    I was one of the extras in the bleachers and they filmed the dedication scene around midnight & then the fire trucks came down the street. It was one of the windiest & coldest nights I ever felt and on the corner of California & Kearney Streets there is nothing to break the wind.
    Everyone was ice cold, from the extras, to the cast, crew and firemen.

    Paul Newman and Steve McQueen played the best roles in the movie...By the way the fire was caused by cheapest electric materials...A movie to remember...A classic one.

    We may never love like this again
    Don't stop the flow
    We can't let go
    We may never love like this again
    And touch the sky
    Now we may try
    So while we here
    Let's give up all
    We listed the dreams inside us
    And set them free
    Oh, while we here
    Let's live a mark
    There's a candle in the dark
    It's here to guide us
    We may never love like this again
    But through the days
    Beyond the highs
    I'll see you
    Reaching out to hold me
    I don't know just
    Where or when
    Still I'm sure
    We'll love again, we'll love again
    We'll love again (we may never love like this again)
    We'll love again (we may never love like this again)
    We'll love again (we may never love like this again)
    We'll love again (we may never love like this again)

      It’s not beyond the highs, it’s “ beyond the haze”. It’s also “ Leave a mark “ and not live, and “ give our all “ not give up. I don’t understand as to how this award winning song gets so poorly transcribed online.

      @@ActiveAussie2024 yes I went to see it as a 13 year old when it was released (incredible big screen experience) The deaths of Robert Wagner and Susan Flannery in particular were harrowing to watch. Later that year I ended up even more terrified watching Jaws which was a massive hit (1975 was certainly a vintage year for being scared)

      nah the tower was built in the 70s using strong metal constucts not plastic fixtures and suspended floors like the WTC

    • @wns808
      @wns808 9 месяцев назад

      Had the fire not been put out the way it was, then the glass tower likely would’ve collapsed. Also, had the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center not collapsed, both towers would’ve had to be structurally assessed. In the cases of both the Glass and the Twin Towers, they probably would’ve had to be demolished due to the extensive fire and structural damages

    • @wns808
      @wns808 9 месяцев назад

      @@girlsdrinkfeck had the WTC’s Twin Towers been more robustly built (stronger/thicker floor beams instead of lightweight floor trusses, and a central core made of thick concrete instead of drywall), they would’ve likely stood longer, or even indefinitely and not only would’ve more people escaped and survived, the fires would have been put out. Both Towers suffered corner cutting during construction as did the Glass Tower and there are documentaries on how the Twins were built and how they fell on 9/11

    • @wns808
      @wns808 9 месяцев назад +1

      Had the fire continued to burn, then yes, the glass tower would’ve collapsed

      To me, it’s like comparing every real life shark attack ever to not being able to watch “Jaws”. I’ve always thought of TI as a survival/adventure story. Although it doesn’t pull any punches, the film doesn’t revel in watching the victims suffer.

    Tyler Perry Studios news: and yes, kids and adults and their parents from around the world that the front office of the 76ers, fans, and former teammates made a huge mistake by removing their former captain Ben Cinnamons of the Brooklyn Nets, key players Matisse Thybulle of the Portland Trail Blazers and Jaden Springer of the Boston Celtics with superstar Markelle Fultz of the Orlando Magic and never win the traded for Damion Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks, and the great bench player Mike Scott who now overseas to win this national title the NBA or NBL this seasons directors and filmmakers. and yes, today front office of the Philadelphia 76ers it going to very hard to get a great player like captain Ben Cinnamons who was born July 20th, 1996, near Melbourne, Australia. and yes, there is no doubt that this captain Ben Cinnamons the son of Dave Simmons who was born on April 13th, 1963, wasn't the only players in the NBA will not shoot this professional basketball when time to shoot this basketball like Dwight Powell of the Dallas Mavericks and Anthony Davis of the L. A. Lakers.
