At 9 weeks the kittens are old enough to be separated from their mom. You did your best to keep them around this long. I’m glad Riley’s better. Lea Ann’s funny too! 😂❤️

Miss Kitty is just teaching the kittens how to be feral. There's still time to catch them and domesticate them if they're kept strictly inside for awhile. You've done an excellent job with getting them accustomed to human contact and that will help them a lot in the long run.
I am afraid to think that some animal caught them and they are history.

My feral cat adoptee, "Peanut", was a young mom with kittens born in the grasses behind our home. She brought them out to me when I prepared a high sided box for her. When they were 6 - 10 weeks, she taught them to hunt, then eventually they were off to new homes. We finally had her fixed and she stayed inside with our little son watching her. She learned to appreciate time in the house, but was inside/outside for years then. She loved our son singing and reading to her. Cats can adapt some, while kittens adapt more quickly. She play trained the kittens to hunt by leaving a mostly cleaned animal skin for them to duck under and chase around with. It lasted several days with the group of them practicing their skills.

I just want to say I love every video you make from start to finish, they’re beautiful. The love you show to each other and every animal on your farm is precious. The chit chat at the end is great. It makes me feel like part of your family. It’s like sitting on the porch with you. I think your kittens will be fine. Momma has to teach them to hunt and defend themselves. It’s all part of a feral cats life. Don’t beat yourselves up, you did what you could to keep them save and healthy until momma decided it was time time for them to learn to take care of themselves. You did nothing wrong in my opinion. If you want kitten to stay around they have to have interaction with humans from a very young age. We handled our kittens the day they were born. Oddly enough our cat had her kittens between my husband and I on our bed. It was her first and only litter. Momma was a semi feral cat, which means she was an indoor/outdoor cat. Her kittens were the same way, but her and her three kittens came in the house for their cuddles and loving. She was a great mom to those babies however, when momma thought they were too old to nurse, she stopped nursing them and wanted nothing to do with them. She would hiss and hit if anyone of them came near her. It was the oddest thing I’ve ever experienced. I’ve seen many kittens be born, but I’ve never seen a cat just turn on them like that. I just wanted to share this with you, to tell you about my experience. Keep up the great work you two do. I love all you videos.

Just wanted to say Thank You to everybody for the prayers for my dog Beaner, unfortunately God needed her for something special. we couldn't get her to eat so not able to give her any insulin. Her regular vet gave her a steroid injection to help her breathing and thought she would improve after that. Also gave her an antibiotic to get rid of infection(because she was running a fever). He didn't think she was serious enough to be put to sleep and sent her home on Friday. The poor stubborn girl tried so hard to fight but for some reason eating was an issue. Sadly at 7:50 this morning(Sunday) we held her and petted her while she took her last breath. We loved our girl so much and her little sister Bella is so confused and unsure why her sister isn't around. Thanks to anyone and everyone that said a little prayer for our little girl.
So sorry for your loss. It's a hard adjustment for all that were involved in that pet's life. You will be in my prayers.

Mama cat wanted to introduce her little kitties to their new swell life on the farm, with her beloved grandpa. There is nothing necessarily bad that Miss Kitty is trying to do, only being a feline with her new babies, wanting to teach them the basics. :) I'm sure she is aware of where each one is and takes the new raw foods to them to get used to... Keep Heart, Grandpa.

Not boring! I’d fix the momma cat and rehome her. She won’t change. I lost my indoor cat at age 13. I still miss him 8 years later!
You need to give some of those extra chickens to Kyle and Shannon so they can help the baby turkeys and Guineas eat the Ticks and other bugs. Plus they can eat the eggs to.
I know they are not ready for chickens, but if they can free range, they need help with ticks now! their new birds have to grow up yet.

Grandpa, you can use PVC tubing. It's flexible and you can make like an arch over the top of the pens. And it's light weight and easy to drill through it too
Grandpa and Grandma, I love the wormy dance, especially since you showed the little boys doing it with you. As a former Preschool Director, I relish the joys of watching these little ones. Also, I appreciate all the participation from Grandma…and when she does the rockin’ talk time, I glue myself to the iPad. I watch the entire video you always give…I never fast forward. People need to get a life if they don’t like your episodes. Poor kitty and her escapades. Those little kittens are probably gone for life🥴. I love all of Adler Farms episodes and you folks. She's semi domesticated, a truly feral cat wouldn't let a human within 5 feet of them... never mind touched.
I stayed till the end!! Can’t always but sure love when I can!!! Every time I see your apron on it reminds me of my youngest son…my hubby is a goldsmith and jeweler, so we had plans to pick him up for lunch when our son was about 4 years old. Gabe asked if daddy was gonna take his dress off to go to lunch, which was his leather apron😂 he’s a Marine now in the infantry, but I always see his worried little face when Grandpa brings out his apron❤

I absolutely love when the 2 of you do Rock & talk & I miss it when you don't. Having animals is like having babies who can't tell you when they are sick or what happened that they got hurt. So glad Riley is getting better & I pray she continues. It's a shame about the kittens being gone. My great aunt had a lot of barn cats on the farm but only one was allowed in the house. She got to be pretty old & she started getting rid of kittens when she didn't want to take care of them ..Guess it's just nature that it happens. People who farm & have animals for generations don't treat them as people like we do. They treat them good but allow for nature of the animal to be their guide. Cats would sometimes sleep in cars & trucks when it was cold in the country. I learned to beat on the hood of them before starting or moving.

I watch all of it to the end cause I don't want to miss anything. 😂 Those kittens might be back eventually when they get hungry. They know where food is and they've been around in the woods enough to know how to get back. If you get mamma spayed, she might settle down and not want to roam as much. If they don't come back, you know you did everything you could. It hurts when you get attached to an animal and then lose them, but it happens. I pray they find their way back soon.

You've done everything possible for the Cats. They are Ferral and live in the wild and can't be changed. You have loved them and protected them. God Bless! ✌️
I'm glad to learn that Riley is going to be ok. It is almost verbatim to what happened here at our house to my daughter's puppy, Wiley (6mo). Kelsey (my 22yo daughter) works at a dog boarding, training, daycare facility. She's a trainer/handler there. Once in a while, she'll take Wiley with her so she can get her wiggles out, play with other dogs, socialize, etc. Well at one point near the end of the day, Kels noticed that Wiley was favouring her front left leg. She did the usual - checked her paws for thorns/stings/bug bites, etc. and saw nothing. By the next day, Wiley was hardly putting any weight on it and her wrist was quite swollen.
She took her to the vet and they said and did the same. That she likely sprained her wrist joint, gave her pain meds and an anti-inflammatory, ordered her on "bed rest" and that if she wasn't improved by next week, they'll X-ray and do further examination. Now, I don't know if anyone else knows just how hard it is to put a happy, bouncy puppy on 'bed rest" is, but it's not easy, haha!!! Wiley is now putting weight on her foot and when she has the pain meds on board, she's her same happy, bouncy self. Problem is, she's not supposed to! Haha. We have a pen from when our old boy had his surgeries so she's been putting her in there when she''s not home, etc. I'm just glad it is her front leg, which is far better as far as using it goes. Their back legs are what they stand up on, jump with, push off into run, etc. so being a front leg in my opinion is easier.

I watch all the way through all the time. Sometimes I paws 🐾 then get back to it later. Try not to fall over the tap when You do your dance, you almost did this time.
