SOS is a song from a French Canadian space opera called Starmania. The original singer passed away, and Dimash first sang it as a tribute, from what I hear. In the opera, I'm told that the protagonists gf died, and this song is his mourning over her.
I'm from Québec Canada and this song was perform by a lot of courageous and talented performer. Dimash don't have a good prononciation but he gave a gorgeous performance for this song and make it shine at the international 👌
@@eviljeep yes, he did, didn't he? 🌞💕 I'm surprised, however, to hear your criticism of his French pronunciation given most French citizens I've watched do reactions of this particular rendition have always complimented his diction & pronunciation unlike the 1st rendition in the Chinese TV competition of " I am a Singer" where his French wasn't quite as good they said. But, as you said, his performances on the international stage have been excellent. I believe he's the best singer ever and am thankful to be alive to hear him in this way with a possibility of seeing him live, in-person before I die.

I speak french very each day of my life and i just say that, sometimes, he's getting some difficulties to pronounce some words. I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. welcome to the dimash rabbit hole, it only gets better. one of his videos that doesn't get many views, but is IMO one of his most amazing performances, is Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance with Li Yugang. Li is a very famous singer in Chinese opera. he is trained in the style of Nan Dan which is where men are trained to sing the soprano part of the play because historically women were not allowed to perform. the contrast between Dimash's opera style and Li's style is blended beautifully

but is IMO one of his most amazing performances, is Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance with Li Yugang. Li is a very famous singer in Chinese opera. he is trained in the style of Nan Dan which is where men are trained to sing the soprano part of the play because historically women were not allowed to perform. the contrast between Dimash's opera style and Li's style is blended beautifully
