They can easily fix this by giving us sliders to adjust pass and run frequency as well as defensive aggressiveness but nah sim stats are tied to playbooks smfh
Blocking will still be broken, there will still be scripted INT’s, defensive coverage will still play dumb and the CPU QB will still go 50-50 with 600 yards every game.
I am the only one that thinks it would be cool if they added the players saying what there name is and what college they went to on the bottom of the screen like they do in really games

If it's overtime and the opposing team scores a TD and goes for two and doesn't get it, and you get down and score your own td, it will force you to go for two. That's not intelligent all you have to do is kick the extra point. But you are forced to go for two no matter what. Also long pass calls when it's 3rd and goal at the 5. No curls or cuts. It makes no sense
EA has created a study in the detrimental effects of a monopoly. I grew up playing Tecnobowl, all pro, old madden and Blitz, and while I am not a huge football fan, these games still have a place in my heart, this series has been UNPLAYABLE for YEARS. EA needs to lose this license.
You can tell the playbooks still dominate the Sim, because why are Caleb Williams rushing stats that high.. Because that's supposed to be Fields in that spot for that Madden Bears playbook

It’s basically all the same they just change the frequency of certain types of plays. The Ravens playbook runs the ball with the QB the most. The Chiefs playbook throws the ball the most.
Since this is Madden, just a reminder, if you have ea play you can demo this for free before buying. I think ea play is included with the middle tier for game pass as well. Edit: For "free."

From what I can tell, the biggest L for Madden 25 is that it's going to use the same busted team builder website idea that College Football uses. I'd rather it just be in the game.
My biggest complaint is about madden 25 and college football is the bridge between road to glory and superstar mode. You’re literally grinding for hours in road to glory so you can import your player to madden just so start completely over in super star mode. The only thing you can keep is the player appearance. All you college attitudes are gone, so you started over from complete scratch. If I knew that was the case I would have never started road to glory and just waited for madden to come out. Not to mention your awards hold not fucking wait. My guy won almost every award for being a quarterback so off the muscle I should be the number pick regardless of the NFL combine. The whole feels like a huge waste of time for me.
Importing a player has no benifits. I rushed for 3,000 fucking yards and 38 tds last season and I’m starting as a 68 overall? I wish your ratings were tailored to how you played in college

I’m never buying madden again. College football will always be better because there’s so much customizability. RTG, dynasty, CUT etc. plus it has that college football allure to it. Madden is literally the same thing year after year, there’s only so much you can do playing single player, online is most likely people running the same RUclips plays. People really only buy the game to say they have the game & play it max 10x all year whenever friends come over. People who play it regularly will be bored within 2 months.

Quite literally the worst game on the market. The advantage is so heavily skewed towards the CPU having the advantage that even having a stacked team gets absolutely cooked on both sides of the ball. CPU torches the defense while the defense absolutely destroys player controlled teams soon as the ball is snapped. Realistic is having on average 3-5 seconds in a pocket. Not fucking soon as the ball snaps that the entire oline lets the play get blown up.
