Thanks for being patient with me as I work on new videos. Don't forget to check the descriptions for additional details and links. You can watch the rest of the series here: ▶ ruclips.net/p/PLB6HvE9eDWohWhiMXV8CPDCD2TbhA8dov
I really love your work btw. I would really love to see a collab with MODE on an aesthetic split mechanical keyboard if you are into them. I think that would be a dream.
Your ability to envision such unique designs/layouts and then build it all yourself is seriously so cool. Thanks for all the time you put into this video Matthew!
What I love most about you is your personality of not settling and achieving more and more, never satisfied. You could have just stopped with projects once your home was complete but you kept on going to satisfy yourself and your viewers. I appreciate you so much, been subscribed since 2020❤❤
I just admire the capability that you have to do all this planning and an almost perfect execution throughout the process, it just inspires me, hope one day could have a studio as cool as yours, cheers
Hey Matthew, another great video as always. Been sporadic with my YT consumption, but having the whole series to watch is sublime. Quick question: where is your mug/cup from? Looks great and I'd love to add it to my collection. If it's handmade, well darn. Thanks!
I keep on watcing this video whenever I wanted to relax. The same time re-learning the process you did. Really great content! And the coffee mug you're using looks beautiful. Where did you get it?
For this and other content you have shared I find amazing that you get to do stuff with your father. I hope you know and appreciate how fortunate you are. Keep doing great stuff and involve your Dad as much as you can. He truly will appreciate and value time spent with you. Be well and thanks for your amazing content.
The thing is I have profound context in this regard as a son who no longer has his Dad, and as a Dad who has lost a son. It brings me joy to see others enjoy this specific type of relationship. Blessings.
Hi My Friend! Congratulations for your new project, It's a Amazing! I just see the video right now! Wonderful design! Your videos are really inspiring to me! Today I finished my Desk nook remodeling. I don't have any expertise with wood and tools but I can do it by myself! I'm very proud! Now my Desk nook have Mobility and use flexibility. The cable management will be more efficient and invisible. Thanks a Lot! See you in your next video.
Smooth as always, Matthew. Smooth as always. Love the project, the wood work and the lighting you get in the studio. Can't wait to see more content from this space. How long do you expect to stay in this space, if I may ask?
As always, fantastic work and aesthetics. Quick question: The base of your work table, did you add structural support beyond the 3/4” plywood to form the base for the tabletop? Without it, it would seem to have lateral sway. Do you have plans you’ve released for this build?
No plans out currently. The table only has the H-shaped base, nothing else. It’s mass and many contact points make it feel solid. It hasn’t moved at all.
Ooh, IKEA just released a new wall divider on wheels that looks like this (Mittzon), would be a great IKEA hack to add their peg boards on one side like you did here
Another one! Thanks for this amazing content, Matthew! I missed your visit to Philippines it would have been incredible - anyhow hope there's still next time regardless of location. :)
Hi Matthew. Love the woodworking projects besides your other design content. How do you go about organizing your woodworking tools? Which tools do you recommend to build some of things you've built in this channel? Have you done a garage organization video? Thanks for sharing this!
Hey thanks. I don't have a garage, and my tools are all kept here. I've linked my tools used in most of my videos if you check the descriptions. I'd say the top two things worth getting are a circular saw with a track (or track saw) and a good power drill. Those are the top two tools I use most often when breaking down and joining pieces together.
Nice idea and execution. Just a couple of suggestions from an architect. You could have put fibreglass batts in between the front and back panels of your movable screens for extra sound deadening. You should have installed levellers on the table in case your floor isn't level. Other than that, top not job and kudos for you dad coming up with the threaded insert idea. Us dad's come in handy sometimes ;)
Thank you for the tips. I considered stuffing the moving walls, but they would add weight, which I wanted to keep to a minimum. I may consider it the future, but perhaps with a more robust base/casters.
Didn't see a single cut being done, do you have a dedicated place for the dirty dusty work? It looks more like a design studio than a workshop, but really amazing!
Correct. I decided not to do heavy woodworking in here, just light assembly work and finishing, that doesn’t creat too much dust. I bought wireless battery operated tools to do that outside (or will have my lumber shop cut for me).
I simply enjoy listening to you and it's nice to see how skilled your family is at craftsmanship. Out of pure curiosity: What kind of car do you drive?
Is doing a video about your recent experiments and learnings of latte art in your plannings? would love to see that. Thanks for the amazing quality, as always.
Lovely video Matthew!! Always love seeing what you cook up next seemingly effortlessly. Can’t wait to see what you’re working on with the grovemade crew!
Boa sorte!
They are from aiaiai: amzn.to/41VOb1C I love them, and I have 2 sets (one wired), and my oldest is 10 years old. It's a modular headphone that you can upgrade or change parts out. You can get them from Amazon, but I recommend just going to their site and configuring your own.
I've been following this series since the beginning and I absolutely love you studio space. You've done an amazing job keeping things modular. I'm especially fond of your DIY building for your furniture. The final product looks great, but you don't weigh yourself down making everything overly complicated the way a lot of furniture builders would.
Another incredibly thoughtful build. Question, what is the acoustics in your office like? Is it very echoey? I’ve recently discovered that the acoustics of the spaces I’m in affects how I get into my flow too. So just curious if it’s something in your radar too.
Yes, it has a lot of reflections because of the high ceiling. It's better now with stuff in the space, but definitely not optimal. I got a quote for sound treatment of the high ceilings, but it's $10k 🫣
Hi Matthew, My only question is " Are you happy?", but I think I know the answer is "YES" :) From my point of view, you are blessed and you working hard to made everyhing in your mind. Feel happy for you : )
Very organized. And it looks great. I love that you have all the things you need handy… but easily hidden to make the space comfortable. I also love the large work table. Great workspace and place to congregate.
☕️ always inspiring Matthew! I’ve been willing to step away from the computer and learn to woodworking and DIY, but getting started from scratch as a complete beginner is overwhelming. Any advice on learning places and priority skills to develop first?

Trying my best to exercise my creativity in as many ways possible.

Cheers
Outstanding project. I am going to convert mine to similar to yours

Like a guided meditation. I'm always way calmer after watching your projects, Matthew!
Thanks Matt
An organizer who can build their own storage solutions *chefs kiss*

The whole studio is a perfect workspace for a creative. Great job Matthew!
Cheers
I love how the work table + project walls really anchor the entire studio together visually. Great job! **stoked for the coffee setup too
Thanks! I agree, visually it gave that corner a good weight.
Hard work pays off. You and your father are a beautiful force. Can’t wait to see the creative videos you make with the workspace stuff you have built.
Appreciate that. It's been a blessing to work on these with family.
gonna need a shot of you doing that T-pose next time 😂
😅
recent subscriber, love your latest videos about the workshop, would love to have access to the Giant Worktable plans! Amazing job!
If there are a lot of requests for it, I will put in the effort to make them.
This is simply genius. Love that you and your Dad did this together.
Cheers
what a workshop!
The space is coming together.
Such unique and really usefull design u come up with is the best thing and the boards look awsome 🔥
Thanks. It was challenging but very fun

Dude you make furniture from scratch faster than I can assemble one from IKEA
😅
Amazing space, and super cool to see your family help you put it all together!
Thank you Tom!
amazing! i would love to see the design plans for the worktable ☕
☕️ I'll consider providing that if there's enough request for it.
amazing video Tito Matthew!
Appreciate it
Looking forward to see the upcoming projects, that's a nice setup you have, congrats! 🔥💯
Cheers

It’s a lot of work to design and refine it.
Masterpiece as always! Love from China ❤
Appreciate that!
Hey Mathew, how does it feel to be efficient 24/7? 😅
Oh I wish.
The hidden offcuts storage location is genius. I'm stealing this !
🙌🏽
I love how your family has helped you through this whole process - seem like amazing people!
So grateful for them

I only have a year lease, but I am likely going to extend it.

I love how you immediately worked on the workshop you made, that must be so fulfilling when someone's using the thing you built.
Yes, it's been fantastic to use the space

Great one! Love productivity.
I am curious about the unsymmetric gaps between those 2 panels (11.52). Is that by accident?
Thanks. It’s the angle.
These videos are just simply therapy to my brain 😮💨 storytelling and though process is just “French Kiss”
Cheers
Hey @matthewencina, I may have missed that, but what make/brand are the transparent containers with the dividers on rolls? Thanks in advance!
Look for the modular storage crates link in the description 👌🏽
Hi, you are verry talented, keep moving forward!! I like the coffe mug and jar, where can I get them? Thank’s!
The mug was handmade by a friend. The coffee server is from Fellow: Stagg XF Pour-over: fellow.sjv.io/k0jg2v
Amazing project. Wish to have such a workspace for myself one day. I was just wondering, are you japanese?
Thanks. No I am not.

Some of it will be included in my next coffee video.
I'm salivating. I've dreamed of building a work shop I can blend with my living area. So good.
Thanks! It was definitely a challenge.
Excellent workshop! Versatile, practically (re)organizable, easy cleanable and looking like an invitation for work.
Thanks! I'm getting a lot of good use out of it.
Beautiful! How many sq. feet is the space? Would be good to know for reference. Thanks
Thanks. Just shy of 700sf
Hey Matthew! Love the design. Could you share or open source the design and cut list of the table? I'd love to recreate this in my space as well.
Let me think about that. DM me on IG and let me see if there something I can pass along.
Love your dad helping.
☺️
Love this!! 🔥Got my cold brew & breakfast & started my day with this. ⭐
☕️
This office space is amazing! Great content. Where do you get your lumber from in LA?
Anderson Plywood
Lovely video Matthew!! Always love seeing what you cook up next seemingly effortlessly. Can’t wait to see what you’re working on with the grovemade crew!
Thanks Avi!
Got so many ideas after this, thank you!!! ps. where is that beige hoodie from? It looks super comfy!
I'm glad. The sweater is from Everlane.
Great as usual…do you spend there everyday? Or still sometimes work from home? Cheers
I spend 5 days a week there
Could u create a study with me (1-2h of u working with no montage and a chill music)?
I've been considering that.

Yes, good things take time.
🔥video as always, i was just thinking about how i could add a dry erase board without mounting it to my office walls.
Have fun designing!
That gap that you have on the acoustic panels you could add some kind of rechargable light spots/bars to illuminate that side
Or some kind of frame. Thanks for sharing
I know it doesn't mean anything to anyone else but I feel proud to say I was the 1,000nd liker
Thanks for your support
Hey, what kind of headphoes do you have and do you recommend them at all :) Saw them at 4:20. Great work and video by the way!

A family of makers. Completely unrelatedly, what are the shoes you're wearing at 1:19? They're really interesting.
They are by Palladium. Forgot the name.
@@MatthewEncina Thank you.
The algorithm brought me here. Inspiring video.
I'm glad.
Small tip, put mineral wool inside the rolling project walls, and you'll see a massive difference :)
(for acoustic treatment + it makes everything fire resitant as a plus)
@@gabbamoreno Noted. Is that stuff heavy? I'm trying to keep it very light.
Hello Matthew I like watching your videos have you done anything to your house? I like your ideas 💡 because having a 700 square foot house built soon.
