aren't like sworn enemies who are ready to kill each other. They can stand in the same room and be polite towards one another, even if they disagree. I've never seen a political debate (outside of the US) where the candidates just insult each other like a couple of 5 year olds arguing on the school playground.

Concerning being weird as a president: Ryan, you would definetly be a better president than Trump. You are not egomanic. You are self aware and you know your limitations. You would listen to different opinions and experts before deciding on important matters.
Even a dog, a pig or a maggot would be a better president. They couldn‘t do so much damage to the entire world
While I understand you laughing, it is concerning if that means that you think or feel that that is the way politics is supposed to be. It is not supposed to be entertainment. That is what films and soaps are for. Politics in a well run system are usually pretty boring. So you should hope for that, and cry when politicians act like entertainers. how many nuclear bombs is the country sitting on again whose next president will be this figure.... I stopped laughing a long time ago.

Big systems like that normally don't have batteries. So you will have to install your own battery at home.

You know what? Aussie here. We do not hate all Americans. My family have many very good American friends, I work with several here in my country. I have travelled America regularly and extensively and there are the same percentage of good or bad people as anywhere else in the world. What is extremely troubling to us (my family) is the current idiot you all keep electing and the disgusting disregard for any sort of social contract between each other. Universal care now! My best friend in America took his own life last year because he couldn’t afford the health care costs. We spent nearly $80k over the last few years trying to help him. But not enough. I spent last May (4 wks) in hospital in Sydney,( lobectomy) it cost me $500 total.
Fellow Aussie here. So sorry to hear that your friend saw no way out. All in all, our health care here is pretty good. Hubby had a total hip replacement last year. A $34K procedure cost us $750. I know we complain about things, but I can't imagine being a yank right now. Scary timers afoot.

Ryan my mind has been blown apart with the realisation that he is going to be President again. Move yourself and family to Australia 🇦🇺
It shows that people are very gullible. Trump just arranged the ceasefire in Gaza. No other world leader was able to do that. He will also end the war in the Ukraine. Trump actually support completely free speech he has never imprison journalists like they do in Britain, Russia and really most European countries. He is planning on making the government smaller, that means more freedom. Poland is still okay, but most countries in Europe have been turned into authoritarian block of countries. It sounds like you are really interested in politics. Watch Jimmy Dore to expand your knowledge, he is a real progressive leftwing American commentator, he really knows what is going on and he speaks the truth, which is rare these days. Watch many different sources from many different points of view, don't just listen to people with the same point of view.
Donald Trump does not bother me one bit. What does bother me is the majority of Americans who voted for him! No wonder he loves the uneducated.

it's funny that it's even considered "politics", when for European, it's just total nonsense or at least issues that have been dealt with decades ago..
Unhinged isn't really a word you would like to be able to describe a president with, but with Trump, there's no real way to argue against it. Some may argue that he is getting results, but from a european standpoint, many of those results don't sound desirable at all.
He never had any hinges in the first place.
He was sociopathic criminal with long record of criminal or ethically dubious behaviour for decades. There was no reason to elect him.
Some Europeans think Donald Trump will keep them in work for years, they're all comedians.
You're laughing at this man. He's so stupid and uninformed that he's dangerous. Downvoted.
