They saw his back destroyed along with his game and his marriage and gave up on him. Not a soul aside from his truest of true fans had the belief that he could be back on top. The ridiculous amount of mental fortitude this man has is immeasurable to climb back to his throne where he belongs. That warrior spirit just gives me chills.

Watching this victory is honestly one of the best moments of my life. I have loved golf since 2011-ish, and never thought I'd see Tiger win a major. It honestly felt like my love for golf was complete once that final putt was holed. After watching him go through all of his challenges and the agony of the 2015(?) Masters (the one where I was sure he'd win but that penalty drop killed him), it was just pure relief for us watching and of course Tiger himself. What a great tournament and moment in sport.

I'll never forget that Sunday...Even here, watching it at home, it almost was an eerie feeling...When he made the turn headed to "Amen Corner" I told both my son & my parents that if he can just get thru those 3 tough holes without making a huge mistake that he could possibly win this thing.
After Molinari hit the water it started getting more & more clear...BUT, players like Brooks Koepka were just not going away...They were gonna make him earn it...When Koepka missed his putt on 18 then it was obvious...Just don't screw it up by trying to do too much...Make a decent tee shot, take your second shot and aim for the middle of the green...Then two putt for the win.
Whether folks were Tiger Woods fans or not, it just seemed like he had the entire world cheering him on, in hopes of "seeing something special"...And special it was!!!...And to see him share that moment with his family & friends made it even more special...My Dad said "Besides the US Hockey team beating the Russians, this will likely go down as the 2nd greatest moment in sports history"...I think he was 100% correct.
Side Note - When I say "2nd greatest moment in sports history", I don't mean to diminish the first day that sports started back after the 9/11 attacks...That moment was so much more than a sports moment...It was a moment that we as a country needed BADLY!!!...It helped us get back to our "normalcy", and helped show us all that we Americans most certainly were never gonna be defeated.
My apologies for such a long comment...Thanks for letting me share.

Keopka and DJ were walking off the 13th tee and would have looked at Finau and Molinari heading for the drop zone and Woods on the bridge. Imagine that mentally on you at that point!

I wish I was in Augusta to witness at moment. Tiger has been an inspiration to me during the 90s when I was doing very gd in Pool in my country and just recently turned to Golfing.

If this car crash spell the end of Tiger winning so be it. The GREATEST golfer of all time, Tiger Woods! Thank you for the memories and what you have done to this game of golf. There is no way golf would be as popular as it is without you. You are the GOAT of any sport through my eyes.
