the version of this song never fails to make me shed a tear, oh man.
I really really like this version more than the official one. It's so sublime, his voice, the lyrics... it makes you wanna cry...
First time I'm hearing it, really enjoyed the guitar solo too :'( but yes very raw emotion coming through in this recording

I didn't think I could like this song more than I already did. Then I heard this version. Amazing.
I felt the same way. I love the "oh"s at the end. Wonderful, simple arrangement with so much -- maybe "too much" -- emotion. Gorgeous.

Love this version. Been listening to this take long before the studio cut came to my ears. And when I finally listened to the studio cut, it paled tremendously. This version has the utter raw emotion dripping through every single word that the studio lacks. This is easily my favourite JB song. And in my top 10 songs of all time. Complete genius.

Sweet, deep, sad. A favorite although I can't listen to it often. heart breaks all over again...
The admiration and love I have for Jeff buckley is indescribable. He always comes along after a bad or tough day and when I’m in need of inspiration.
Also a coincidence that he and I have the same moon and rising m. I checked out of curiosity. May Jeff forever live through his music and in our hearts and minds. 🧘🏽♀️☀️

I discovered first this alternate version then the original during the early 2000s. This is raw emotion, full of melancholy. I don't know but this version always makes me shed a tear.

@0LittlemissLola A lot of people's singing style is similar to Jeff's. When he was alive and after he died tons of people found inspiration in him, and still do. Jeff's range was greater than Robert's, though. Jeff voice was way more developed too, in my honest opinion. Robert's got a great voice and some good music, but he'll probably never live down Twilight. This is coming from a male who hasn't seen any Twilight movie also.
@CargadosCarajos well dude there is a hollywood movie just confirmed recently that will be in the making very soon. Robert Pattinson wanted the part badly but Reeve Carney will play Jeff which is awesome cos he looks very similar to Jeff and he is an amazing singer as well check out Mr Green Vol 1. :)
