is dat really needed for worship? or is it just our talents and the stage? mind u its the Lord who is d center not the arrangement or d chord progression, dats kinda hard to find d real worship just my two cents
I Samuel 16:17 “And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me.” Psalms 33:3 “Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.” The Word of God talks about skill in high regard specially in the Music Ministry. And only the most highly skilled were appointed as song leaders and instructors: I Chronicles 15:22 “And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.” But you also see that skill alone is not enough. David was famous not only because of his high level of skill, but because of the anointing on his music. In fact most of the time in scripture you see anointing mentioned in direct coloration to skill. Look up. (I Samuel 16:14-23; II Kings 3:15:)
it's just for class and trying to apply some lessons. But always check the culture. different countries has different types of approach for praise and worship when comes to band arrangement :). Some has those praise breaks where they kinda perform solos. and some where you typically see in our modern churches like elevation, bethel and planetshakers. so really depends brother 😁
Yes sir, you were right that it's simple because it's intended for the beginners level. It's actually Masterclass 1 for beginners and we need to practice sight reading, not just memorizing the song/beat. 🙂
Hey brother, I highly urge you to search “Michael Alda Drums” on youtube. This guys is a beast. He needs to chart this and read because he is teaching beginner students. Teaching b example.
