Of all the 29 States in India, You only visited a few. In terms of cuisine each state is a country in itself with regional variations and unique cuisines. So brace yourself for a yearlong tour of the country. the most diverse but amazing place you can ever see.

Maybe not all 29 states but say a primary state in each major region say one in east, west, north, south and a central state. That's enough to give a gist of the variation in flavours.

You should definitely visit the palaces like Falaknuma palace, where there's is 101 table and 2 great course meal restaurants(about Rs.8000 for 2), Jewel of Nizam (Rs. 2500 for 2). Hyderabad is very famous for their royal cuisine (as many Nizams resided there), like 'Shahi tudka' ( literally meaning royal piece), spicy food, Haleem, and people there LOVE their meat. There are a lot of historic places there. FYI the world's most expensive diamond Kohi-noor was mined from the outskirts of HYD(Golkonda), and good news is HYD was selected as the most safe place in India since the past 3 years. Hope you enjoy it there^^

Like the PRC there are dozens of different cuisines in India. I worked on the short/hardy stem rice project that helped grow rice not to be beat down in the rainy season. This was back in the mid 80's while India was still protecting the rupee but letting NGO's into the country.

I don't think you can generalize. There are clean and messy places all across India. Indore is currently ranked the cleanest city in India followed by Bhopal. North Eastern states like Meghalaya are also quite clean. As for people being chill, I'm sure there's chill people in every part of the country.

i live in Hyderabad and visit Mumbai often and yeah it is cleaner compared to it. One of the cities which i thought was cleaner or rather there were very few people/transportation to be seen on road was mysore. it was so silent and after living in hyderabad the lack of people outside/roads surprised me a lot. Like no busy bus stand or anything similar.

Wow, I had no idea English was still so prevalent there in India. I mean, I figured there would be plenty of English speakers because of the whole colony of GB thing but all the store signs, push signs etc were in English. I mean it makes sense I suppose, still kinda surprising to me.
But India is one of the places I'd like to visit at some point. China, India and Japan (and if I can do it somehow Antarctica lol) are amazing places. Not just for history's sake and tourist stuff, but the foooooood.

Ahh about 7:57, you got it all wrong my friend, I know you are being nice here but frankly there is no such thing as clean in India. It’s just your companion that shows the perspective but the variations happen almost every 10meters and sometimes even every 10 seconds. Everything in India is nothing but unexpected, that’s how we love to live every freaking day.

If you are visiting india , Odomos mosquito repellent cream is a must , traffic is chaotic but mostly if you put your hand out motorist will stop,be careful of the motorcycle riders (tons of street Rossi’s) . Many people speak English as its as important as our national language Hindi ! Keep an eye on your belongings in crowded areas and public transportation just in case .

Cows are basically immortal in India. I have seen cows cross highways with impunity. People would not see a dog 10m away but they will see the cow in their dreams. Even the drunkards stop their vehicle and let the cow cross. Poor dogs!

Glad you visited hyderabad, its my hometown and love going back there. It definitely is more laid back because its not really a touristy city compared to others in india. The food is some of the best too, the state has one of highest if not the highest consumption of meat in all of india at 98.7%(according to a research huffington did), so a lot more non-veg dishes available. Dude to high population of muslims in hyderabad you can also get beef dishes more easily too. The traffic is one of the worst though, too chaotic, hoping the new metro rail they built once fully completed and connected will cut back on it a lot.

No matter where I am in the world even though I am in the USA born and raise I don’t like the hustle and bustle of any parts of the world no matter where I am. I’ve gone to UK, Sweden, I was in west Africa in 2016 I don’t like the hustle and bustle of any part of the world so whenever I do travel I always try my best and stay away from all the chaotic surroundings because I’m a very peaceful and spiritual person so I always gravitate to calmness

at the end, what would be funny, if you moved all the dishes 5 degrees on the roof on your last day. i installed an 8 foot dish on my dad's garage 30 something years ago. it's still there today, but he has a little 18" dish for TV now.
