I'm currently working on some new content about my video production process. Let me know if you have any questions by leaving a comment below, and I'll try and answer them in my upcoming video.
It will be my pleasure if you share the storytelling process for your video production process and I believe the storytelling always bring me to watch till the end. Thank your for always sharing the great content.
I've got so many ideas but I'm finding it a challenge to schedule and delegate those ideas into a schedule to make content, outside of my day job. Thanks Matthew
Clamping a boom arm onto a monitor mount is a stroke of genius! I keep my webcam hovering above my monitor through arm extensions from the desk lighting rig, but this is way more elegant. New DIY project added to the list, thank you :-)
I think you're the only youtuber that I'm anticipating for your uploads. I don't know but your videos are so entertaining and also insipiring at the same time
I appreciate that your desk accessory decisions aren't made arbitrarily, but rather designed with a specific program/scenario in mind. Thanks always for sharing your world-building with us Matthew!
It’s been a long time following your content from Barcelona. Inspired by your videos I have considered HÅG Capisco Puls 8020 (color grey) which I think it would be a good option for your back as well and helps you stay active. It is a hybrid option between your two chairs😙
These products are PREMIUM. I've used your previous videos as reference for practices to apply and looked for cheaper alternatives to use (Etsy, Aliexpress, even doing some DIY stuff!) because I like how you think about problems & workflows. The "alternatives" part especially applies to the Grovemade stuff - the craftsmanship is remarkable, but their function is readily replaced by more budget-friendly options, and you can make/find good quality stuff elsewhere. Something to aspire to be able to afford in the future!
@@MatthewEncinaYes exactly! I wanted my shelf to be exactly this height, so I made it that height! Using the best of the best as reference gives something to aim for :)
What stood out for me the most is your absolutely simple gooseneck solution to your mic. That is an awesome idea! Everything else is as classy and top-notch, Matthew! Always a pleasure to see your videos and content! Cheers!
Been watching lots of your videos recently as I design my desk setup! I also have a polycarbonate Mode Envoy. Where can I buy the cable you use for your Envoy?
I really appreciate your approach to the design process and would love to see more content on product design that involves 3D modeling. Awesome content throughout! I look forward to everything you post!
I love the accessories, amazing video Matth, recently I got mood sonnet, can I ask you, you have minimal cable connected with keyboard, which cable it is?
Another Banger but I do have a suggestion a studio monitor from Adam or Yamaha or Adam would be better for your production of videos studio Monitors are flat sounding and you can hear what is wrong with audio and they can be a good price too. You want accurate sound not speakers that sound good. the white Yamahas HS Series would fit your studio space well
I appreciate you pointing that out. The HS monitors do look nice! Do you think having these would still be efficient/useful in my echo-y space? It's not professionally sound-treated. Wondering if headphones are still the best route for this purpose, considering my situation.
Do you have a video of how you have that laptop tray with the cal digit dock right beside. That's exactly what I've been looking for and so far your the only one in ALL of youtube I can find!
Hi Mathew! There are two items that I don’t find any “well designed option”. I need a calculator and a pointer for presentations (with a laser and buton to change the slides. Do you have any recomendation? Thank you for your work!
Should also be said that you don’t NEED an $80 “notetaking kit” It won’t change your workflow more than a $1 notepad will, your tools can only go as far as your work ethic
Hey I think your videos are great, and I'm also very busy with design. I was therefore wondering what your experience is with Apple for 3D design and rendering.
The shelfs and the rail are my favorite here! I've had a DIY monitor stand, so used it as an additional shelf under and on top of it - SOO much more space for small things that you usually need quickly because you got an idea to note. Rail - I thought about getting a bookstand to prop up my notebook during meetings or to view my references better, now I see I wasn't the only one who wanted their notes vertical))
Another great video as always! 🙌 I love how each desk accessory serves a specific function for your workflow, something everyone should take into account before buying any accessories (haha). I'm still working out which item fits my workflow the best. Thank you for sharing this video; Matthew, you definitely inspire a lot of us. ☺
I appreciate that. My favorite accessories are the one that serve multi-function purposes. Like the Display Rail to hold notes, to-dos, devices, and sketches.
Thank for sharing Mathew, I really love how everything in your desk is not only visually stunning but functional, every item has it's functionality, as someone who is i the creative feild you inspire me a lot Mathew in everything you do
I do offload a few from time to time under r/mechmarket - In the future, I'll try and post any sales publicly on my IG stories. Though I do encourage trying to build your own. It's so much fun!
I really enjoyed this video so much I've watched it twice lol. I'm interested in how you set up the TourBox for premiere pro. I have had one for years, but for some reason, I have not been able to figure out a workflow that allows me to use it often.
Thanks! I've mostly used it for color correction. I believe I started with one of the templates they've provided (maybe they're new to their app?) and did slight customization from there. But it's really helped me dial in and match my footage across the board before I do my final pass of color grading.

Love the way you approach your needs and solutions! Currently going through changes in my studio, thanks for sharing and inspiring. But my question is not related to that. What shoes are those? hahaha
I really liked the workarounds you shared during the video! It never occurred to me that you could mount a webcam on top of a light bar using 3M strips 🤯. I also face the issue having a mic (with a mic arm) being visually cluttered, though I don't think I can mount it to the back of my monitor as I am using a monitor stand (instead of monitor arm). Hey I think your videos are great, and I'm also very busy with design. I was therefore wondering what your experience is with Apple for 3D design and rendering.
If you're doing heavy GPU rendering, I think PCs are still better suited. But for me, general modeling and still frame rendering, it's great.
Thanks for sharing your favorite desk accessories, you're such an inspiration. What 3D software do you use when designing 3D objects? :)
currently: Shapr3d
I got the Opal based on your recommendation and it's fantastic. Just what I was looking for. Thanks!
