Perfect video in time before Apple's Unleashed event tomorrow so I can better decide whether to get 16 or 32 GB if I decide to get the new MBP Pro. Currently using a M1 16 GB RAM and been video editing 4K for almost a year with almost zero problems using Resolve.
How has been multitasking while video editing? Do you think 10-20 chrome tabs open sometimes, and have a music or video playing on picture-in-picture while doing graphic design work, would work on M1 16GB RAM? Trying to decide between 16GB and 32GB myself on the M1 Pro.
@@jennyhoneypenny To be frankly honest, if you need to multi task, I would go for 32 GB. I made a video on this last week on my channel. Although my machine processes a 10min 4K video quickly, it runs pretty hot and most memory resources are taken up. 13 GB used out of 16 GB with no multitasking. Hope this helps!
Hey brother! How big was your project? I’m trying to render 1 hour video and it doesn’t work out cuz whole pc crushes. I bet its because of my 16 GB RAM? did 32 make it much better for you or uve upgraded even more since that? Have u rendered any 1 hour long videos?
Is 64gb overkill or is 32gb enough? I'm a video editor, 4k 10bit h.264 code files from Sony cameras for editing. Does the extra ram help with playback with special effects or with multicam timeline?
Brother how things are going with your RAM? I’m not editing 4 k but heavy project of 1 hour long, wondering how much will I need ( my current 16 RAM is clearly not enough)
HP messed up and only put 8gb in my Laptop, Fixed the problem myself instead of waiting months to ship it to them and get it back. After using it with 8gb for a few weeks, even for just web browsing, 8gb is no longer enough. IMO.
Bro how much Ram do I need to edit a 1 hour video with a lot of effects? Maybe I will have to edit each half and hour separately , make them into 1 file and then combine? I had 16 ram but realised it’s not enough at all, will 64 gb be ok? I have some urgency so will appreciate a reply!
@@esjaimecota 64 but I had to adapt and cut 1 hour project into 10 videos for them to render. Adobe couldn’t render 1 hour with all the effects in place
Could someone help me? I edit 4k videos on TikTok using Premiere Pro. Whenever I add some effects (even before), everything slows down. I have 16 GB of RAM and an MSI 4060 graphics card. I read in the minimum requirements guide that at least 32 GB of RAM are needed to edit in 4k with Premiere. Do I have any options?

That is the same question I asked my self. Thanks for this video
Glad it was helpful!
Short, sweet, to the point, easy to understand. Great video.
Thanks a ton🙏 was considering an upgrade
Thanks for this video. Edited a big project and 16gb did not serve me well🙃. Def 32gb if youre a working professional.

This video was excellent and easy to understand. Thank you! ☺️👌🏻
That works.. only until you multitask and open one Chrome window.. after you need 128 GB Ram.
Excellent video. Thank you

Hello, can you help if you have any information which is better for video editing 4K on Premiere Pro: 16 GB DDR5 RAM or 32GB DDR4 RAM?
Thank you very much!
Can you make a review of lenovo thinkbook 16 p gn2?

acer swift x vs hp victus vs lenovo legion 5 .plz do a video 🙂
In my opinion 8 gigabytes of RAM has no place buses from someone who's upgraded from 16 to 32 to 64
