17:12. The wings are not built correctly. You need to turn it at an angle so it can completely slide into the socket. There it will be slightly more stable and higher up than what you have now.
While Sazabi is definitely my favorite of Char's suits, I think the nightingale is a badass beast of a mobile suit. Out the two kits I think I would go with the high grade but they did an admirable job with this.
The fuel tanks are mostly for the funnels, Mecha. Or some mega extreme long range "cruise ship", like the Ex-S. Or Sinanju, for some reason Also : "handy dandy dick handle"
The coolest part of the RE 100 kits was that they'd often come out around the time a MG Counterpart came out. This came out near when the Hi Nu Ver Ka did, and the Zaku F2 came out near when the Alex MG.
@@complexityinc.5167 hope is all most have and I kinda like that some fans are still naive and hopeful enough to think Bandai will ever make any of the kits I see people regularly request.
Well, at least the HG Nightingale is vast superior for it's rock solid articulation and no polycaps, the RE/100 is NOT!!! Some weak socket polycap joints, neutral pose, very floppy, falls apart while moving it and the weirdest aspect is the huge buttflap with a FACE!!!
I wish this was more detailed. Big kits with giant armour plates with hardly any panel lines or rivets kinda annoy me. But I can see this being a really good project kit for someone who's good with scribing and adding PLA plates. Too bad this never got a proper MG to go with the Hi-Nu Gundam.
this is the perfect kit for scribing newcomers but you need to be really into the design to take the plunge and considering most like the sazabi over this i see why bandai wont do more
@@HSE331 Yeah, I agree. The design is a little too much. And for the price, the kit is really limited in what it can do (can't even move those wing things) I think I will get the HG some day since I want to get a kit for every Char MS. The proportions of this kit are jarringly awful when you compare it to the HG. I enjoy it for what it is but it's a tremendous waste of $90 bucks. They started the RE/100 line off on a sour note with how limited this thing is compared to how badass it could have been.
I feel like it's kinda unfair to compare anything to the MG Sazabi Ver Ka. It's one of the most complex and detailed MG's ever, if not the most. Outside of a Perfect Grade, you won't match that kind of detail.

I know you're going over how it disappoints nowadays, but at the time this was great. even with all its issues, I recall this being the first official nightingale bandai had ever produced. or if not 1st, then the first in a loooong time. I always loved the nightingale's design, but hated that it never got any love. not even an sd, that would fix/mitigate the size issues. it hardly even shows up in games/fiction! made worse by the fact that bandai loves to milk every _other_ char suit, but the nightingale just seemingly got unpersoned. or well, un-mobile-suited as it were
silver tier is quite generous, I would lowkey give it bronze due to how easily it falls apart and the kit's design (so are many other RE 1/100 oddly) feels like the designer just rushed it out
I prefer the visual design of the re:100 , I'm not a big fan of the exaggerated thrusters on the backskirt on the hg or the lack of curves on the head and the missing overhang on the chest.
What was the purpose of th big red dong? Why did the nightingale need that aspect. If it's not a wepon, it looks like it would just get in the moblesuits way. An yes its seams it its the best place to hold it when moving the model, but i don't think that's how they hold the moble suit on the ships, lol.

Bell-tick-tora?! It's not even that on the box. xD Got this first, years before the HG came out. It does make for a nice centerpiece! (though I occasionally poke Bandai for a properly scaled, fully gimmicked, and LED'd MG of this. even if it would cost 200+ ) I've only ever had the legs fall out when moving (you messed up in putting the arms in. those are pretty damn solid, normally. And you need to rotate the binders a bit more. They should be facing slightly forwards to lock in properly). The HG fixed this by reversing the peg/hole positions and materials (and a bit of weight). 45 thrusters in total! All 2-parters! xD Mine really doesn't like holding the beam rifle, almost at all, without an extra stand. The forearm gets in the way of the butt-stock of the rifle, so it ends up at a really odd angle. The plug in for one or more of the three back tanks broke, huh? xD Only thing on mine, too. Wish they were both correctly sized though. This matches up better with HG's than MG.
