Good job. The Varistor (MOV) was protecting the circuit from the overvoltage spikes from your grid, untill it had enough and failed short and burned. That is how they roll.
I work at a battery recyclers. I estimate that 90 to 95% of all lithium tool battery packs which we receive have perfectly good lithium cells. It is the BMS that always seems to develop a fault, and it happens clear across the board from Dyson batteries to Dewalt to Ryobi. The brand we seldom find is Metabo. Metabo probably uses better components in its BMS.
Hi Dahen. I got a makita hammer drill and it was seriously sparking from the brushes. I checked the electrical connections and there was no problem. I changed the brushes and brush holders still sparking. I ordered and mounted a new armature and it's still sparking. Do you got any idea ? What can be the problem ? (i checked the stator also it gives exact same value on both sides when i measured with multimeter on lowest resistance. )
I like your video very much. But I have to point out heat conducting silicon paste should be applied on the rectifier module. While I am sure the HONGFA7098 thing is only silicon rubber which can fix but not conduct heat. Anyway for such a small power it should not be a big problem.
here I added two more mosfets to a blue 10 ah pwm solar controller connected to a 150 w solar panel to charge a bank of 04 60 ah automotive batteries, the controller used to heat up a lot, now it's a little cold.
I gave a 6 port charger and input section blown. I can't recognize some resistor and zener values because of burnt components. Any idea where to get schematic or anybody have one that can help me with values?
Where r u sir,I'm waiting your video armeture winding.if you upload 12 mm wood router armeture winding video I will wait for the video and how can I am contuct with you
Since you classify this as a "simple repair", I'd like to see something from your hard category! Well done sir!

I was thinking the same thing regarding the silicone... I would have used thermal paste.
what is this capacitor 6115M? i can't find it in google.

what was broken on the board? 😳😳❓❓
And Thank you for your answer.
just a cut between the bridge diode and NTC
@@zana3587 Oh, I thought it was a MOV.

Smart charge to repair Ryobi charger
Hello. what happened here friend? I didn't see any damaged components, what happened?
the pcb lines between capacitor and the mosfet are broken cause a spark and pcb melt
Are you OK??? No videos in 5 months.
A little concerned about why that lead burnt like that. Looks like a fire hazard.
Давно видео не публикуете, надеюсь у Вас все в порядке?
Cure silicone rubber!!!??? The charger will not last long!
its epoxy
@@zana3587 why did you use that and not thermal paste?

My friend...where are you?!?

thank you sir
it's ryobi but the pcb build quality is no better than an ordinary chinese charger...
no idea about the quality
We want only parkside!!! 🤣🤣
hhhhh ok, i try

Отличная работа. Перед вскрытием, показывай, что отключил неисправный аппарат от высокого напряжения.
Спасибо, сэр
