This is a wonderful composition. Yep, doesn't make a difference what guitar it is. Lovely pedal tones mixed with arps, and superfast picking. All the best bro. Good luck and God Bless.❤
Love the new track! Though what kind of recording software and stuff do you use for the mini, on-the-road studio?
If i use the presets on my positive Grit " Go" it Doesn't matter AT all what guitar i' m playing 😛..besides , you are a lucky guy to play on that stage , Hundrets of Player s play like u in small clubs all over the world ! Nothing special 😁
Beautiful song buddy
I enjoyed this. I am a musician , and I have a band and I get really nervous still before every time I play. It was comforting to see someone as amazing a guitarist as you are , are still human, and it’s so cool how you give back by addressing fellow musicians who may struggle w stage fright. After one song in I’m always good, that’s why I always make the first two songs the easiest to play. Haha my little secret. But seriously you helped me so much with this video. Thank you and good luck !
Bro you are one of the best. Im just so glad you are showing you skills here on yt cause I would probably never had found you otherwise
Bernth..everytime i see and hear you I have the utmost respect in your playing and your professionalism. Thanks for the knowledge you post!
You're a brilliant guitarist Bernth, and a lovely human being ❤
So glad this came up in my RUclips recommendations, this was so cool to see and he seems like such a great person as well. Love the behind the scenes and the song Calm is so relaxing as well! Well done! Hello from USA :)
Mike Rutherford of Genisis has been playing Squire Bullet strats on tour for a little while now. I guess he got stuck at a second home during COVID and had one laying around and ended up liking it.
Bernth doing what he does best! Congratulations! Thank you for all the classes as always.
These tour vlogs are always great!
Man Bernth is such a great dude.
I mean he’s obviously a top tier guitarist one of the best in the world in what he does. But I really appreciate how he always want to help people who struggle with his music.
0:38 "Innocent Radio listeners" made me crack up when not even a minute of the video is done, love it man keep it up😂❤
This reminds me of Thomas Raggi of Maneskin. He is a fantastic guitarist, and he often uses an old Squier on stage. It’s not the gear, it’s the player
Edit: haters gonna hate, Maneskin is terrific. Teatro D’ira Vol. 2 gonna be insane
From what I understand the big difference between normal priced/ cheap and very expensive instruments is more about how it feels to the player not so much how it sounds. Any reasonably crafted guitar for 300 dollars would sound very similar to a 3000 dollar guitar to a casual listener.
he was using an ibanez so it was already a pretty solid guitar
Also with a great amp
"Guitar Joda" Jack Pearson must hear on cheap Squier. Or Eva Vergilova with 150€ Epiphone...
I cannot agree with this more. My buddy, a *real*, paid, gigging musician makes my setup sound professional and amazing. It’s like “give me a rhythm guitar, and YOU play 😂
You’re a great storyteller. Thanks for sharing this!
Cheap guitars dont make much of a difference. Its much more important have good amps cabinets, speakers, or amp simulators than a good guitar.
Wooo, a portuguese fellow
Sound-wise i'd actually say you could be right, althought with bad pickups you're still gonna struggle, no matter thr amp. But cheap guitars also often have problems with tunig, string action, intonation and various other things that an amp or plugin cannot fix
@@leonsunu1209pickups don’t matter.
As far as sounds after today's DSP's etc. you may be right. However, most cheaper entry level guitars don't feel nearly the same across the board sweep, frets aren't polished, and so on.
...and guitar skills.
That was a super clean climax!! Thanks so much for such insights on beginners equipments ❤🎉
It really doesn't matter what the price of the instrument is or how much good quality it is of. Its ijust pure talent, dedication, skills and hard work which matters the most. And among all these qualities you posses all of them. Love you bro !! ❤
Sort of. The instrument itself does have to playable! But yeah, a lot of this stuff is about looks, finishes, matte chrome this and hand-selected that. I mostly see guitars & basses as utilitarian items. Pick one that's playable (good neck & fretwork) and has the pickups to give you the sound you want and that's 99% of it.

Bernth that Calm song.. Wow dude. Absolutely beautiful. Instantly brought a tear to my eyes. Been dealing with some bad depression past few days and that quelled alot of it. Much appreciation and love from TX, thank you for being an amazing musician and source of inspiration. Keep on being awesome and rock on brother 🤘❤️🔥
We are on the same boat friend. That song brought up the same reaction in me.
Hey,nice compliment. My mom used to ask me what's depression. I said it's the sadness you get when what you want doesn't happen. Hope that solves the tears part. 😊
It sounds like the band "Chon"
Stay safe out there and keep up the absolutely amaxing work, all your spunds are so incredible and you deserve all the success earned on your path!
Bernth, I love these videos so much! I did all your vids, but these 'behind the scenes' with some voice over vids are just that much more exciting for me. Thanks for sharing!
CALM BEFORE THE STORM is ABSOLUTELY beautiful...
I really wish more musicians showed this part of their lives. The pre-show routines, building shows, etc is fascinating.
I love how he was really trying for some unique shots with your camera… even the through-the-legs shot lol
He did his best 😂
Your guitar playing is amazing. What I love about your playing is that it’s always melodic. Even when you shred. Every note is purposeful 👍 . Considering your virtuosity, you seem humble. What I take away from you videos is that I should always warm up
More artists should do this often.
Man you have such a great attitude and approach to playing. I am constantly impressed by your technique…keep rocking brother !!
That was awesome, I can't imagine taking a stock basic guitar on stage without really knowing how that will go, it sounds fantastic great show.
My man doesn't drink. Absolutely icon.
I really liked how you shared the fact that you get nervous and also that you are mindfull about the "easy" parts of the songs/solos because I found that those can also be struggling when playing live. To see a highly technical and experienced guitar player talking about this was kinda relieving to me. Great video!
Awesome sound and awesome work! You deserve that type of performance and you do your best. Great result!
A great guitarist can truly make any guitar sing
Was feeling very low but the composition calm before the storm was amazing it really helped🙌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Thanks for listening, hope you're feeling better!
@@Bernthguitar Thank you for sharing the composition!!brilliant stuff!! Yes I'm feeling better Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is the first video I've seen of yours. Instant subscribe. I love your positive energy and I'm looking forward to more videos!
i love watching your videos and you are so talented i play guitar too and you help me a lot i am right now learning how to shred thank you so much without your help i wouldn't be able to do most of the techniques i have learned with your videos right now you've changed my life :)
Thanks for the awesome video. 😃👍
I love the song "Calm", it sounds like the second part of your song "What a broken heart sounds like", which I also loved.🤩
dude i have goose bumps listen the music, its kind very smooth and very relaxing. great song bro
I really love your new single "Calm" Keep on Rockin' Bro
When I first watched this channel it was below 100k subs but now your channel subs still growing.
i’ll have to see this it is amazing the decent quality you can get nowadays for $400, because back in my day lol (I was 13 in 1984)for $400 will get you a barely playable piece of plywood, that Ibanez just needs a set of graphite string trees and locking tuners to give it better tuning stability and you have a perfectly gigable guitar well done.
I'm glad it work well, but then again, that's to be expected from someone like you and your crew. "Calm" is an amazing track. I hope you show us more videos highlighting live performances like this one. Cheers
Bro I have terrible stage fright, but the idea of playing in a sold out arena gives me an incredible rush of adrenaline and euphoria.
It's cool how these bands tour for a couple weeks at a time. All you ever hear is like massive year long tours.
Wiedermal der Beweis, es liegt zu 95% am Künstler.
Top gespielt, Respekt!
OHT Original Himbeer Toni aus München 😎👌
It's not about what kind of guitar you used.. it's your gifted hands deliver the music from your inner soul..
The music comes from within. The skill is in the hands and mind. They are the true instrument.
It's not what you use, but the way that you use it 😊
You are now on my Spotify Lib. and I have to say, I like what I hear. Nice work.
It's never the camera, as every great photographer says.
You’ll find across almost all model brands that computer selection of woods and CNC manufacturing has enabled very good budget model guitars to be produced, which allows beginners to make progress at a much quicker rate that could be done before when you had to fight the instrument to play it
Congrats on your show Bernth 🎉
Your new song "Calm" is absolutely amazing!! I'm 60 years old and I don't say that about much new music today, just wish it was longer.
Great sounding solos as always!
Its great to see that its mostly never the equipment, it is the talent! Talent beats equipment :) Thanks for sharing this and great show!
Did the same about 6 years ago. Was being called out for great tone because of the 6k guitar I had that night. So the next night I told them all to come back. I went down bought a 150 dollar squire telecaster and did the show. Didn’t change anything was just a little rougher around the edges.
It's great ! Inam happy for you'!
... AND IT SOUNDED INCREDIBLE!
Awesome. very cool Vlog. Loving the behind the scenes footage. You sound amazing!
Amazing 🤩 loved it!!
There's an old saying: It's the poor musician who blames his instrument. This is the corollary to that. A good musician can play on anything.
This video is great. Cheap, or expensive I don't think it really matters when it comes to guitars as long as you have a good sound that's in tuned. Amplifiers, cabinets, and especially speakers are the most important things you should be worried about. Again well done. 👍
Good for you, Bernth. Nice friendship and sober, yes me too. Great video.
5:38 time marked I love it!! Man glad how Bernth showed everything
Amazing !!
The tone is in the hands. My $2,000 Les Paul sounds WAY better in my hands than my $200 Warlock. But I have friends who make my $200 Warlock sound much better than me playing my Les Paul.
Bernth, you can make rubber bands glued to a twig sound better than me and my Les Paul. You are a maestro of your craft!
Sweet tune!! I feel so calm now 🤘🔥
Budget Ibanez and Yamaha hss “strats” are great. I still have Yamaha Pacifica 311. I put in the SD’s the 611 had and an Evertune. Love it!
in every pop crowd there is one RnR Somelier that admires your work ;)
awesome vid thanks for all the guitar help over the years
i wish there were more of these mini arenas in the US, you either get a huge 3 tier arena, or a small club.
I had someone I knew growing up in the 80s/90's and he had this Peavey guitar that had a case with an AMP and SPEAKER in it. You could play it and what not. Well, the neck kind of moved side to side like the screws were lose. But then some jazz guy from my uncle came in and absolutely domininated that guitar. He was shredding it. It was not an expensive guitar at all. Not at that time anyway. I still think about it. I don't own any fancy guitars, I have an ibanez roadstar II series from 1984, a fender squire from indonesia, and a few others. I enjoy them all often. They sound great.
Also, some Rage Against the Machine? Sounded so bizarre but took me a while to realize the sections.
sounded great!!!
Great player always know how to make everything possible
I just discovered your Calm song.... ohoohooo WOW !!! It's short but what a song ! I'm not into shredding/tapping but I will definitely try to play this one, there is plenty of exercises to practice for me there and it's so, so beautiful. What a great way to get out of my comfort zone :)
Is there an official tab to get/buy somewhere ?
Yeah!
mad respect to yall
love this guy!
Nice video Bernth! We are waiting for the "calm" tab to show up on songsterr.Keep it up!🤘
Sounds Great! I'm new to your channel, great guitar work!
Wow, a wizard on the fretboard! 😮
So you got a new fan! I love your playing and your way of taking us with you in this experience. Very honest, very real!
Oida, krankes Show!
I'm diving into Austro-pop lately (studying in Austria requires some knowledge of the context) and can't decide between Seiler und Speer and Alle Achtung! - but I guess I don't have to choose between you at all XD
That guitar is super underrated. One of my favorites.
🤘 I have that beginner Ibanez but it doesn't sound like that!🤣
Awesome perspective from on stage.
Love the Archetype Shirt
Great guitarist and cool guy. Thank You Bernth.
Bernth is awesome, that said, Ibanez likely sent the very best “cheapest” guitar they had -as is standard practice with sponsored influencers/musicians. And as guitar players are slowly learning, 80% of tone is in the cab/speaker, guitar and pickups don’t affect the tone nearly as much as the speaker/mic combo.
Currently trying to turn an old squire that my grandpa used to own (he wasn’t a fan of strats) that he gave to my brother who abused it and let it get horribly bad. I plan to put a Floyd and some other things into it when I can afford it :(
I've bought several guitars. What I have learned is: Even a relative cheap Ibanez is well produced and could be used for concerts.
I love this part It’s just FIRE
4:51
Thanks for this video
Sweet jams bro 😎
Great video and cool idea! ❤
Who said metalheads are crazy?
This guy changes a lot of that
Shurely you were also protected by Heisenberg's aura during the concert!
i didnt know you even toured here in austria :') so sad i missed it
We are working on the next tour, dates TBA soon 🤘
I hope i see a harley benton guitar fusion in your next performance🤘🏼
I played for years with sub-$400 Kramer's with my favorite parts in them. From Vegas to a cruise ship and resorts. Nobody ever cared and I felt good doing it.
Hab ja genau die Gitarre von dir in Köln bekommen 😊 vielleicht werde ich die auch in Zukunft mal live nutzen
I love this!!!!
7:25 is it me or it reminds of killing in the name
That was sick.
Amazing.. I love this.. makes me want to play guitar differently lol
awesome.. amazing guitar played.....
Proof positive that the gear counts so much less than the talent of the player. That 'cheap' guitar has a really nice warm sound and wonderful ring to it. There are many stories of famous artists who use basic cheap instruments in studio and even live.
You possess incredible talent. Great performance!
