The way Luke looks at Savannah is so wholesome, you can tell how much they went through together and he seems so proud of her, im so proud of how far each of the kids have come, healing is not easy.
I know all the kids have been though hell. But It looks like Savannah and Lucas has been though x2. The day they broke down in tears when Miss Crystal gave them new cell phones was heart warming and heart breaking. They have never had anything. But now they have won the lottery of life.
I spotted this also & not for the first time. He actually does this with all of his Brothers & Sisters, Mom & Dad but there's nothing more special than his bond with Savanah. I'm in awe with the way they've both progressed and all credit goes to not only themselves but to Crystal, Arron & the other Children for investing so much love time & attention in to them. 💕 soooo beautiful to see 💕
I really like Aarons' idea to make it a more than one day event. There are some potential good skiers/snowboarders in your group that could really benefit from some on site lessons. Imagine putting them in a car without any lessons. I think they would love to ski/snowboard well. It would really smooth out their game and ads one more fun day skill to their life experiences. Even the littles would get so much more out of it.
I did not enjoy snowboarding at all when I first went. But I paid for lessons the next year and I loved every second lol. I havnt went again but I would too!!
The first time I went skiing I went with a ski group with my school and they gave us lesson so for the past few years I’ve been doing pretty good on my own so I totally recommend getting ski lessons
Lots of people made the lesson suggestion on their last trip. It’s actually pretty dangerous when you just put skis and snowboards on with no lessons. They not only can get injured themselves but they can injure others! Several near misses this trip. Maybe they will sign up for lessons next time. ❤
as a ski instructor i have to say I love that you go skiing bc ut is really fun but i would deeply suggest to take lessons with an instructor to get the basics right and be safe. but even if not please close your helmets just having them on your head but open they are useless... and close the bar on the lift. those two things easy to do but are huge keeping you safe! love you guys greetings from austria
I wanted to wait until the end to comment but... hearing Aaron call Crystal hot and pay for the food is so sweet !! I love the love you guys have!! I am 31 years old and got with my kids ( 2 daughters) father we were both 15. we lost him almost 4 year ago to brain cancer. But the way he loved me no matter what was the best feeling and I see that with you guys. I am only 31 and ill never be with anyone else. He was/is the love of my life and I don't want anyone else EVER.
@D.MCrazypiecesOnNicegram Hello, this is Karen. Never heard of Nicegram until this, so sorry it took so long to respond, had to investigate it. This is the first time someone asked for me to dm on another network other than Instagram. Not sure what your looking for have only done it once before.
I have skied with my family since an early age. The key for beginners is to take several lessons . This will build confidence so the experience is more enjoyable. Skiing is really fun once you know what you are doing, but scary and dangerous when you don’t. I remember being very fearful starting out. I learned to really ski when our family stayed a week at a ski resort and I was in a class all day long for the week. From then on with practice I became very good. ❤
Definitely recommend classes lol. I spent so much time on the ground the first time I went I hated it. Then the next year I paid for lessons and I loved every second lol
I also would recommend at least one or two beginner lessons. It gives the basics of must know how to. Also, snowboarding is definitely harder than skiing.
I’m not sure why they didn’t get lessons? So many people recommended lessons after the last time. It can be dangerous. They really should plan better. Make sure everyone has the right winter gear to stay warm and dry. And all go thru lessons.
@@learning2live_brokeninchro157 ya I thought tons of people had already recommended lessons but they could be twice as much money there and they don’t wanna spend $1,000 for one day of skiing. Idk lol it was like $170 instead of $90 where I learned my parents paid the $90 and I paid the difference because I actually wanted to enjoy it. I think they should offer that to the kids the one that want to actually learn could pay the difference even tho the money all comes from the same place for the most part
@@jus.me.tanzks5834 If you have a group, it’s definitely a better deal. It’s been awhile since I’ve gone to the mountains (and I’m in Oregon), but you can usually find some good deals for lessons. In my area you could always get a good deal with college students that gave ski lessons. Also, can you really put a price on your families safety? I’d rather pay for my family to learn how to do it correctly and safely so they can all enjoy themselves. Instead of the utter mess, tears, injuries, and melt downs they had the first time. And even the disorganized chaos and unneeded injuries of this trip. It’s just not safe.
Group lessons are always important for beginner skiers. also rent the equipment outside the resort the day before so you arrive with your own stuff and can start skiing right away!Remember ski buddies. Less stress for Mom and Dad
Next time, I strongly encourage that you all enroll in lessons. They will teach you how to turn and stop and how to be in control, which is safer for you and for others on the mountain. Skiing is more fun when you feel in control. Having said that, I love that you went again and that it looks like everyone seems to have had fun. You are making memories with the teens and that is amazing!
Get lessons. It will help everyone! I use to be an avid skier and the first time I went, I said "Oh, this is easy. I don't need help". I was wrong. I took lessons and went until they told me I could go on my own. I live in the northeast and started on the smaller hills. I was able to do some black diamonds after a couple of years.
I am 25 and I have been skiing since I was 3 years old and I definitely think you guys need lessons as it is a safety thing for you and others around you. Skiing the best thing ever and I love it so much. Love your videos
OMG!! I couldn't help but laugh! I told you last time you need to do a long weekend trip or something to a resort where you actually take a few lessons! There are packages out there that include them. Just knowing the basics and being able to practice them until comfortable would be a HUGE help to everyone. And Aaron hit it on the head thinking the same for more than a day trip. Once learning to stop and slow dawn is mastered I think you all would have a blast!! Keep it the teens for now and introduce the littles when all are comfortable to help them BUT have them do the lessons too. I really think you could all have a blast together . It might not be for all and that is fine! Those that don't enjoy it don't have to go. It is like any sport. You enjoy or you don't and practice makes perfect. You need more than once a year! Don't give up!!!
You need to hire a ski teacher. It will make all the difference in the world. It is dangerous if you don't know how to stop, turn, etc. If you traverse across the hill, turn and traverse back again, it is easier. If someone breaks their ski or board, they should get a Ski Patrol to help them. They can take them down in a taboggan. I started when I was around 12. My boys started skiing when they were 3. We were on the Ski Patrol As adults. Even if you are experienced, there are a lot of people who are out of control and can cause other people to get hurt. Even if one of you takes lessons, they could teach the others in the family how to ski.
I love how Joe is such a character and a trooper. No matter what goes on and happens he jokes about it. I love how you do things with the age groups. Looks so much like fun! Never been skiing. Tubing is fun though .
Hey crazy pieces Your videos always help brighten my day I recently lost my grandfather who passed away in his sleep and just watching y'all help cheer me up
I so felt the mom anxiety through crystal. Bit of ptsd from previous ski trip too. I have major ptsd too though. My son shattered his femur. The Dr stopped counting at 12 breaks. 2 pins, 6 screws later. The fear of seeing my son fly by everyone and couldn't stop is the worse fear I have ever had. No one could catch up to him. Dont blame you crystal, I can't go back either.
Awe, Aurora singing the Wednesday trending sing is so cute! Bella us a beautiful human being. All the kids are amazing! I really love watching the family evolve and grow together.
Joe’s shirt is the best.I love how Savannah said this isn’t for me mom.And I love Max’s answer he was like nope I’m never coming back.looks like you guys had lots of fun. This vlog made me laugh so much.much love to you all Crazypieces!!!🫶🥰
if you ever go again you should put everyone in a beginner snowboard / ski course. even a one day course could help y'all so much and teach you a lot! that's what i did when i started snowboarding and it helped me a lot. it made getting better on my own afterwards so much easier!
Let’s go I am so early hope all of the older kids enjoy skiing and it’s joe first time going skiing I have never been before i been watching y’all since the very beginning love y’all family so much can’t wait for the next video glad that Hannah is ok
The look on Max’s face from the start… I felt that in my soul. I’m not in to all that cold and stuff either. Everyone is improving. Looks like a good time on video ❤
You need to make a ski checklist with everything you will need and give one to each teen to check off so they don't forget things. I have to do that for my husband, we once flew to FL for a week and he didn't have boxers, socks, deodorant or a toothbrush 🤣
Alex is such a good big brother and so is Max. I love the contrast and compliments how they affirm each other. Love seeing most of the kids participating. But like Max, I too only went once. It went bad. But, I did try but badly prepared didn’t enjoy it. Loved being there with my fiancée and enjoyed disjoint for dinner with him. We were in Nagano back in 1984 when there was no English signs. So it was not only a first time but first time in a foreign country, first time in snow, first time sledging and first I got frost bite. Lesson learned . Missed seeing Melynda, Halie, Jamie and Jake in it as well. But am sure I be shy to go and do again . Frost bite was the last straw. Lol.
My entire family loved snow skiing. They even bought a cabin in the mountains so we could ski often. I NEVER ENJOYED IT! I would try year after year to find their joy and it was never there. I was constantly cold (and wet) and never understood the whole, go up, go down..... Finally decided it just wasn't for me. Now water skiing.... that was my sport!
Joe, Aaron, it's ok, I feel every bit of my 43 year age myself. I'm sure sure if I could go skiing today. Not after a back surgery and another possible one in the near future. You all did great and I'm proud of Max for trying again. I know you all did better than the one and only time I went skiing when I was about fifteen or sixteen years old. I wouldn't even leave the bunny slopes...lol What Joe needs is a really great massage. I know back pain better than anybody and my massages really really helped! A hot bath and a heating pad and a relaxing massage would do wonders on a back!!!!! Much Love Always, Kristen B 💕💕💕💕
I heard you say airtags , think thats a great way for you to use them for everyone you can have them wear it or put it in a zippered pocket for trips like these so it's easier to keep tabs on where everyone is!
Tips for next skip trip: 1. Take a lesson for your safety & others' safety. They will teach you the rules of the "road" and how to stop safely. 2. You always pull the bar down on ski lifts. 3. Ski Patrol will take you down the hill if your equipment breaks. 4. Everyone needs to pack an extra pair of ski gloves/mitts.
It is easier when you split the trip up. At least you all gave it another go! Savannah: that green color on you is your color! It really compliments you!
Awe that looks like organized chaos and soooo much fun. I think you should do what Aaron said and stay overnight as well as bring the Lil's too and assign all the Lil's to one adult or teen so everyone has a buddy they are responsible for sticking with. I think if you did that it would be far less stressful. I'm glad y'all had so much fun and I definitely think it was better to not bring the Lil's on this trip that way you guys could focus more on yourselves and learning which will make you better when you go with the Lil's next time. The better you are the better each person can help their lil buddy and y'all can even teach them what you learned from this trip. I think you guys shouldn't give up because you're doing good and making core family memories. ❤️❤️❤️
💕🥺🥰 How amazing is Joe? Giving up his Gloves like that saying I'll use my mittens the minute he knew someone was without a matching pair with no prompting, not wanting a thank you, nothing at all. His heart is so beautiful, what a great 'Funcle' for the Children. Aaron's got great taste in best friends 💕
Crystal! You should definitely try cross country skiing! Make sure it's a nice mild day, get a lesson to learn how to make it easier for the body, and enjoy the quiet scenic trail. Highly recommend it! May not be as thrilling for some, but it can really give you an appreciation for the nature you'll see and usually get a few special moments where you feel so at peace. We'd lightly pack a backpack or two (with water, tissues, snacks, and spare socks or gloves) and take turns wearing them. (keeping our trash and recycling in the backpacks) I get the sense that Logan would find it enjoyable once he's fully recovered. 👍
If you guys are going to Flagstaff to ski thier are shops just before you go up to the mountains that rent out skis packages and snowboard packages with lift tickets so you don't have to wait in line for eguipment at the mountain and I think you can check them in at the mountain when your done not sure though
Next time you could make groups of 3 to 4 people who always stay together and look after each other for some determined time, so that nobody gets lost or left alone. After some time, you could then change the groups so that everyone can slide together if they want to. It is way to hard to constantly stay all together and look after everybody 😅
I’m glad it was better this time. 👍🏻 Just be aware: if the straps of your helmet are open, it won’t help you in an accident… Always make sure your helmet fits right and is fully strapped!
There's easy ways to make sure this doesn't happen. Every person stay with one buddy so no one gets lost. No hill at ALL until they take at least one class. Everyone have a packing list and check each item so it's accounted for, perhaps. None of these problems would happen, it just takes a little planning.
any of you guys who are willing to try again, next time you guys should all take a class to learn the basics like turning, stopping, etc. you might be able to get a private instructor for those who are skiing and those who are snowboarding so that you can get ore personalised help. Airtags wouldn't be a bad idea and getting everyone in a meeting together to go over the plan and make sure you have everything could also be helpful, but definitely taking a class or having a personal instructor for an hour or so would really help. that helped me when i first learned how to ski ☺.
Hope next year you guys can make a weekend or a week trip. Obviously take the ones who will enjoy the most, and everybody will benefit getting lessons and have a great time.
Joe you have to realize now that even if we feel young at heart, our bodies are teamed up with our brain, they say hehe watch this we gonna show them just how young they think they are...we fall,we hurt, we pay for our actions thanks to that brain n body of ours. Lol glad y'all had a blast
We live in the valley and go to Snowbowl usually once a year. Like Aaron said, go up one day, then stay the night. We normally make it a 3 or 4 day trip, we'll drive up there, stay the night somewhere, play in the snow then go skiing the next day, sometimes two days but we don't drive all the way back to the valley after skiing/snowboarding. I can't remember if you've done it or not but the snow park in flagstaff is a blast! It's good fun for the entire family.
You should do what Aaron says!! Skiing is better when doing it for about 2-3 days minimum. The first day is always the worst one since you waste a lot of time renting the skies, getting the passes, etc. Also, the first day back skiing after a year or two is pretty disastrous but very normal since you haven't skied in a long time. The second and third days are always the best. Also, a 1-2 hour private group lesson on the first day to get a few tips and get back on track makes everybody feel more comfortable and ski a lot better. PS: for beginners skiing is easier than snowboarding
Good morning! No matter who fell or what happened, you are enjoying and making precious memories with your kids. Thanks for sharing. Hafa adai and love from the island of Guam 🌴❤🌴
Crystal I am glad you guys gave it another try. I know its hard to not worry about the kids but you would enjoy this experience much better if you didn't worry. Do a buddy system and let them go at their own pace and track. You guys did much better this time
1st skiing outing was 21st bday. No lessons. Fell off lift, 3 hrs to get down bunny hill. Went straight to lounge and waited for friends enjoyed my hot chocolate. Never again...am 68 now. No regrets.
Thanks for the vlog. That's quite a day if you have to drive such a long day and go skiing. I agree with Aaron. It's better to stay overnight. I also think it's a good idea to take skiing and snowboard lessons. That will make it more safe for everyone, and it's more fun if you know what to do. Good luck. Love from Holland.
OMW Crystal . You have to relax, you get to stressed out. The kids are having fun and they will do better if they do it more often. You will fall , it is part off the fun.
I’m with Max! I have lived in Colorado for 18 years and have never gone skiing. I tried once when I was about 15 and hated it. Neither of my daughters would like it, so we’ve never attempted it. I have family from Nebraska who go to Breckinridge (I think) yearly and I never go.
Suggestions to take lessons were the greatest advice. Learn the basics and learn to respect the mountains. Please surf lessons when you all go to Hawaii. Not as easy as it looks! With all that, Have Fun❤
I love skiing and snowboarding started to learn it in preschool at the age of 3 ... (I live in austria though and they actually offered skiing courses at school from 3 years on every year for a week with an instructor)

Man the memory's you are making with your babies is outstanding. These things are things they will always remember and then pass down..

i bet its amazing being able to go on 10 vacations a year.. yall are lucky..
Crystal don't be so hard on yourself, your a mom and you were worrying that your husband and kids were okay, well done on not falling
Joe 🤣🤣 too fast, too fast -boy you make me laugh so much. Love him. Everyone needs a Joe in the world 🙌
What a fun day. Even though they fell sounds like all but Max's had a good time
Bella,, you rock in every way ❤️ well done for getting them to go again ♥️🇿🇦♥️
It is easier when you split the trip up. At least you all gave it another go! Savannah: that green color on you is your color! It really compliments you!
Hieeee , haha Joe is so funny who ordered a pizza 🍕 haha 😄 😆 that had me laughing!! Glad your all out having fun and making memories
Have you taken beginers lessions? I'm a skier and strongly suggest it for safty.
(keeping our trash and recycling in the backpacks)
I get the sense that Logan would find it enjoyable once he's fully recovered. 👍
Do up your helmets!! It’s doing nothing for you if it’s not done up Crystal
Omg I love your videos y’all inspire me so much
That was so funny Joe screaming down the hill😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤love y’all Crazy pieces
You all should have taken a group lesson!
That would be too sensible!
If you guys are going to Flagstaff to ski thier are shops just before you go up to the mountains that rent out skis packages and snowboard packages with lift tickets so you don't have to wait in line for eguipment at the mountain and I think you can check them in at the mountain when your done not sure though
Freaking Hilarious. Joe is so fun. Loved it.
Aww Hannah bless her 🙏 always watching from the United Kingdom but hope they had fun and Joe too.
Aww fantastic fun, think I'd be terrified of those ski lifts 😅 hope Joe heals quickly ❤️
These falls r great. So many things to remember later. Great saying you tried skiing/snow boarding
Next time you could make groups of 3 to 4 people who always stay together and look after each other for some determined time, so that nobody gets lost or left alone. After some time, you could then change the groups so that everyone can slide together if they want to. It is way to hard to constantly stay all together and look after everybody 😅
Joes funcle shirt is perfect! He is so fun and cool what a great uncle. Love seeing him in the family vlogs. Glad you guys went skiing again.
Love all u guys❤
You guys are amazing!!
I enjoy watching your videos and podcasts. I appreciate Joe's input into the dynamics of your family. God bless.
I love your videos, this one made me laugh. Been following your family for a while now.
I’m glad it was better this time. 👍🏻
Just be aware: if the straps of your helmet are open, it won’t help you in an accident… Always make sure your helmet fits right and is fully strapped!
Savannah, I saw a beautiful princesse ☘☘☘☘❤ Wow! You and Lukas are doing great ! All my love from Paris France 🗼❤
Hope next year you guys can make a weekend or a week trip. Obviously take the ones who will enjoy the most, and everybody will benefit getting lessons and have a great time.
Thank you for the videos, always laughing with you all and enjoying time road trips. 🌨 ❄️
The way that savannah face so cute when Alex heard adoption trip from crystal but she said was reduction trip ❤😂
Oh Crystal you reminded me of myself but once you ski more often you love it more each time you go I promise. Its a great sport.
Everything about joe is this vlog is 😂 and defrost his beard 😂😂
Good morning! No matter who fell or what happened, you are enjoying and making precious memories with your kids. Thanks for sharing. Hafa adai and love from the island of Guam 🌴❤🌴
if the glove looks the same on both sides just flip it to make one right and one left.
I love your family so much. I love Joe! He's so good with the kids! Someday, some lucky woman is gonna steal his heart and break mine.
Crystal I am glad you guys gave it another try. I know its hard to not worry about the kids but you would enjoy this experience much better if you didn't worry. Do a buddy system and let them go at their own pace and track. You guys did much better this time
LOL.
19:40 with the K2 board.. That's me!
I'm loving Joe's Fun-cle shirt that's pretty cool. Most importantly I hope he gets to feeling better. What an awesome family trip !! 🩵💙
I laughed so hard at everyone's thoughts on skiing 🤣😂🤣
Awesome video I really like it lot it was cool and you made awesome video and you my favorite RUclips and you are best RUclips channel
Love the T Shirt Joe!!
Glad everyone had fun! Now for the recovery, good luck! ❤❤❤❤❤Love watching your videos! Have a great evening!
Oh man…. I’ve seen all your videos. This was the funniest one…. Especially when Bella called herself a traffic cone
1st skiing outing was 21st bday. No lessons. Fell off lift, 3 hrs to get down bunny hill. Went straight to lounge and waited for friends enjoyed my hot chocolate. Never again...am 68 now. No regrets.
You guys need lessons!! It helps so much!!! Don’t quit
I love Joe his definitely a Fun-cle bless him x
Definitely need an overnight trip!! Maybe come to Oregon and do it here!! 😉I’m trying Bella💞💞💞
I love Ariana’s braids!!!! Soooo cute on her
OMW Crystal . You have to relax, you get to stressed out. The kids are having fun and they will do better if they do it more often. You will fall , it is part off the fun.
The montage at 22 minutes of you guys all falling lolololol
I’m with Max! I have lived in Colorado for 18 years and have never gone skiing. I tried once when I was about 15 and hated it. Neither of my daughters would like it, so we’ve never attempted it. I have family from Nebraska who go to Breckinridge (I think) yearly and I never go.
I love joe’s shirt
Suggestions to take lessons were the greatest advice. Learn the basics and learn to respect the mountains.
Please surf lessons when you all go to Hawaii. Not as easy as it looks! With all that, Have Fun❤
I love skiing and snowboarding started to learn it in preschool at the age of 3 ... (I live in austria though and they actually offered skiing courses at school from 3 years on every year for a week with an instructor)
I'm really glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like to ski.
