I used to sell cell phones for a living and I would recommend this phone because it has the best screen and speed for a budget phone. Most cheaper phones run so slow even using multiple apps but my A20 is running smooth and the clarity on screen looks like a premium phone. Hands down this is such a great option to not only pay less but look cool while doing it.

I got a Huawei sensa lte and it had 8 gbs for 30$ new and it was the first phone I had ever bought and it was pretty good
My father has one of these and I helped him set it up over Xmas and was very impressed.
He struggled with the fingerprint scanner and tbh, I've never been a fan of the rear mounted type, but luckily the face unlock works fine.
I'm tempted, but more so by the A51 + also the fact that you can hide the notches! 😉

@@seemakhattak8702 when you use fingerprint and/or face unlock, you use your pin/password/pattern as a "safeguard" for when you can't use fingerprint. You basically use them at the same time (hope this makes sense😂😂)
Just got this phone the other day from metro and it's amazing not a lot of phones at this price point that include so many features and the AMOLED display is incredible 👌🏾💯🔥🔥

I just bought one 2 days ago. I had an overheating iPhone 6s+, and I've been an apple person for 15 years. I just cannot keep buying $1000 phones. So I bought this because of the brand name. Good phone. Good software. Updates. Etc. I wanted a phone that had a newer battery and upgraded processor. I'm 55. I am basic. I bought it unlocked and switched my sim card. Done. I have nobody to impress so, this works great for the price. The Samsung looks and feels great. Once the newness wears off , it's a freaking phone at a cheap price versus apple

Got mines Oct. 2019 for Bday . Still is awesome and one of the best phones I've had in a long time . I've owned flagship phones .This phone holds up . I'm happy will upgrade A50 or A71 but not time soon.

Going from a iphone 6s to this. I really like my galaxy phone. The battery life last a great while. I enjoy my phone
I just bought this (yesterday) because I wanted the big screen for diary use.
It is unlocked, so I can use my current SIM card.
And because I am 'old school' I use it for the calendar and phone calls. I don't want to store my whole life on the phone, I just want a phone.
But nowadays, the phone is the smallest detain on a 'cell phone'. People would be lost without their phone because they have everything connected through it.

I got an a20 but it's not great. It's kinda laggy and the screen is blurry it also takes a while to load stuff and it won't read my SIM card. The fingerprint scanner doesn't work either. I got it when it came out
@@Jack-ny4vu i also got the A20 around the time it came out but i don't have those problems. The fingerprint sensor used to be a hit or miss but i just deleted the saved print and redid it and now it works.
My girl has one,and it's great. Camera isn't great in low light obviously,but everything else is good. I'd say for the price it's probably going for now,it's an amazing value.

I watched so many videos of you talking about this phone so I just went out and bought one even if I have a Samsung S20 ultra and a IPhone 11 pro max and I just use it to watch RUclips because where i live internet is quite slow so high resolution is not a option here, and this phone is quite lighter than the other 2 I own.

Is the Samsung Galaxy A20 worth buying on the 20th of 2020 if you're in your 20s and only have 20 to spend?
I have had mine for approximately 5 months. I am happy with it! However I use Facebook Live to stream church services twice a week and the video is very unstable. It flashes I'm and out like it's trying to focus or in a dark room. My pastors IPhone works perfectly on Facebook as well as my very cheap LG K20. I'm very dissatisfied with that part. Other than that I would rate it at about 7 1/2 outa 10. Thank you for the voice! I very much enjoy your reviews!! Peace

I heard the A21 lacks an AMOLED screen. That alone would be enough for me to buy this instead, even with a gig less of RAM and a worse camera. Forget the goiod-looking colors and contrast, the most important thing is that it makes dark mode really effective at preserving battery life by turning off the individual pixels in the "perfect black" areas.
I bought mine in October 2020. It is a pretty solid phone for now.

Love the new A series and M series. But for the software updates for sure they will get android 10 and 11 too because all the old A and J series got 3 android versions so they should do the same. Btw I have the M30s and I love it. But shame that it does not come with a case inside the box, it got some minor scratches because of normal use

@@martyhunt7425 I'm not in the Us. Here in Lebanon it works great. No problems at all. I bought it from the Samsung store so it should be unlocked. But I am not sure about the bands if they work correctly in the US
When you said this phone is under $200 in cost, I wish I paid $240 for my damn A20, but I am also through Spectrum Mobile so maybe that is why I paid what I paid for my A20
I just paid $73 for the phone from Walmart.
I have been using the A20 since October 2019 and it has not failed once.
Mine has and it didn't last long. It turned into an iPhone 3 after 10 months

I was a late model J7 owner and moved to iPhone 6 .. well I am back and bought the a20 today as I missed my Samsung ! my contacts moved right over from apple just logging into my G-Mail account .. impressive
My wife is using this phone on boost Mobile it's got good battery life great screen pretty good phone the security updates suck though.

Just picked this phone up, moving up from the A10e and it works very well! For the price I can't say I've had a better phone. It's probably one of the best phones in the sub $200 category. Especially coming factory unlocked

Hey there Kevin! Honestly I have to say this, I'm currently using a Huawei Mate SE. I was thinking of buying this phone but 32GB of ROM and 3GB of RAM wasn't enough for me lol! To tell the truth I take a lot of pictures, selfies and download a lot of music, so I went to buy a phone (again, Huawei Mate SE) with now 64GB of ROM with 4GB of RAM. Honestly so people say 4GB isn't enough but I don't even play a lot of games on here so it shouldn't matter lol!! And by the way Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day!! 😁😁🇱🇷🇱🇷👌🏾👌🏾
I have this but with a big problem. The screen has ghost touches like stick drift on crack you can't do anything at all because it doesn't take touch inputs and opens random apps what should I do?

I can switch to Metro PCS and get either the Samsung A20 or the MotoG7 for Free by switching carriers according to their website. The Samsung looks like the better screen but the Moto has a better processor and more of a Pure Android OS without the Bloatware. I Like That! The thing is my now 7-8 yr old HTC still works just fine though it has no more space for any Apps in it's paltry 8Gb. Then again the phone is mainly a phone to me and I just don't do all that other Stuff with it that most people do. Guess I'll just keep sitting on the fence for a while longer.
The signal on the Motorola g7 power sucks lol I have it. I like it because I can play Call of duty all day without the battery dying.
Only one downside, they dont make waterproof cases for it.
I got the A20 unlocked from Best Buy in late 2019 & its worked great since then til like 3 or 4 days ago when it stopped making/receiving calls. Probably something to do with not being on my carriers "phones that will work on network after 3G shutdown" list & they basically told me i need to get a new phone 🤦♀️

The way you kept talking about the wide-angle feature on the camera, made me wonder why don't you just turn the phone to landscape mode and get more stuff in your frame to take a picture? Is it safe to assume that the camera on this phone can take pictures in landscape mode?

One thing is nice with this mid range model it has NFC technology. That's usually the first option to got to cut costs.

I was gonna get this back in october but the guy in the boost store wanted way too much after the activation and all that so I got a discount and had to go with the a10e instead, still a great deal though ! Just as good. P.s, you look like a young john legere 😂

This phone is freaking awesome I love my a20 I was skeptical at first cause of all the negative reviews it got but I don't understand cause all the things they've listed is minor things like the screen quality it's really not bad. You'll eventually get used to the screen unless YOU MUST have a full HD screen then I reccomend the more premium a series that will cost you more Mula! It looks pretty great with the AMOLED screen and makes 720p look like a lite 1080p 🤷🏾♀️ Moral of the story is always stick to your own opinion this phone is friggin' awesome for the price and comes with a lot of good features like a pro mode camera a double camera the selfie cam is okay isn't the greatest. The cute themes and fonts how speedy it is. I'll see how this baby does after a month or two but I hope it'll stay snippy for a while but then again if it acts up I can always but a new one from carriers. So people seem to forget that mid rangers are called mid rangers for a reason they come with some of the specs the flagships does. This phone is amazing and even my Grandma's Samsung a10e is good I was gonna get that one but I have to have a fingerprint reader as most of my important apps need it so this model was a must. But I got my phone refurbished from StraightTalk for $60 and the people complaining or giving bad reviews must be boomer's and people that expect the latest and greatest from a mid-ranger when it's a freaking budget device. For as much as I paid for it I'm definitely not going to complain this phone is still amazing. So yes,snatch this beauty up in 2020 before it gets sold out! If you need a back up, a trap phone,music phone, or you're poor like me and can only afford budget phones GET IT!!! And never trust the antutu or geek bench scores or the tap test they're inaccurate and every phone is different from each other even if it's the same model!

The phone has decent battery life, and I don't like that it doesn't have a fingerscanner. I'm currently getting a new phone because the speaker got wet, and stopped working. I fell into a river for 15 seconds, and that happened. Water is also under the selfie lense.
