- After many attempts, i finally completed all stages of Safe Haven without using the flamethrower, or the tracker, or hiding, and with aggressive alien mod installed. Playing as Ransome.
Some of my numerous failed attempts thrown in at the end. I nearly gave up...

That this phenomenal game wasn't more successful and didn't get at least one sequel may be gaming's biggest ever miss.
Its because of the idiots without any good taste, like IGN which love more the Minecraft piece of shit for example. The game is a masterpiece and it deserves a sequel. I would say more but I prefer not to be more agressive because idiots are sensitive creatures.
Unfortunately a lot of fake gamers don’t like games where you have to think to survive.
Happy to tell you = It's on the way! :)
Good news bro
It's weird. I'm a huge fan of the film franchise (well, the two first at least), and I love the general lore. Bought the game recently on a 75% sale, plus a bunch of DLCs. Love the atmosphere, the graphics and lighting is astonishing, and it fits so well with the original film(s)..
..However I can manage like 5-10 minutes of game time before I go "Yeah, no, need a break!". It's the heavy footsteps that fucks me up.
It takes mad balls to play this game especially with the Aggressive Alien mod activated, no flamethrower, or no hiding. I would be crawling the whole time, let alone have the flamethrower ready at all times.
The outro man…. You got me emo after such a harrowing, awesome gameplay… oh never mind you’re getting killed a bunch 😂😂😂 spoke too soon :p Awesome video!!!!!
Nah it's just running to me for a hug. look how happy it is 52:00. Lol
@@galaxytraveler5779 😂😂 oh you're right. Nevermind bro nevermind
That standing on the ladder in 17:30 gave me heebie jeebies XD
After buying this game ive basically stopped buying videogames……..simply because this is the only game anyone will ever need….
Same here, I stopped playing other games all together, Im keep coming back to this -it’s the best game in history
Cool gameplay I like it a lot! Better than me when I tried safe haven.
"aggressive alien mod" what, the original alien wanted to sit down for a cup of tea and a polite chat? xD
When I played this level for the first time, the last few missions really startled me.
Watching pros doing there work is fascinating.
Try the Insane AI mod. Basiclaly does the same thing as Aggressive Alien, but those little low cover exploits go bye-bye and the Alien is given the intelligence of a human player and the peripheral vision of Neji Hyuga from Naruto.
Edit: I forgot to mention it also gains the hearing of a fucking Fennec Fox.
I heard about crashing issues with that one. That is the only reason i haven't tried it yet.
Excellent job!
this must be the last test for SOG……
IGN crapped it out with its score, problem was they played it on hard and didn’t like it, but I agree best alien game we’ve ever had and after the miserable abortion that was colonial marines this was so very welcome, although easily the most nerve spreading game I’ve played
Don’t play with fire..or you die..
Did you add the music as a personal touch for the recording at the end of the game? Or was it part of the DLC? 😄
Hi, Tom. I added that as a personal touch. I may have been a bit emotional when I finally completed the challenge. It really was quite the endeavor for me. 😂
@@galaxytraveler5779 hahahah 😂, great touch! Hats off for finishing it, it’s a shame you never got to finish axel’s lost contact dlc on aggressive mod, maybe you’ll give it another try in the future! You’re the only one I saw here on YT that would have the balls to even attempt any of these DLC on this bonkers alien mod, and it’s very entertaining to watch! I jolted out of my seat and closed my eyes like a kid at some points, while watching, lmao 😂
Like I said, I hope you’ll try Lost Contact again in the future, and, why not, the other DLC’s on this difficulty. On the condition you don’t end up in the hospital again, I was sorry to hear that! 🤗
@@tomruzsa-voicu9762 Haha you heard about that, huh? Could have been a coincidence, but i really don't think so.
I will be attempting that challenge again, once i finish my main A:I project i am working on now.
@@galaxytraveler5779 what A:I project are you on now?
@@tomruzsa-voicu9762 It's a film based on the inhabitants of Sevastopol trying to survive any way they can.
It consists of different events that unfold with some surprises thanks to mods and a lot of patience.
The focus is on visual story telling with the best camera work i could achieve, as well as the amazing game soundtrack and audio logs, since i am limited with dialogue, to make the experience as immersive as possible.
Can you make it look easy
23:21: Cut?
Absolutely not, there were no cuts in this. It was all one attempt... well dozens of attempts before i finally got this one.
There are weird kind of animations like that going into vents. If you played the game, you probably know.
(I forgot im not logged in as GalaxyTraveler. I am the publisher, this is just my second account)
👍👍👍💪👌
Use your motion tracker
Yes, thanks. For this particular playthrough, i was trying to complete it without using the motion tracker.
@@galaxytraveler5779 oh
@@galaxytraveler5779 maybe I'll try attempting This
@@rydogjkjr3325 It's doable, but not the Lost Contact DLC. I tried completing it with the same rules over the course of several days and it landed me in the hospital with stress related health issues. It's pretty much impossible, especially in the last couple stages when you have facehuggers and the alien to deal with. (the noise hitting the facehugger attracts the alien)
@@galaxytraveler5779 dude don't sacrifice your mental and physical health just for a speedrun
im surprised how poorly their engine handles collisions. when your character, or the ai collide with boxes, cans ,etc. the physics are nearly zeroG, or maybe .5G....its not an easy thing to nail, but id expect better form SEGA/20th Fox. they used their own engine
I mean you are in space technically
The game did release around the PS3 Era so you were bound to see some age lol
The mod is just the best but still too easy fro me
