    La has no trainsit system large enough, it woud be a huge mess. The city is car dependent! Metrolink metro and amtrak is not set up for crowd use of this size. Their equpiment is from the 90s traffic for the regular commuters would be gridlock. California drags thier feet when it comes to improvements. That highspeed rail looks good on paper, still havent seen anything moving about with that.

    Reading the comments, people were saying exactly the same here in France before the Paris Olympics. The city/country is a mess, it's unrealistic, public transport will be saturated, french people don't care/want the olympics, security will be too much of an issue dealing with terrorist threats and russian hackers, how can we even keep the tourists safe, and so on... I know because that's exactly what I was thinking.
    LA will be ready and amazing, this is a great occasion for the city to rethink and reorganise its public transport.

      Put that's not a solution to LA's need for mass transit that's a Handoff to wave the problem for the next mayor. To facilitate the need for mass transit you would need a bus every 2 min for a train every 15-30 this depends on the area but reguardless LA needs real reliable mass transit not excuses.

    • @mataisgood9046
      @mataisgood9046 21 день назад +1

      You're forgetting the fact that Public Transit is for better for the majority less traffic on LA's Highways and roads, and less pollution the money is benefiting way more than families but its benefiting everyone, plus it would be permanent infostructure that would benefit the city and county way farther into the future than just the Olympics.

    • @mataisgood9046
      @mataisgood9046 21 день назад

      Most of it is being used to organize planning committees and prepare for a shutdown of a couple of roads for cars and preparing LAPD for the events.
