FANTASTIC! We’ve all IMPATIENTLY SHOVED fabric through and then spent much more time correcting! 😢. Pressing cloth. 👏👏👏

I have always ironed tricky fabrics on the wrong side and might even use a damp pressing cloth (cotton).

Excellent tips, especially the "paper under the seam allowance before pressing". I use a couple of long narrow envelopes, each about 1050 x240 mm in size. I glue the flaps down and use the non-flap side under the seam allowance. It's saved me a lot of unpleasant work removing the "railroad tracks" from the right side of the seam.

Very good tips & reminders. I found out how great the edge foot was to help me top stitch. Also love the stitch in ditch foot. I almost always forget to turn speed down after rewinding bobbins.

If you mean engaging the clutch again, then yes, after over 40 years I still forget to do this every so often. I get reminded very quickly when the handwheel whirls away like a jet engine fan.

Great tips, Julia...thank you. Do you have any videos on altering a pattern for specific measurements? I sew for my grandson who is always in between sizes, and I've just been winging it with the patterns, but it would help greatly to know how to alter them properly. Thank you! ❤ (And the dress you made for this video is beautiful and looks wonderful on you.)

I don’t have videos on pattern alterations yet, but I do plan on making some in the future!🤗

So if I buy your course by September, 6th, it will only cost me $48.30 rather than $69? Once purchased? Do I own the information? Do I get to keep it forever? Or does the information expire after awhile?

After purchasing the course, you’d get access to course material for a whole year and can work through material at your own pace🤗 The course has commenting option, so you can ask questions about the material, too. And yes, until September 7th the course is -30% off with a code at the checkout🤗
