A CDC video titled 'How to interpret a covid test' was also a nightmare. It spent four minutes telling viewers what to do if they test positive but never explained how to know if one is positive or negative, basically how the 'C' and 'T' work. It amazes me how supposedly smart people who know how to do fancy animation and probably have a certificate in public relations can bungle a simple message so badly.
I first test positive on 9/13 and the T line was super bright. I took this test today, the T line is REALLY REALLY faint. It is less than the results in video. There is absolutely no color and I had to really strain to see the line. This is crazy.
My employee called off 2 days straight but was seen by a supervisor partying when he was supposed to be sick. I’m trying to figure out how he faked his test or did he use someone else’s 🤷♀️
what if your employee didnt fake it and he is an idiot who is partying while he is sick and infecting other people. That would be even worse, i have heard of people who know they have covid and going to parties. Its people like him who get others sick, who have worse immune systems
This happened to me when I initially found out I had COVID; this was also when my symptoms were the most severe. My second line was very dark and it appeared within seconds. I think it just means that I had a very high concentration of the virus in my sample and of course that I was positive.
What does is mean when nothing shows up or just a faint "C" line shows up. I have had this happen twice in a row now. iHealth fails to cover this experience in this video.
These tests do not indicate degree of infection, and a faint T line is allegedly a positive result. Or the test was defective. But no Covid antigen test would indicate severity or lack thereof.
How do you Feel? Do you have symptoms at All? Why did you take the test in the first Place? You cannot get medical advice with so little information. CVS Antihistamine Allergy Medicine was good enough for me but I had my third round with covid, all mild and I have antibodies detected in blood.
I guess I just became positive to the party! All I have is a stuffy head, figured it was from the elevation of the last two flights I was on yesterday. Anyway, a cough maybe once an hour or so, no hard breathing and no fever and I can smell. Weird
So you can know that you have it and take steps to prevent others who may be at risk from getting it. That is if you care about others. If not, and you only care about yourself, why bother.
Prayers to anyone taking this test today.
its me

Thank you!
im positive today. 2nd time getting it even tho im vaccinated
@@MsCeCe-mn7mz😂 you can still get and give covid even if you’re vaccinated my sister is vaccinated and she got and gave covid to her bf

Title should be: “How to READ your Covid-19 test.”
It says step 5 of it.
It's almost as if it is, right in the title.
@@PeteS528 mmm, OK (grumpily)
@@StevenBanks123 Sorry you never learned to read, that's mighty unfortunate.
@@PeteS528 I tried for a gently humorous assent to your correctness and get another slap-down.

It's not "crazy," it's a poor quality test.
It mean you are recovering and antigen concentration getting low
What does it mean if the C line is barely visible while the T line is clearly visible.
Look at the video. If it's barely visible you're still positive.

I barely put in the drops and both lines showed almost immediately. What does that mean?

I opened the prefilled tube and closed it immediately again, 15 minutes before inserting the swab. Can results be incorrect?
Please note that the test is invalid if there are no lines or there is a single T line on the card.
What if the Control line is very faint and hard to see?
If there is just a C line, you are negative. If there is a C line and a T line, you are positive.
So IF it's very faint, do you continue to isolate? Mine's been very faint for 4 days.

Does a faint T line mean that the infection is ending?
Great question

What if the c line is faint
If you are super big on COVID this video is on your level!
Why you people need to lie so much? Covid is real and the test is useful in identifying it.
When added the drops it shows a shadow from right to left and no line after 15 minutes. I did it 3 times and the same on the 3. No line.
A crappy test.
Great job america. Sends me the test, but not the things I needed to take a sample. Amazing.
ME TOO!! 3 drops of what?

After the C line appears making a negative test.
The C line remains months later, it’s just important to read it in 15 minutes.

this title is so weird lol, should be simple like "iHealth How To Use The Tester" or something
