Evan Felker is one of my country music heroes. Not just his singing but his songwriting. I mean damn, nobody writes a song like Mr. Felker. Dude has a way with those words that'll just break your heart.
I love and respect the hell outa Evan's song writing, I have a suggestion. Since you like Evan's writing, check out Robert Earl Keen. In my opinion this is the fellow that started the Texas country music genre.

I saw them for the first time less than two months ago. Drove 4 1/2 hours to Macon, GA to see them and Red Clay Strays. Was well worth the 9 hours of driving. Already planning to see them again in August...in WV. Can hardly wait. Turnpike is a very special group of guys. Can't even explain what their music does to me; other than it makes me very happy! ❤
