😂 😂 I’m not sure there would have been enough meat on that Ray even for a sarnie Matt😂 think I need to up my fishing game a bit🫣 hope your all well, be great to see you all back out having another go soon 🤞😎👍👍
Hey there Paul, I can’t believe I’ve never fished Minehead harbour before, such a nice easy place to fish. Those mini Tope never look real to me, like little rubber toys! 😂 cheers for watching buddy 😎👍👍
Thanks & high there👋 thoroughly enjoyed fishing there & will go back for another go. Although a low tide mark, I think you could hit the sand with a good cast at high water & would certainly be worth a go. Thanks for watching 😎👍👍
Hello buddy👊🏻 it certainly could have been worse, but a bit more weight wouldn’t have gone amiss either😂 it was a lovely day all the same though, thoroughly enjoyed myself. Cheers for watching pal & hope your well 😎👍👍
Cheers Chris, it really does mean a lot to receive such positive feedback & thanks again for the gift, it makes all the effort worthwhile! Hope to see you on the next one 😎👍👍
Just got home from work & saw this, that really is very kind of you once again, it’s really appreciated & I will put it towards the next trip. Thanks so much for your support 😊👍👍
Loved the random big block on the beach , looked almost man made !! Those boulders are ankle breakers for sure. Great to see a new venue. I thought only I caught small fish - until the next time !! Fished down Clevedon this week , bit of a mare to be honest , just a couple of small whiting on worm baits , whilst the bigger ray baits went untouched - Blonde rays are there , just not for me !! Having a birds nest on a practice cast first up set the tone for the day.
Hi Alan, don’t worry, as you have seen, I am also fully trained in the art of catching tiddlers!! Yes, I’d heard there are some good blondes starting to show, so there’s hope for us yet! I feel your pain, when a session starts with a birdie it can be a little soul destroying… thanks as always for watching, take care😎👍👍
nice one linc good effort mate cant grumble at a bit of fishing and a few fish... you just cant be disappointed with a cute little ray like that, keep on keeping on buddy👊
Cheers Ace buddy, I’ve had a run of rubbish trips lately, but as you say, it’s nice to catch a few even if they’re minute😂 appreciate you watching mate, we will cross paths one day 😎👍👍
Hi Rob, yes, it had that big bass vibe to the place, shame no decent rays, but I never seem to do much good with blue skies & sunshine. I didn’t see any fish come in on the charter boat while I was there, maybe it was just one of those days. Thanks as always for watching, take care 😎👍👍
@@gosnest hello there buddy, hopefully the fish will be carrying a bit more weight on the next one!! thanks for watching, I appreciate your support 😎👍👍
Hi buddy, yes, it certainly is a mark to keep you fit! I was lucky though that it did not start raining until I was back at the harbour, so I did have that to be thankful for! Hope your well & thanks for watching 😎👍👍
hello mate good to see you on the stomping grounds , lovely mark that it can produce some good fish linc, i was at the harbour for a couple of hours tonight 10.10.24 not much about tho , well done linc on sticking that rain out that place has its own climate lol. cheers linc
Cheers Tony, I reckon you did better than me😅 …in hindsight I wish I had some ragworm with me, only had frozen baits. Greenaleigh is such a nice place it certainly made the walk worthwhile even though the fishing was slow. Cheers for watching buddy 😎👍👍
Hi Dylan…. Was great to have a change of scenery, Ive been a bit disheartened with RUclips lately, had a few rubbish trips & taken a load of gear for cook-ups on a few occasion now which haven’t materialised and it can get a bit depressing🙈 I’m sure it gets a bit like that for everyone from time to time. Still, onwards & upwards!! I’ve been watching buddy, hopefully it will be a good Autumn & Winters fishing for everyone😊 & you’ll have your freezer full of bream to work your way through!take care matey👊🏻😎👍👍
Hi Lincoln What a great bit of weather lovely sunshine bud. That's one mark I've not fished in omg many years. We've had rain here bloody weather but I did manage to cut both front & back lawns. I think we are off on the 19th of October Bristol channel then all been well sometime in November off squidding hopefully that'll b great fun & sport catching squid on light gear apparently all you need it a 10ft spinning rod 10lb line squid jigs starlights. Did you have a look at those Seadra bait cool boxes 8litre ones mate. Ive now got one they look great plus I've got a spare tray coming in the post should b here tomorrow or Saturday. P.s that line tangle you had was probably a baby eel I hate the mess they make of your trace when you get one. Take care tight lines buddy 👍😎😀🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟
Hi Al, think your right buddy, almost certainly a little eel that made the mess😂 pesky things. At the moment I just use an insulated soft lunchbox type bag for bait, maybe Santa will bring me a Seadra one if I’m lucky! Saying that though, we had our first frost this morning so may not need one soon!😂 good to hear you have a couple of trips lined up, nice to have those to look forward to. Take care Al & thanks for watching buddy 😎👍👍
@@fishdisco3107Hi Mate yes it's always the very small eels that get your trace tangled up. Oh right sounds good. I've got a Coleman cool box plus a mustad cool bag. @@TheTangledAngler hi buddy, although not the easiest walk, I’ve been more done-in getting back from the Bridging camp or way past the teeth…once you round the point you can make your way along the top of the bank which is relatively even. I had a rubbish signal when I got there & Google maps wouldn’t load & I ended up setting up in slightly the wrong place as the tide had not receded enough to see the sand…in front of the rock fall & 2 big boulders is where the sand is first exposed.
