"Sorry about the bear trap Charlie. It's just the way we do things around here!" As Charlie was dying, David should have taunted him, "Lee surrendered to Grant, na na na na na!!"
This movie might be a terribly unnecessary, far less subtle, lukewarm remake of the Gregory Peckinpah original…but still. Damn, that beartrap moment was *brutal*.
This movie loses most of the subtext of the OG. Instead going for more of a basic revenge film of a guy pushed to far until he loses it. Which was part of the OG but that's mostly what this one is.
@@boomstickcritique902Dustin Hoffman performance works better because he comes off as meak. While in this version James Mardsen character might possibly be a potential serial killer one day.
@@sammywilliam8156 It's just because she's shocked at the level of violence he committed because they didn't have to kill him at that point because she had the gun on him they could have shot him and taken him down and he would have been arrested anyway. The basic moral here is don't let people turn you into a monster as well which is what happened in this situation he was no longer killing for defense but just for revenge same as them. Although in this case, it's perfectly understandable why he would snap and say Fuck it and kill him.
That's what I always thought, she killed the other one without thought, but with Charlie she was not capable, and you can tell by her reaction, with the other one she didn't even blink.
@stevo6891Him being a geek is no execuse not to like him. Him also hiring them and telling them when they were allowed to work is also no excuse. They didn't like him from the moment they meet him because the lead red neck guy was jealous that someone he considered beneath him because he didn't think he was manly enough was now dating an old X of his. I wish the roles were reversed tbh. After finding out about James Marsden defending Brian Peck. I can’t look at him the same. He’s a real villain or a villain apologist.
He didn't notice him getting up, picking up the bear trap, or walking up behind him... if the gun was empty... why would he take his attention off a guy he was about to kill?
She was SA - she couldn’t fight him, he’s huge compared to her, so when he finished taking it from her, he was p/off that she didn’t want to be with him again, so he let his dirt-ball friend take it from her also 😠
Go see the original. This is total rubbish. The original with Dustin Hofmann and Susan George is far superior. They should never redo a classic,it always end up rubbish

It's all fun and games until someone puts a bear trap on your head.
"Sorry about the bear trap Charlie. It's just the way we do things around here!" As Charlie was dying, David should have taunted him, "Lee surrendered to Grant, na na na na na!!"
LOL
To this day I am still shocked how they used the Bear Trap! Absolutely one of my favorite kills!
David said that shotgun might be empty but this bear traps fully loaded
That dude went from 100% health to 0 health real fast
Cutscene QTE fail equals insta-death. Didn't press the right button to dodge.
More like he went from 100 health to 20 health with a -2 heath per second for 10 seconds bleeding debuff
4:11: Amy's shocked face is really impressive
Now that's how you kill a ruthless villain.
Babe and I were just enough into it to keep watching for an hour and a half, until the bear trap, at which point the movie was Oscar worthy.
I’m assuming babe is your cat’s name
She probably wanted a charlie
Bro watch the OG one
The old bear trap on the head trick, works wonders for headaches.
That’s the best kill scene I’ve ever seen.
Im in a minority that thinks this is better than the original

Cyclops is danger.
1:07-1:10-1:12: Amy's revenge against Norman
Shopping list:
1) New house.
2) Better girl.
Yup lmao
Omg! That was absolutely gruesome!
Oh snap!
How about that? He really did trap an animal.
It's kind of sick that his wife looked at him like he's a monster

Bear trap too much for the neck there, hey? Aww too bad. Maybe next time?
WHOA!!!
Looks like he was stupid for bringing a gun to a bear trap fight
It's called a Neck Trap
Me encanta alexander skarsgard
I have seen one thing: in David's face, there isn't any wound, despite being punched by Charlie several times
It's a film 😂
Saw traps be like:
How have his glasses not broken?
I guess he kept his "eye" open.😂
I feel like she got mad that he killed the blonde guy
After how much she was leading him on the whole movie, I wouldn't be surprised if she was 😅🙈
She liked getting a train ran into her

Fu@k Dude. That's gotta suck!!
The death of Tarzan
Why couldn't Charlie, and his friends, like David? David was only ever nice, generous, and lenient towards him/them.
Jealousy and resentment. Charlie saw David as a nerd who made it big, and married his girl.
@stevo6891 Based on what? Merely looks? Please elaborate.

That’s gonna hurt 🤣. The original is so much better.
His brother is Floki from Vikings.
The gun does a lot of clicking when moving
this film looks all levels of stupid, unlike the original..
I think I'll start Doomsday Traps Inc.
Movie is messed up but after watching the original I gotta say original is better

She looks sad her husband killed her x boyfriend
Her character seems to have feelings for him still.
Lord I can't stand the original or this one. The characters are just not flushed out or explained enough to understand their complete dynamics.
The movie with Dustin Hoffman was better.
They should never redo a classic. The original was definitely the best
BTW for the US audience, the UK original is better.
