Flower actually appeared for the first time in BFDIA during the 4th episode when Ruby recovered her but this theory is good.

Another piece of evidence is that the prize wheel at some point had an option saying "Recover Woody." I could see this being tne prize for BFDIA 12, causing Woody to make his return.
They would probably use Woody for an type of challenge I doubt he would host/co-host for being scared of everything and I doubt he would be a contestant since he will get a massive development in BFB so it just doesn't make sense developing him this season
Since the timeline goes from season one to season 5, and woody was seen in IDFB, woody may be recovered in BFDIA

I would love if the challange was "put the free failed debuters on the WTF" and they had to put Flower, Bubble and Woody back in it (maybe we can even throw Nonexisty on the mix if we knew how to prove he is there).
Maybe Woody appearing in the BFDIA 4 thumbnail could foreshadow him joining BFDIA

I feel that the writers would want to bring Bubble back first, which could happen in this episode as a member of Freesmart is going to be eliminated, so they could bring Bubble back just to not feel so small, then Woody would be brought back a few episodes later, but how he will I don’t know.
I wish. Woody should to return!! His eliminations was really unfair and he 1 of my Fav character
Two fun facts!
One: in I think episode 4 Flower was recovered by Ruby by accident, thus marking her return.
Two: Also related to BFDIA 4, if you look closer at the thumbnail, you can see Woody and it in the Top Right corner-ish area!
the thumbnail thing was because someone mentioned woody had never been on a thumbnail (the only character like that at the time) so they just added him in

First of all it was BFDIA 2 not 4 and wasn't that just a piece of wood I mean its clear they some times used Woody's asset for "wood things" such as the wood firey used to block dream island entrace in BFDI 25
