The riffs the fiddle player pulls off from 4:17 - 4:23 are ridiculous. Lots of people can make the violin an emotional instrument but he can make it soulful even while playing at a quick tempo. These guys are a great secret.
I just saw them last Saturday and man are you right, I think Kyle Nix (the fiddle player) is the best musician I've ever seen. And that's saying something, because the whole band is full of incredibly talented pickers.
@@TheWoogie2this is spot on y’all. I have watched them several times now very recently and he’s a world class fiddle player and you can’t change my mind. He one of the few musicians who can play EXACTLY like an album. Like doesn’t miss a beat. Check out the pay no rent live at the pace studios and just listen to the fiddle. One of the best fiddle performances I’ve heard.
Everytime I hear this song, I’m so grateful that I’m not living it out. There was a rough patch when I was dating my wife and I almost left. But during that confusing time, I listened to this song on a road trip. I realized that it would be true for me if I didn’t make things right. Thank you for that boys. It really means the world to me..
Evan words cut through the heart like the sharpest knife to the softest stick of butter. He ndnhis boys are a national treasure on the highest of musical levels. You're brought to your knees at the mere sound of the gorgeous fiddle as it lays the groundwork for lyrical genius so powerful you could cry.
Just discovered this song on Spotify and fell in love with it. And I see they're coming to my town next week! ........opening for Miranda Lambert. Hmmmmm. Can't decide if it's worth it.
Peckerhead's is a great name for a nightclub and they need to get a tradename or trademark or something on that there nightclub name or somebody will go full bore "Urbane Cowboy" on their rear ends or something ... 7/7/2020 SRC
You’ll never seen them in a venue that small ever again.. happy for Evan and the boys.

Man what I'd do to be there.
I would come to America just to hear them
@@billiedoll4560 Yep. The only reason I'd go to the US is for the country music since no one tours in Canada :/

His voice reminds of Robert Earl Keen. Awesome song, love this red dirt music we got down here in Texas.
P.S. To hell with that Nashville trash.
Bit of George Strait in there too.
That cat is actually wearing an STP cap! Love it.
