Happy 60th Birthday November 4th 2021, dear Ralph Macchio!
In this interview, Ralph has just turned 30 and talks a little bit about how he got into acting, how he was as a kid in school, how he met his wife Phyllis and how he proposed. He also talks about expecting his first child and what kind of father he wants to be, and why he left Hollywood to go live back home on Long Island.

as someone born around 2005-2010 his old movies awakened me because i always thought the world before the 2000’s was still pretty dull and hard to face but watching and researching about the times i’ve realised there’s minimal changes from back then to now. I don’t know why i was so fascinated when i found out there were cameras with color in the 80’s but i’m glad i did. I basically envy many people born before the late 90’s because those times were absolutely magnificent! I’m not saying it for the whole world though. I don’t know why i commented this but thanks for reading !! :)

they mean it was his last time playing the karate KID. cobra kai wasnt made until 2018. where ralph stills plays daniel larusso but grown up. cobra kai is just a series where all the OGs of cobra kai are all older and have kids.

As far as I know, this show is not available to watch online anywhere except if people have uploaded videos themselves. I got to buy an unofficial dvd with an episode, I just can't get enough of his early days interviews and I know I'm not alone so I was excited to share it

"Corny garbage" - at least he's honest about it. No wonder The Karate Kid 2 & 3 suck so much if he had that kind of attitude when making them. It shows he didn't treat any of it seriously, and his karate is the real garbage, lol.

@@johnnycade.switchblade It was terrible, and he didn't even improve for the sequels. It was all a joke to him. He got the role solely because of his face. Typical Hollywood bullshit. Ralph's character just doesn't fit the themes.
