- We just picked up the Bergara B14 Squared Crest, and we want to give you a quick look. If you're familiar with Bergara, you know the quality of their guns, and we're hoping the Bergara Crest is no different. Come with us as we show you the features - from the carbon fiber monocoque stock and the fluted Bergara precision barrel, to the Bergara performance trigger, and omni muzzle brake.
**The graphic I used has been updated - the 6.5 PRC Crest actually has a 20" barrel and a 3-round magazine.
If you have any questions about the Bergara B14 squared Crest, just ask in the comments below, and we'll be happy to try. Also comment below if you like the video and/or if you already have a Bergara Crest and have some input.

** The graphic in this video is incorrect. The 6.5 PRC actually has 20” barrel and a 3 round magazine! **
I have the B14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor, I don't hunt but I've taken out to 600 yards at steel gongs, love it.
Niiiice! That’s a sweet gun!
Just picked up a 6.5 prc crest for my son , for our elk hunt this December, cant wait to shoot it
YES!!! We have a “best load” video coming soon!!!
Savage 110. Les than half the $$ accu stock and accu trigger. Better buy in my book. My buddy wants mine. My son will pry it from my cold dead fingers. Love your channel. Keep em comin
We definitely need to get one of those. Is it threaded??
👏👏👏
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Looks like a quality firearm. I like the dual sling mounts up front as I bipod most of my rifles. Maybe someone will come out with a three shot flush magazine for it. Thanks for the video, be well and God bless.
A flush mag would be nice!
Don't own one, but everything I've heard about Bergara is positive. But seeing how I've purchased 4 new rifles in the last 2years, my butt may wind up in the dog house if i purchased #5 !! Thanks for another great review
Hahaha. I’d say you may want to wait a little bit. 😂
That is a real nice rifle!
It’s so nice!
Have the Crest in 6.5 CM. Very nice and accurate rifle.
It’s so sweet! I bet the CM is pretty awesome. Also, I saw your other comment but can’t find it now. I would be VERY interested to shoot a 22” 6.5PRC!
Pretty impressed with the accuracy of Bergara rifles i’ve shot off the bench
The seem to have something figured out. What have you shot?
FAQ page will provide ammunition suggestions for their accuracy testing.
Great short review. I'll be looking forward to the full review.
Thank you! I’ll check it out. Stay tuned 😊
Just got your request for the No Drill Cheek Rest. Will get that shipped out asap. Looking forward to your review of it.
Great! Thank you!
Very nice video! I’m getting the Bergera B14 HMR in .308
Thank you! That’s a SWEET gun, too!!! ruclips.net/video/PnxmMVxjSWg/видео.htmlsi=NQ4QS2h1KxX9cvAU
So with Bore-sighting, I should do 25 yards, then move out to 50 and then say 100yds?@@ReviewThisThing
@terencemccants6542 we did 25 first. Then if it’s a few inches (3-4) low, we went on out to 100.
Thank you very much! I'm enjoying your videos.@@ReviewThisThing
@terencemccants6542 we really appreciate that!
Nice guns
They sure are!
@@ReviewThisThing the gun show that's the new title 😀
😂😂😂 Well played.
I was just looking online and it looks like there are some other sites advertising the Crest 6.5 PRC with a 22" barrel but the Bergara USA website says 20" for the 6.5 PRC Crest. Wondering if they may have gotten some European Bergara Crest rifles as I have heard they have different barrel sizes over there.
Someone else said that. Maybe that’s the case.
Nice rifle
It’s soooo nice!
I have the 6.5 PRC 24” barrel my rifle likes the Hornady 147gr Match but you can’t hunt with that so your choices are Hornady 143 ELDX, Outfitter 130gr or the Berger 156gr but good luck finding them
Haha. Thanks!
I got the hmr in 6.5 prc like hornady 147s best but the 143 eldx shoot well to
Excellent! Thank you.
Another RUclipsr tested this rifle and had issues. The bolt would not open after firing. He said he was sending it back to Bergara to check it out.
Hmmm…we haven’t had that problem, thankfully. We’ve had it to the range a lot, too, sighting it in ruclips.net/video/rhtSkr8IDLA/видео.htmlsi=QlfvDE-dtDiuaPj_ and testing out loads. ruclips.net/video/cfNf9LPbhIg/видео.htmlsi=Tg7Xb8JPPH_5QKpO
I have the Crest in 7 PRC and mine shoots the factory 175 ELDX 1/2 MOA. However, the ammo was chrono'd at 2788 fps. That's disappointing because the box says 3000 fps. A 2-inch shorter barrel wouldn't lose 212 fps.
Hmmm…has it gotten any faster as you’ve shot it more?
@@ReviewThisThing I have at least 120 rounds down the barrel. I'll chrono it again this weekend. I'll let you know.
Please do.
I need this in 7prc
Doesn’t that sound amazing?!?
What Leupold mount do you have on your Bergara?
I’m pretty sure it’s the Backcountry.
I take it that is for a Remington 700?@@ReviewThisThing
Yes!
great review btw, really enjoyed it. @@ReviewThisThing
@@andrewjones5092 Thank you so much! We really appreciate you watching and for your kind words!
I wished they make 7 PRC in Crest!
THEY DO!
@@ReviewThisThing I haven't seen it anywhere!
@@JPEBeard They may be out of stock right now, but they do make them now. I can't link to their page on here, but it does!
@@ReviewThisThing I sure wish someone else makes the ammo besides Hornady for the 7 PRC. Makes me think twice about the 6.5 prc. But I already have a creedmoor. If they got a 300 PRC in Crest than that would make the decision easier for sure!
@JPEBeard haha. Yep. We’ve found 6 ish loads for the 6.5 PRC, so I’m sure the 7PRC won’t be far behind once the brass is available.
Awesome
Rifle but not enough caliber options and barrels are too short for my liking
They are starting to make their barrels shorter so they are. More suppressor friendly.
@@ReviewThisThing unfortunately that’s no good
For Us Canadians! Give me 24” barrels!
@99thunderwolf haha. Good point!
Have the Crest in .308
What do you think?
@@ReviewThisThing I’m deployed so I actually haven’t shot the rifle yet. I didn’t have a scope that I wanted to pair with the rifle at the time.
@erikdgreenlund thank you for your service. Let us know what you think when you shoot it.
My kinda girl…ol eastern Ky hillbilly and I got the 6.5prc waypoint in February and been handloadin ever since till I got this fn special police.308…lol..kinda wish I’d got bergara as I liked both but had shot 2 diff b14s and knew there worth…both sku’s of hornady factory prc shoot 1” the 143eldx bein a few feet faster…my best load is the 130tipped matchkings runnin 3220fps under 1” for hunting…now paper pluggin the 135 a tip with n560 bored an.19” bee hole that my wal mart calipers couldn’t really measure…lol..the 156a tips didn’t group as well but still 1”…and for this 24” fn .308…wow it’s even more accurate and I’ve got loads upto 3500fps which absolutely destroys jugs…1:12” twist 4 groove which is perfect for 168gmm which it likes best….thank ya sis….matt
153 a tip…not 156..lol. That’s bergers
I saw that Waypoint. It looks pretty sweet. It has a 24” barrel, right? Those are some fast speeds! Also sounds like some super impressive groups!!!
Got it!
@@ReviewThisThing 24” bsf carbon…right at 8lb dry. I’m used to 14lb beasts that set still..lol. I wanna get the lightest bullets and crank up the heat see where it goes. I put 4 130s on 1/2” mild steel goin 3200 and it almost went through at 200yrds! 59gr of powder is 10 to 15gr more than .308…
Heck yeah!!!
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
20 inch barrel
The pinned comment at the top corrects it 🤦🏼♀️
🤔🤔🤔
It’s a pretty one.
Лучше турецких?
Good question. I’m not sure. I’d bet they’re pretty similar.
