I really prefer the Watch_Dogs 1 profiler look, so it’s great that they have that. I wish Aiden had more of his old baton takedowns though.
During my time playing I saw one of his og takedowns, witch was the one we’re he repeatedly hits the enemy on the head with his baton
Edit: I just Finished the game and I saw that aiden has 2 more og takedowns. Both of them are with shotguns , assault rifle or smg’s. One of them is when he shoots them in the stomach and as they’re falling down on their back he aims again and shoots them in the face. The second one in when he shoots them in the stomach but this time he kneels and catches them, shoots upwards at the chin and then pushes them off

Well, I guess those two answers are different places of play so it sounds like 3-6 hours.
This DLC is actually really good, often times better than the Main Game itself. Hopefully they add all the gadgets and upgrades to the main game like the spiderbot being able to fly

This DLC sounds more exiting than the actual game. I have yet to buy the game cause the play as any NPC didn't grab me. Now I might pick it up on sale.
I played it and honestly it’s a really good game, if you only look at the graphics. It’s usually hard for me to be disappointed for a game but I am a really big fan of the watch dogs games but you’re right the any NPC playable thing isn’t cool. You can’t get attached to a main character and that’s really sad. That’s why having Aiden is really cool I think.

I disagree. I found myself getting attached to plenty of the characters that I came across. Perhaps the concept just wasn't for you. That okay, but that doesn't make the game bad.

To me it was like playing Pokemon. It's not for everyone but at least for me I viewed the AI as me and the people as my Pokemon collection. Old man used silenced mp5! It was super effective!

Only issues I have with Aiden is his sprinting. It feels too slow and feels like he isn't running all the way and it's not cause of his age. And his inner turtleneck I equip for him clips through the back and his sleeves under the coat don't match what you wear

I honestly think the watch dogs legion main story it self wasn’t bad, it was just the mediocre voice acting that brought it down. Something that they really improved in this dlc. Hopefully for the next game they spend more time making the voice acting feel more unique and alive.

@@Zeddem Watchdogs legion wasn't that bad. Its just that it wasn't the destined Watchdogs 3. It was more like an inbetween. The lack of character development is what made the game bad.
Yup, the "play as anyone" mechanic was cool, but maybe Ubisoft should leave that mechanic as an exclusively online thing.
Hopefully the next game they just have 1 main character.
When I played the free trial I didnt enjoy the character switching at all, they all felt generic and hollow gimmicky

Fun fact aiden is hands down the best character in the game.
Also through wrench is not as strong his grenade launcher can use the betray hack on humans (this is most likley a bug and will get patched)

Seeing Aiden Pierce return as a playable character makes me wish he was the protagonist of Watch Dogs 2 & Legion.
The funny thing is he's been for hire since we last saw him years ago so he's been running and gunning around the world and we got to experience none of it. Waste of a storyline

Just to let everyone know, i started replaying the story and using aiden. The voice lines fit extremely well and make the game significantly more enjoyable. I cant confirm for wrench but im sure that its gunna be a laugh. Definitely would advise this expansion for anyone contemplating getting it. Hopefully this helps

Short answer, yes and no.
For yes: Story is okay.
It has returning characters (some aren't fully presented but their va's came to voice them), Wrench's humour, abilities and cool soundtracks.
For no:
Weapons you get don't transfer to original game (perhaps only 1 or 2. Electric grenade launcher does), BUT you get bunch of other weapons that others like hitman and spy have.
Different on both characters.
The side missions are poorly done, repetitive and weird because Aiden came for one reason. To save Jackson. Not to save people.
Everyone forgot about The Fox and they talk to him like he's just another citizen who is there to help on their tasks.
All you're doing is revisiting same locations doing minorly different boring tasks from Online Tactical Ops and coop missions.
There's this brawling club where Aiden is fighting the woman which both looked awkward and off for someone like Aiden to participate with fists and have broken cutscene/animation.
The skill tree is awful. It would've been best if they made skill tree like they did in Bad Blood.
Not from the beginning, but half unlocked.
Like cloaking the enemies and hacking the drones. Instead you have to deal bunch of missions involved with them before those side missions are unlocked to unlock those skills.
My advice: Get it along with game on half sale.
Anyone else amazed at how aiden and wrench are literal walking arsenals in campaign and online🤯
This DLC is so good! As a HUGE fan of the first two games, I've pretty much been smiling the entire time while playing through Bloodline.
I really hope Ubisoft will make the next game something like how they did this DLC
This DLC is awesome I like that people refer to him by name. Which gives life to the character unlike the campaign. Also making you feel more invested in the character.

Their facial animation tech took such massive step back its mind boggling. Look at Aiden's face from 2014 and here.. looks generations apart..in the other way round

Honestly, the biggest thing about playing through the dlc, while Aiden and Wrench are awesome to have again, of course. But I got the biggest grin when you play a mission as Wrench, working alongside Markus in a Devon Von Devon mission.
Let’s hope they add NG+ so we can enjoy the main game with him

The season pass was on sale for only about 17 bucks and it includes WD 1 Complete Edition a few days ago. It's the first DLC i ever bought in my life and im glad i did it.
I hope they make it where if another character has Aidens clothing equipped they also walk with their hands in their pockets.

This dlc is better than the main game, the best part about this is that you can play bloodline without buying legion
I thought legion was a bit meh, the voices didnt really fit the characters and it was a bit fun but was meh overall, but bloodline is amazing, great to see aiden and wrench again its sooo much fun

Wrench was the golden goose of this dlc but man, no new achievements is a bummer

At first I hated the fact that they brought back Aiden, Wrench and Jackson. I thought it was just Ubisoft going "Oh hey, looks at these characters you know and love! We'll just make a basic story where they become best friends!!"
But holy shit, I was wrong. Seeing Jackson and Aiden's relationship grow. Especially THAT mission! Holy fuck. Definitely enjoyed this more then the main campaign.

I got half way through the main story of WDL but life distracted me lol. I’ve never touched the online so this has got me hyped to jump back in and also try online
All I wanted after WD2 was a game to play as Wrench and now it’s finally here I couldn’t be happier especially with the man Aiden himself finally returning
Absolutely loved the DLC. Everything about it was like a mix of WD1 and WD2 which they amazingly manage to put together so well in legion.
Now some of the things I would like to see added to multiplayer from the dlc are the following:
The robot solider security, about 1 or 2 in almost all the major Albion locations/important locations aside from that they made me feel like there was an actual threat to going guns blazing and hiding behind a single cover. Multi-drone, I loved the fact of not having to actually use it for take down or an actual weapon it functioned as a tool and played it's part perfectly for scouting and simple hacking. The variety of colored contract/Albion units, they actually made me feel like I was running into a proper large variety of soldiers with ranks and color specifics, in fact this would probably make people want to recruit their favorite colored Albion units if it was in multiplayer. Lastly a fix to Aiden slow mo in multiplayer, it sometimes doesn't work there, I've also noticed it in the dlc but that's not often just on occasion.

I really like playing Legion as Wrench he says things that the other characters didn't When he noticed a getaway driver and of course other different playable characters it makes Legion feel more alive and way more enjoyable :)
People think its all ubis fault for what happened to watch dogs legion but they try a new idea that might have changed many games to come but it didnt turn out well i feel like if they stuck with a normal story without the play as any one this game would have been great

I actually like the idea of playing as anyone yeah maybe there isnt much relatability/growth by playing as anyone but its good if you want to "create" your own character.

Watch_Dogs: Legion's Play As Anyone mechanic worked well enough for what it was trying to achieve and that's what matters most. It has its flaws and imperfections, but that's to be expected for a first time ambitious experiment such as this, and is nothing that can't be fixed and improved upon in a potential sequel.
Ubisoft is definitely to blame for a lot of Legion's shortcomings due to poor marketing, a rushed and absolutely buggy release, a bad release day window, poor customer service, spending months playing catch up due to the mess that they created, etc.
Legion would have been great if they didn't rush it's release, gave the game the time and attention that it deserved, and put more thought and consideration into how the PAA mechanic should operate.
If it were a "normal" game, it would have likely been a weaker and more generic entry to the series.
Legion is a great game. It is the glitches that are destroying it.
They should honestly throw in Marcus from wd 2 as a premium character..that would be awesome

Yeah same, play as anyone was pretty boring after the initial wow factor. You need a main character with a proper voice actor. Thankfully you can play the main legion campaign as aiden now

I agee. The ability to choose anyone you see and then customize them the way you want makes the game feel like an RPG. I LOVE IT.

@@BabyGirlTiny I think that might have been less fun. There is something unique about taking a “politician” and dressing her/him up as a Dedsec member with tattoos and piercings and a purple mohawk.
We need a Watch Dogs Legion with a decent story and maybe a GTA 5 kind of deal where you can switch between three characters. Needless to say…those three would be the beloved fan favorites. Aiden, Marcus, and Wrench.
I'm reinstalling watchdogs more half a year later and I finally have so good post release content to play soo happy

Problem is that if you use Aiden in online, even wait the damage boost, it doesn't really help as the enemies in missions seem to have twice the health in online even with headshots which isn't very logical at all

No, DLC can be started independently from main storyline in the main menu

@@domquiceedeals9647 it would have been cool if you had to find them on the streets and when you try to recruit them, they say “finish my bloodline” before going back to what they were doing. And when you find them again after finishing bloodline, they say “congratulations, I’m in.” Alas, Ubisoft.

Bloodline as its own Entity is very good, but I wouldn’t downplay Watch Dogs Legion as a game itself, its getting better and there shouldn’t be a reason to downplay it tbh

I harp that people harp on the play as anyone mechanic, and say they wish the whole game was like bloodlines, bloodlines was really fun and the best part, still it was just the same as 100s of other 3rd person open worlds games, Legions play as anyone mechanic is very unique and could became great if they try again and fix some of the kinks.
If people keep complaining and just want the whole game to be one protagonist, then we will never get the play as anyone again.
With the season pass, you get the original watch dogs and all it's dlc.

If anyone has problems with the dlc characters not appearing in story mode, try redownloading the season pass and the dlc. It workes for me. Have fun with the game :)

Yeah i got it without knowing, i cant even change aidens beard or hair or anything like that without being in main campaign im assuming, don’t really want to spend another 25-30 pound just for that

love the DLC but im having save issues. I ran into a bug where I couldn't respawn when I died and for some reason bloodline doesnt let you save and quit to the main menu, it just loads infinitely. I had to quit my app and I lost over an hour of progress. Anybody else experiencing this?
It won’t even let me play it, it says I don’t have the season pass but I have the ultimate edition of the game I hope they fix it soon

I just finished the main campaign of Legion this morning and, as a big fan of the first 2 games, I didn't love it. I give Ubisoft points for innovating in Legion, but it just didn't pan out. It felt like it was a step back for the franchise, but it's good to see Aiden make a grand return.
This was not a step back. This game improved on many of the flaws of the previous games while having some of it's own, which is fine.
Do they explain why his character has changed so much? His character arch in wd1 was him becoming less and less human, as he became more convinced he was right and became more willing to do whatever it takes to fight crime. Inteesting it sounds like he's completely changed in legion.
Older and you need to play the dlc to know why

Yes, you can then play the main story with both characters too
The two stories are unrelated so take your pick. Would say do Bloodline first because the actual game is a chore.

Yeah, these characters can only be played in your main story with the season pass unfortunately

With all due respect to the characters - I loved Aiden, and the thrilling environment of the 1st game. Loved Jordi, Ray kenny. I believe Aiden brings certain ambiance to wherever he goes. But Wrench is a different breed. As a matter of fact the entire crew of WD2 are different breed. The storytelling is okay tbh. Less story, felt more like running errands. Only if they could assimilate both WD 1 and WD L environment.

I have a question, can you free roam in bloodline? And play as Aiden and wrench after story? Or are they removed and unplayable as soon as you beat the bloodline story (if you buy just bloodline no season pass)
