This is so random, I was just reading about Zhanguo, because I really liked the new IKI version that this publisher did, so I looked at their other games and saw this one, and hadn't heard much about it at all. I was planning on watching a few reviews and playthroughs today to see if I'd like it, so I load up RUclips, and the latest video in my Subscriptions is you talking about Zhanguo.

This is high on my wishlist. It's one of the more expensive games out there though so hesitating a bit to get it. Especially since the second edition did not really seem to get much coverage at all from any of the "big" channels making it hard to make an informed decision.
Perhaps playing Lacerta games has stretched Jen's head!
The original is a top 10 game for me, and the new version is improved. ❤
The experience is better when you know what you are doing and the cards you get are usefull. I prefer the originals art direction, the new version is not a looker unfortunally.
