    I enjoyed how you worked through the issues. I am curious as to what happens if you would have accidentally knocked the support block over while you were messing with the bottom die. I assumed people blocked it so the ram or whatever it's called wouldn't slowly bleed off, but they way you said it got me thinking it might fall straight on the bottom die at full weight. Also are you using a tig welding electrode as a scratch awl? I mean it is tungsten I just never considered to use it in that way. Great video, thanks for sharing.

      I block the ram so I can replace the dies....
      I guess the main reason people block the ram is to save the dies when the machine is switched off. My machine is a 25 Kg, so the ram weighs 25 Kg and drops fairly rapidly when the machine is switched off - I certainly wouldn't want my hand in the way.
      If you had a 200 Kg ram, there must be even more need to block the ram, but I'm only guessing. I've only had the power hammer a few months so still learning about it.
      And yes, I'm using a TIG electrode as a scriber....
