Nice reaction Daz. The drummer in this video is Dmitry Kim, dude isn't just good, he's fantastic, just my opinion. Of course so is Vlad, but if you wanna see how incredible Dmitry is, watch his drum playthrough of "Captain Clock" it's frickin insane. Anyhow keep up the great reactions bro, and of course stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

regarding Tati's hair...this is after she cut her dreads. Somewhere in between the "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" video and "Pisces". Shortly after Pisces she get's the rest of her left arm and neck done. And then you saw her with long hair at Wacken for "Perennial".

I’d love to see you react to Retrospection (I think it’s in Kiev, it’s their official video, but it’s fantastic and gives some behind the scenes footage of the band), and Cloud Factory - official video. You’ve been fantastic to watch as you explore Jinjer, and your insights into the music are greatly appreciated. I’ve caught some of your other videos of bands I’ve never heard of; it’s awesome to share this love of music with so many different people. Thank you for the effort you put into these reactions and the information you share.

Aww thank you so much!! It warms my heart to know anytime someone checks out the smaller bands I like to feature.
Both songs are on my list. I was about to do the Resurrection video but a few commentors said I should wait because there's an official music video coming soon. Cloud Factory will be coming pretty soon though!

@@StickDastardly Tatiana does a cool eye thing in the Resurrectionfest video of Captain Clock. I’ve seen a couple videos of Retrospection but the one I mentioned above remains my favorite for some reason. I believe it’s Cloud Factory that catches Tatiana flashing Vlad before she starts singing (and he still doesn’t miss a beat! Ha!!). This band is tight and filled with so much talent for sure. Enjoy!

I missed this video when it came out but since the talk about drummers came up...
This drummer, #4 Dmitry Kim is like a drum machine. I watch most of his content on various platforms and as a bass player, would have loved to be in a band with a drummer like this. Very consistent. He is also the one that brought in the playing to backing tracks on the laptop, which made them able to do the 2 guitar part songs with only one guitarist. many changes happened after #3 Eugene Mantulin was injured and shortly after the founding guitarist left. Tatiana has talked about the depression she went through (and the haircut) and the accident in the van etc etc.
When Kim auditioned? I think it was an audition tape, he wore a mask and hood to stay anonymous.
    ruclips.net/video/9IQJIas9FiQ/видео.html
but also in the Outlander Live at loadfest he was all masked up. He was also in the BAD WATER video with Dmitry Oksen before his departure. Also Sit Stay Rollover, I Speak Astronomy, Words of Wisdom, Outlander (failure_color), Just another, and the Crowd Factory Official DVD trailer of Exposed as a Liar. Many of those were studio tracks with live footage so It was not him drumming. He did do all of the studio drumming for the King of Everything album.
I have heard him play (and teach) to many styles. I think he is an amazing drummer overall.
The guy he filled in for was Mantulin #3. this guy was a basher on the drums. Besides the Cloud factory video and a live in Moscow video, there is not many videos with him. (except bootleg live stuff) He was featured on their channel in tour vlogs a bunch. He has a short audition style video of Scissors, and the main playthrough of CF.
    ruclips.net/video/KlL4NasUXX0/видео.html
    ruclips.net/video/p7e6ISmCKV8/видео.html
I thought he was the drummer for the Cloud Factory CD, but after listening more, I think he came in late after some tracks were done by #2, Oleksandr Koziychuk . Then I saw a studio clip of Oleksandr doing backup vocals for No Hoard of Value. Then Clips of Mantulin drumming in studio and goofing around in the vlogs. Still not sure why or when exactly he came in, but he was the one that fell out of a 3rd story window, broke his back and suffered internal injuries. I really liked his style also. He hit harder than the other drummers and was like my previous drummer. He played with a little more flash, swinging harder, and hamming it up to the cameras than the other guys.
Jinjer members are a little reluctant to talk about those days much now. seems the van accident, drummer injury, and a few other dark moments have become taboo these days.
#2 Oleksandr Koziychuk was in the Scissors and Exposed as a Liar videos, as well as the Beastiarium sessions. I thought he was only there during the Inhale, Don't Breathe era. but as I mentioned he was there for part of Cloud Factory as well. I recently found an "OLD" video of DESTROY. It was before the current lineup. Maksym on vocals. The video is just pictures, but was from june 2009 with many pictures dated to 2008.
    ruclips.net/video/BlWhKgoy4XQ/видео.html
Though the drummer at the time was #1 Vyacheslav Okhrimenko, there is a picture with #2 Oleksandr Koziychuk, so he was associated with the band from way back. Not much to say about these first two guys but the did their part at the time and have moved on.
Then there was Vlad. Czar Zlam
The little guy sitting way high on a huge throne, with a giant kick and low set toms and cymbals. here is his "audition" ruclips.net/video/qvURBM1kkAA/видео.html
I watched a few clinics and demonstrations and could not figure this guy out. His playing is SO different. His timing is almost all snare and kick, but in a different way. I watched everything on him and I could not have been in a band with him. He doesnt move or signal anything like any drummer I had played with. Then as more Jinjer videos came out with him, I kept noticing changes to songs I was familiar with. Just play Official Cloud Factory and then Live. He just threw me off. Dont get me wrong, he is a great drummer, just VERY different. Then I went to see them live in Oct 2019. Days after Macro was released. On songs he covered by the past drummers, I still could not feel his versions, but on the songs he did in studio from Micro and newly released Macro, I really felt the fit, the cohesion of the band. It was a small club/bar and I was able to get close and just watch. By the end of the show and a couple older songs, he didnt stand out as different anymore, he was really part of the whole unit. I think as a band, they have had more than their share of changes and obstacles. As a unit from watching old interviews and vlogs, they have really found their niche and it seems like their personalities and song writing and performing as a unit has finally synced up.
I had watched an old show where one of the amps was not working (D Osken) at the start of a show. they did not fix it first and delay a few minutes to ensure it worked. They just started playing and let him and a tech keep testing and screeching through an entire song. they let the poor guy struggle in front of a large crowd. We all have bad days but...
When I saw them in 2019 they walked in took control, played flawlessly, no technical issues at all. just 4 members in street clother giving it all and not missing a beat. they do not need pyro or costumes or characters. The band comes out and plays and the entire crowd was laser focused on a kick ass band. It was one of the best shows I have seen in 40 years of going to see live music.

    Hi Daz,
Again, an interesting reaction. Difficult to don’t look at what you have to say.
But this time I won’t write about Jinjer but to suggest another band reaction. I’m sure you have a full bucket list of suggestions, but who knows if you may find time for this one.
Maybe you already know the band. If it is the case, maybe you will pass. But if not and you want to get them a try, here is my suggestion : Rush - Subdivision (Official Music Video).
Do no search and go blind. The video is old, but keep an eye at the drummer and follow the lyrics, which by the way was written by the drummer. I cross my fingers.

I'm familiar with Rush. My dad is actually a big fan and, yes, Neil Peart was one hell of an amazing drummer! 2112 was one of the first albums I ever heard. Maybe I'll do a "retrospective" video on that album, since a genuine reaction would be impossible.
Thank you for watching and for the comments! I look forward to reading them
