Elaine, your wealth of treasure is massive & the way you share it, with us...your grateful audience is a massive gift. Bless you dear, thank you sooo so MUCH
Was there, in the 12th row of that beloved, long-lost theater. The photo is totally period-correct. What a show! Saw the Bob Weir band the night before, in Providence.
@@eletricnaneland352 fabulous job. Love it. My buddy who I attended with got a b & w shot of him that night. That's how I remember. LOL. Thanks for posting this.
This is a perfect setlist for a JGB show in my opinion. It really has the vibe and purity that defines this band. Jerry is in his finest form, playing whatever He wants. Thank you, this is medicine music.
This is so tasty. Keith is in TOP form from the first note and he has them all riding his wave, stepping right up. A great JGB tour and a real kind audience tape of this sleeper show. Nice score, Elaine.
@@eletricnaneland352 It sounds to me like the taper's mic must have been positioned square in front of Keith's monitor, and that's what puts the piano so forward in the mix. And since Keith is so thoroughly ON for this show, that worked out great.
There is a great radio interview from the day of the show featuring everyone in the band except Keith. The interviewer is way out of his league and Jerry and Kahn try to make him even more awkward, yet charmingly try to help the guy out at the same time. Well worth trying to find, plus you get to hear them all snorting away some of that killer blow that rich Rhode Islanders loved to do.
Thanks Elaine!!!
Thanks Elaine!
