The SRX team are the main characters of the series. There is no way they wouldn't show up, especially if there is a new upgrade. Kyousuke on the other hand... he's reached the end of his story. KInda sad, Excellen was my second favorite character after Ryuusei.
From Terada himself, we now know the official romanization is BANPReEOTH, as opposed to the before assumed name. ReEOTH being a reference to a plot point OG Gaiden that was a plan to improve the EOT used in SRX. Cool stuff!
Only bad thing about this is that when you get Aya back she takes up some of Mai's lines during attacks. While before Mai and Ryusei interact a lot more during attacks.
@@karry299 I do. Even if you don't know japan you can still spot the differrent between the line. Paying attention to small details like this makes thing more interesting Then again, nothing stopping you from learning. Even till now
It's assumed that they're last-minute improvements to the R-Series' replacements, to allow them to function as the completed Banpreios, if not as seperate units.
The only way you beat Ideon is catching it by surprise (getting the Ideon Gun and Black Hole gun out of the way), attacking fast enough he can't pull Full Ide Missiles or Ideon Sword, and using an attack powerful enough to get it out of our dimension - so basically Neo Granzon, Valcazard, or any Gurren Lagann past Arc.
The reason why i think Banpreios and SRX is awesome, is because they can kick ass real good, and are highly mobile (at least for a super robot. super robots are usually slow and gets hit all the time)
The all-new for 2005 Banpreios seats three Psychodrivers and one Normal comfortably, and with the optional R-GUN attachment allows you to lay waste to your enemies in style! ;-)
Terada said he couldn't fit the Masoukishin cast in the OG series for plot reasons BEFORE, but EX is the first game that the other 3 Masoukishin ever existed in, and it is first game that could be used to ever get them into the OG series so 2nd OG is actually the first OG game they could ever be in and they probably will be.
Valcazard says "Fuck you", teams up with Neo Granzon to punch a hole in the universe, and throws Kaiser through it. Then everyone goes in and beats him up while he's surprised.
Well it's supposed to be. But they had to rush to complete it, so they put the peices together and disabled the transforming mode. So while the pieces of the new R-Series are there, they cant' separate.
@deceitninja Incorrect. The Banpreios is the combined form of the ART-series (the successors to R-1,2, and 3). In @3 they couldn't get it all working right because development was rushed so the transformation was locked in place. It is still a combined unit, but it is hard-wired to be unable to decombine.
That's a Banpresto Original. It's from a series called SRX that was created by Banpresto specifically for the Super Robot Wars video games and its spinoffs. Normally it's 3 people piloting it, but this is an upgrade from the robot I'm thinking of and from the videos I saw it's more like 4... and it can combine with R-GUN Powered, so it's 5 for certain attacks.
Hmm? Kyosuke's story is over, that's why you will be glad to hear that Kyosuke is now a "vet" in 2nd OG and will be joining the game a bit later than Ryusei and Mai. Though sadly the rest of the SRX team wont be joining the party until late in the game, so you can't make the SRX for a while. I think they said they're doing that for balancing reasons and they wanted to highlght the R-1 and Art-1 more and have the R-2 and R-3 appear for a stage or so than leave again until they finally join.
Well, seeing as the SRX is essentially Banpresto's mascot (hell, they turned their LOGO into the SRX =p), and considering the development of the ART-1 in Original Generations Gaiden, it seems MORE than likely that the Banpreios will show up in the inevitable OG3. Which, in essence, means shiny shiny pretty robot explodyness =p
Anybody knows what he Ryusei says during the Nendou Bousou Ken - slash part? "Cho Hisastsu! Tejou Tegura... Nendou Busou Ken... HISAGIRI!!!" Been hearing this phrase even when i watched the OG OVA... Wonder what it means...
Last minute improvements. Only downside is that it can't separate and I wouldn't consider that a downside in any way, shape or form, since you'll really only want Rai and Aya to support an already powerful mech rather than downgrade to three mediocre ones.
Maby Mio to she was pretty cool. I think the bigger problem is the way the game trolls people who were actualy looking forward to using them. 17 stages of EX plot (witch has seemingly nothing to do with the rest of the game) then they all bugger off untill towards the end.
OGGs Neo Granzon though was overall weak sauce in comparison to the Neo Granzon of Alpha Gaiden for the reason you just stated. But I'm going to still hold that SRW 3 Neo Granzon as one of the hardest versions of it
zas9210 The Banpreios doesn't combine or de-combine, as far as I can tell. It's just a single unit formed from the combined damaged SRX...or something like that.
well if you think about it was an improve after SRX was totally defeated.... but if you look at the body you can tell the bottom is still the R3 hard to tell if the other 2 is R2 and R1 or R blade.... hmph..........
StriderHiryu120 Ok, what happened is this. At the end of Alpha 1, the SRX project is dismantled. R1 and 2 are destroyed, the R3 being spared because Mao basically bought it off the government and the R Gun because Viletta saved it and ran away. (canonically, you save Mai, but Viletta came with her.) This is because Ingram was suspected of leaking secrets to the Balmarians (since he was mind controlled and all.) After Alpha Gaiden, R3 and R Gun get dismantled, but the SRX team isn't sent to jail like what was originally intended. However, offscreen they begin work on something to surpass the SRX In Alpha 3, the Balmarians and the STMC start attacking again, and they hurriedly attempt to both rebuild the SRX and build the R machines. They fail to get the SRX working in time (it is destroyed), but they managed to build Banprios. As a time and cost cutting measure, though, it was assembled in fully combined state and unable to decombine, which was also to increase efficiency (SRX could only combine ten times in Alpha 1).
Hmmmmm...To make it's appearance al you'd need to do is ROM hack the SRX, and as for the attacks.........I haven't gotten that far as to figure those out.
But does the Colossal Blade have a cool ass animation where it assembles, thrusts through the enemy, separates WHILE INSIDE THE ENEMY, then slices through again? Nope, not even close.
Sadly you're right, the lame Masoukishin cast got in 2ndOGs. Shame, they're just taking up space. OG only needs Masaki, Lune, the cats, Cybuster, Valsion, Shuu, and his (Neo) Granzon. We're still years off still the Banpreios gets in the OG verse but at least the ART-1 is getting a ton of spotlight with Mai piloting it still. No idea if she still retains her combo, love love rumble, attack with Ryusei or not thouh.
So the official name for this is "Banpreios" I guess its original, but Why cant they just call it something closer to SRX so fans would understand it is the next more powered up version of SRX?
This is a great video, but it kind of bugs me that MX doesn't have those annoying black screens in between attacks and Alpha 3 does, even though @3 was released after MX. x_x When you compare them to MX, they really seem choppy.
The SRX team are the main characters of the series. There is no way they wouldn't show up, especially if there is a new upgrade. Kyousuke on the other hand... he's reached the end of his story. KInda sad, Excellen was my second favorite character after Ryuusei.

Aaaand nobody gives a fuck, since 99% of SRW players dont know Japanese.
karry299 Nothing stopping you from learning.
@@karry299 I do. Even if you don't know japan you can still spot the differrent between the line. Paying attention to small details like this makes thing more interesting

This thing will be a beast in OGs when it gets in.
It's assumed that they're last-minute improvements to the R-Series' replacements, to allow them to function as the completed Banpreios, if not as seperate units.
Banpreios will look amazing when it reaches the OG series.

Dis Lev is the Power source that turned the SRX into the DiSRX in divine wars it also turned the werkbau into the Dis-Astranagant in this game
Because this is future of the OGs series.
The all-new for 2005 Banpreios seats three Psychodrivers and one Normal comfortably, and with the optional R-GUN attachment allows you to lay waste to your enemies in style! ;-)
Banpreios Altered is pretty awesome, but my favorite super-overkill Banpresto Original is the Valzacard.

As if Ryuusei isn't the personification of the otaku in everyone that plays these games.
In both @1 and @3 Ryusei is more or less the main character by the end.
This is why. Nobody steals the show more awesomely than the SRX team.
Anyone get the Virtua Fighter reference at 6:14?
He yelled Banzai and damn, Banpreios looks way better then the SRX.
They let Ryusei name it.
Well it's supposed to be.
But they had to rush to complete it, so they put the peices together and disabled the transforming mode. So while the pieces of the new R-Series are there, they cant' separate.
Yes thats what i mean ryusei since banpresto only has to license theirs which probably doesnt cost them much
@deceitninja
Incorrect. The Banpreios is the combined form of the ART-series (the successors to R-1,2, and 3). In @3 they couldn't get it all working right because development was rushed so the transformation was locked in place. It is still a combined unit, but it is hard-wired to be unable to decombine.
That was over a year ago and the original release date was October 29, 2011, but they postponed to November 29. 2012

after many year,28/10/21 will come back at srw30
RIP
Banpreios kicks ass.
Man i wished the anime wouldve continued
Moreover, Ryuusei's theme, 'Everywhere You Go,' is a remix of the Banpresto jingle
From what i can understand, banpreios is the full combo of SRX+R-gun.
True, it was kind of OP to blast every boss with the HTB cannon.
Well, seeing as the SRX is essentially Banpresto's mascot (hell, they turned their LOGO into the SRX =p), and considering the development of the ART-1 in Original Generations Gaiden, it seems MORE than likely that the Banpreios will show up in the inevitable OG3. this would be awesome in OG3 if that game every comes out
he said "Reitei Ruach-sama banzai!", which meant "Long live the Spirit Emperor Ruach!"
wow ~ then the attacks are pretty powerful
@SazukeEX1 it may happen in The Second OG is released in October 29, 2011.
zanger would surely be proud of that nendo sword T_T
I eagerly await the day the Banpreios gets the OGs treatment.
who knew srw could be any better judgin by the name banpresio this si bandais mascot mech
if i remember correctly what they did instead was have R-3's cockpit converted to allow for 2 seats, rather than mai having her own R unit.
Sounds really uncomfortable, since the original R-3 was so cramped that Aya basically had to stand.
@Tsukasamacleod They said it's going to have SRW D, SRW @3 storyline in the Second OG and more.
Its SRX Altered Banpreios. You get it in the game since SRX is destroyed.
Pretty silly, but Banpreios=Banpresto. Looks like the guys at Banpresto found a Robotic mascot, lol.
Ergo, the witch that caused Mai to be a villian for the first game.
@supersaninpikachu oh yeah, i forgot elzam... other than huckebeins and the ausenseiter, whatelse does elzam pilot? i only know the ones in OGS
Anybody knows what he Ryusei says during the Nendou Bousou Ken - slash part? "Cho Hisastsu! Tejou Tegura... Nendou Busou Ken... HISAGIRI!!!"
Been hearing this phrase even when i watched the OG OVA... Wonder what it means...
Well, 2ndOG was the fist in the main titles; they do appear in spinoffs though.
It means someting like: Heaven and Earth Psychic Matchless Sword. OPEN SWORD! The rest I dunno....
Last minute improvements. Only downside is that it can't separate and I wouldn't consider that a downside in any way, shape or form, since you'll really only want Rai and Aya to support an already powerful mech rather than downgrade to three mediocre ones.

17 stages of EX plot (witch has seemingly nothing to do with the rest of the game) then they all bugger off untill towards the end.
But it works much better that way since it only takes up one slot instead of three at the team select screen.
The Witch Dances Seductively
Well i like banpreios but it still has to take a huge level grinding to stand near Valzacard and its dimension breaking powers
Man, I wish they include the Valstork family, The excellence Lightning and Eternal, ShinRyukouoh and ShinKouryuoh
The banpreios can now hold 4 cockpits
@razgrizghost1 A Guarlion, and I think he had a Lion briefly. And a Gespenst with no weapons in OG1.
Banpreios's first form is in, I don't know who Dis Rev is, but DaiRaiOh doesn't seem to be there.
Feh. thats a toothpick compared to his colossal blade
Was that Terada who said that, and besides, even if the Masou Kishin characters aren't in the main OG Games, their stories are now part of OG canon.
@beamknight
becuase it is
OGGs Neo Granzon though was overall weak sauce in comparison to the Neo Granzon of Alpha Gaiden for the reason you just stated. But I'm going to still hold that SRW 3 Neo Granzon as one of the hardest versions of it
at around 3:09 the guy souns like he is saying bye bye or bandai
yeah it does a little, thats a great anime anyway
I think he's combined from upgraded versions of the R-mechs.
But they only showed one of the different speeches, sadly. The only difference is the dynamic kill in this video.
Hell, on that note the Banpreios's eyes look like Bampresto's logo. Go figure O_O.
why the fuck is the Banpreios SO awesome?
Hmmmmm....You have a point there...
^^;;;
Why does Banpreios give off such a badass aura?
zas9210 The Banpreios doesn't combine or de-combine, as far as I can tell. It's just a single unit formed from the combined damaged SRX...or something like that.

Really, what did you expect from a robot whose head is the logo of the company that made this game?
Poor Masaki.
hey thanks for calling me proper and also anyway i didn't study any japanese so i didn't really know ok
But does the Colossal Blade have a cool ass animation where it assembles, thrusts through the enemy, separates WHILE INSIDE THE ENEMY, then slices through again? Nope, not even close.
I take it you haven't seen the dynamic kill version of EXA Nova Shoot Over.
sounds like banpresto
4 slots, Mai's inside it too
kinda late but love the bgm on the second half of the vid anyone know the name
If you want to know more about him then go here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SRX_Altered_Banpreios
but how would there be last minute improvments if the R-1, R-2, and R-3 were destroyed? Did they repair them?
This SRX cannot be separated right...???
Sadly you're right, the lame Masoukishin cast got in 2ndOGs. Shame, they're just taking up space. OG only needs Masaki, Lune, the cats, Cybuster, Valsion, Shuu, and his (Neo) Granzon.

IIRC it's real name is "SRX Altered" but ryusei nicknamed it into Banpreios
Actually I really like the name "banpreios" :
Would anyone who knew anything about SRX and its crew need the name's help? It should be obvious to anyone who already knew anything about it.
no problem
Not like it's that big of a deal since they have great graphics, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed.
is it me... or does the banpreios warp away after the attack with the sword?
How would meioh granzon be any more challenging if you had a FAR more powerful mech on your side?
what is more powerful the nedo busoken or the
kaiser nova(for me the kaiser nova)
So, Mai is in the banpreios too? she in Aya's cockpit or is there an aditional unit glued to it?
1:43-1:51 Did I just hear Godannar's theme? .....
This is a great video, but it kind of bugs me that MX doesn't have those annoying black screens in between attacks and Alpha 3 does, even though @3 was released after MX. x_x When you compare them to MX, they really seem choppy.
Why change something that works? That stance is cool and it makes Banpreios look even taller. Well he is 75 meters, so he is tall anyway^^'
Banpreios is awsome but I still prefer the Valzacard a little.
is the banpreios still combined from the r-seiries mechs?
BANDAI should make banpreios DX or model kit
Actually, November 29, 2012.
You must mean strictly Banpresto characters
Nope because of the licensing. Unlike the the original generations which are strictly banpreios created characters.
