Excellent course today! I'm a patron with a lifetime membership, who's been participating for nearly three years. However, I took a four month break until this morning. Some comments and suggestions. I agree with whoever made the suggestion that you demonstrate the entire form at the beginning and then break it up into pieces. Just three suggestions. 1. Go through that entire form more slowly. No need to make comments, we are studying movements and we know you'll explain later. But please go very slow. 2. When doing the instructional phase, please maintain the fluidity of the movements without breaking things into several "subparts." When you do the repeated staccato movements, it gets hard for us to mimic the targeted movements because when you repeat an early part of it over and over again, we become more fatigued, off-balanced, or out of position as we stop and wait until we see where we're going to end up. (Examples are @ 6:19; 12:44; 26:38) 3. Personally, I don't see the need to continue to say, "if you have problems with you [knees, back, shoulders...] throughout the instruction. You are always so good in saying that at the beginning of the lesson, along with the disclosure that comes up in writing at the forefront. The videos are short enough that I'm sure that viewers have already been given the warning. However, since your son does a nice technical job of posting the videos, so if necessary, you might alternatively flashing a very brief warning of "move carefully" signal or symbol in one discreet corner of the video (but I don't think it's necessary). You could always pre-record a five second "omnibus" head shot of your saying the precaution before your instruction for all your videos. That saves you time and affords a great consistent precaution for students who might be new. Kurt, my comments are suggestions from a student who's benefited greatly from your expertise and who's come back with a fresh perspective and deeper appreciation of your instruction and the improvements brought about by your use of RUclips hosting and your new emphasis on instructional fluidity. Thank you!
