Man can teach a master class! I learned a great deal in 10 minutes.
Impressed with his method of getting free soldering rods👍
Reusing and remanufacturing parts to be as good or better than original. This creates work for people, a healthier environment, and happy customers. Proud to share this planet with these men.
Adapt, improvise, overcome..... Expert level! And reusing the solder is just genius!
Soldier
So this is where my refurbished EBay radiator came from...
Great skills but I would like to see a pressure test
England had skilled craftsmen like this, now nearly all the skill,s have been lost to big manufacturers and machines. Very clever and very skilled man.
You know I was lucky to learn from guys like this 20 years ago now I appreciate so much what thy passed on to me
Indians are happy for you!
@@strobo24our ancestors probably taught the Indians how to become skilled craftsmen
You still have good craftsman but they restore fighter planes and build Morgans and stuff. But agree stuff like this is a dying art. Though I am quite ashamed for you I've heard Bentleys aren't even made by hand anymore. Im wondering what's the point really. Not that I could ever afford one.
Craftsmen and tradesmen are a dying breed here in the states too. Great job and video
real mechanic , more than a parts changer
just wow! no modern tools. just pure skills! 👏👏👏👏💪
Nice to see he manages to make it fit and delivers a better than original unit
Veru nick work
Except he's holding the pieces together at the end cause he didn't mark them and he's not sure how it goes back together!
No music is needed the art is in your work. Shop sounds are much better! Thank you for your sharing your amazing talent!
What a amazing job he done with basic tools. Imagine what he could do with modern power tools. 👌
actually considering the type of precision he needs, he’s all set.
He cant Do shit with modern power tools
Imagine if he just had a proper shop instead of working on the side walk.
Imagine if he goin to mit.
He'd be able to print one on a 3D printer! LOL!
People in India are true geniuses. They make the best out of a bad situation.
It's Pakistan not India this video can be found on pakistani truck channel
@@playsimple3823 thanks, I assumed it was India, Pakistani are smart and resourceful like the people in india.

Hats off, great job, but i was expecting a definning, depiping, repiping refinning job.
I’m a plumber and now I realize how much I take for granted
I’m a mechanic and I agree with you.
Amazing job as he's covered in lead solder and paste where's Joe talking about air filtration for this guy
The results say it all, a true craftsman.

Impresionante, desde España, felicitaciones!!!
He does a good job rebuilding the radiator, why can't he build a work bench?
Living in poverty for some they know nothing else . It’s normal for them, they are probably comfortable working like that
They pray, cook, eat almost do everything that way.
There are no tables no chairs
A real man... much respect from USA 🇺🇸

😁😁😁
All interesting and amazing. Why not buy a core in the correct size? Great skill and craftsmanship required to modify. Do they suffer from leakage a lot? Excellent video thanks for posting. Edward
Don't believe the correct "size" is readily available there. These people are an inspiration using what they have and being thankful.
I admire them for their skills in using what little they have access to, but you're right, there is no way that will stand up to pressure for very long.
Good Worker ,good Job 👌👍
He taught me something!,that's clever.
This is one of the most amazing videos ive ever seen, impressive work.
Ha!...Bet you never watched MacGyver....
I had a 2007 Ford Explorer that needed a new radiator with every oil change, I wish I new of this Brother then.
Stop using tap water as coolant.
@@ian74747 Understood about not using tap water. After so many fails of the radiator my concerns were then for the environment. I had a '97 Explorer prior to the '07 that had very few if any problems and had a '94 prior to that. My assesment which I think is valid is that I don't want be seen in another Ford. I'm done. Apparently there are a few other viewers that have had similar problems. The car companies continue to re-engineer and re-engineer until after perfecting a design, they eventually F' it up.
Beautiful work!
This is called best use of available resources, good job ,
Thank you so much for your compliment
Definitely
Lost art ! Great craftsman
I worked in a sheet metal shop in '86 (New Hampshire, USA) and watched the master build a shell around a radiator core for a stanley steamer. It all needed to handle pressure and he had to resolder many of the tubes in the core. He used the same kind of soldering irons, flux and had a spool of silver solder. This core is simpler but the techniques are similar
He did not use flux. He applied muriatic acid diluted with water with an improvised paintbrush at 7:32 on the surface he was gonna solder. The soldering iron is made from a copper bar hammered into the shape of a small ax.
My father used to do this among other things. My father did that soldering lead recycling too. But he used the gap between two bricks on the shop floor to mold the molten lead into a rod, the same result as the one in the vid.
My mans got Skillz 👏🏻
excellent! additional idea to those who are interested working w/ this DIY.Thanks who did this effort ..

BUENOS MECANICO.
TODO LOS TRABAJOS
QUE E VISTO DE CALIDAD.
RecorIng an old brass radiator. Used to be shops in every small town doing that.
Now the radiators have plastic tanks and aluminum cores (no more soldering/brazing) and cheaper to replace than recore or patch a tank.
Just got one for my 89 Toyota pickup
Copper and brass!
$475 😳

Good Amazing job !!! 😳👍👍👍👍👍

I'm not saying it something typically indian, but everytime I see a indian person, I expect that with basic tools, he or she would build a rocket ship. The way he works, is learnt in years, maybe from an old worker, just like him, and even in exact the same place.
