Cillian Murphy should definitely get more leading roles. He's so talented that he could win Oscars every year. I've seen many great actors, but hardly any as good as him. The characters he played, like Oppenheimer and Thomas Shelby, weren't just ordinary people. They were really complicated. Bringing them to life so amazingly deserves more than just an Oscar.

I have watched every single Chris Nolan’s films ever since I was a kid. His movies has been a part of my life and his movies are the things that helped me go through tough times and give me a new dream. Oppenheimer was just staggering. It was amazing, I do not have the words to describe my feelings watching that movie especially seeing how much improvements Cillian has gotten through and I was so glad that Cillian is finally getting the attention he deserves too. The cinematography, the storyline, the dialogues, the characters, the music, the camera angles, position, lightings, editing, the script, and everything else was just amazing. I have read all the lines of the transcript and I have already rewatched the movie 5 times to better understand it. I also am reading the American Prometheus which is amazing. After my first time watching Oppenheimer, the thoughts and questions I had after watching it stayed with me for weeks, which led me to watch it again and again. I was amazed, it was breathtaking. The cinematography was beautiful and it couldn’t have been better. The fact that Nolan didn’t use cgi for the trinity test scene just made me more inspired. Four stars is not enough for this movie, neither are any stars and ratings in this world. This movie is out of this world and it is a masterpiece.
As a movie lover who is crazy for movies, I watched the whole thing live and watched it over again. I have waited for the moment for wonderful people like Cillian, RDJ, Chris, Emma, Jennifer and Hoyte to get the attention they've long deserved, and to see them finally get it was a dream come true. I want to congratulate them.
Cillian, I have been a life-long fan of yours, ever since I was a little child. Seeing you in small parts of great movies or lead parts of small movies was sad. I always knew that you deserved the big stage, the awards, the attention you deserve. Your acting was incredible from the start of your career, your stage plays, and your first few movies, I could see your potential, even if I was young. I started supporting you from then. I have been by your side, through difficulties, and successes, cheering for you, crying for you, and always being there for you, no matter what they say. I knew that you would eventually get the attention, and the awards you deserve, and I was waiting for it. Today was the day. Today, your career has drawn a path in this industry, a path that will last forever, and I congratulate you. You have deserved it. Growing up, I watched your acting through bad times, when I was down, and you were the reason why I could be the happy child I deserved to be. I want to thank you for that. You have always been there for me. I could also always relate to your actions and your personality as they were similar to mine. That meant a lot for me as a child, as a teenager who was insecure about herself. Maybe it isn't an exaggeration to say that you have saved me and that you are the reason why I am still here, I am still passionate, and I am the person I am today. Seeing you get better and develop into an amazing actor could never be better, it was the best thing that has happened in my life. Universal is the perfect studio for Nolan . Oppenheimer has made cinema history. American history and how the world changed with Oppenheimer. My friends at the movie theater told me Nolan is planning to make a horror movie. I hope he does it for universal.
It was this video who introduced me to 'Destroyer of Worlds' for the first time, 1 week before the movie release. I still remember the goosebumps hearing this masterpiece.

@@bbash578 Absolutely, this year was tough with so many fantastic movies and actors, some of which might have won Oscars in the past, not even getting nominated. The competition was fierce. But let's talk about "Oppenheimer." From the get-go, it was obvious that this movie was a standout. And Cillian Murphy's performance? Outstanding doesn't even begin to cover it. He completely nailed the complexity of Oppenheimer, bringing out all those intricate emotions flawlessly. Trust me, it's not an exaggeration to say it's some of the best acting I've seen in years. Perhaps the greatest acting of the century.

Amazing film, and really cements Nolan as one of the best filmmakers of the last few decades, his body of work is astonishing.
I think his other legacy will be the impact he has (and has started to have) on future film makers. We need intelligent, skilled directors more than ever.
Cillian Murphy did his assignment so well to the point that this film has received so many distinguishable accolades. I would have to say, the cast truly deserved it.

Seen this movie three times in three different theatres and all offered different sound during movie!! One with the crackling sound during the "Experiment" was superb!! I wish to watch in that same quality once again!! Nolan's movies are always interesting as hell!!

I have 'Oppenheimer' on Google TV and Movie. It was in 1983, "GANDHI" won 11 Academy Awards including BEST PICTURE. And back in 1966, "A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS" With 4 Academy Awards including BEST PICTURE.
" Ghandi " didn't win 11 academy awards. It had 11 nominations and won 8.
I am beyond happy for Oppenheimer's sweep at the Oscars this week. It deserved every single win. This is truly among the all time greatest Best Picture winners full stop. Oppenheimer in every regard is a MASTERPIECE. I loved every single minute of this movie. It was Nolan's most compelling film in his filmography.
loking back after everything that this movie has achieved in both critics wise and box office wise , this opening look still gives me the same joy and chills as the first time i watched it a few days before global release. What a picture!!!

It may seem like a lie, but there are countries that actually tested atomic bombs in inhabited cities. And with two types of nuclear bombs.
Some people defend the use of the atomic bomb, but if its use was justified when victory was imminent, it would also justify the use of the atomic bomb by Russia, which was in even more trouble.

I wanted to love Oppenheimer, but it's was just okay. Sound was 10/10, cinematography was 10/10, but the way the story was told was very slow and way too much talking and information.
