@@CaravanningwiththeCoxs Yes I caught the long term review video. Good to see the car's still doing well. I notice Ford are doing a 24 hour Kuga hybrid test drive. Although I suspect this vehicle won't have the same towing power.
@@CaravanningwiththeCoxs Thanks, I suspected as much. That's pretty dismal, and no better than my current car. Oh well, I think good old diesel power will be around for a long time yet.
Very good video review. We have just been given Ford Kuga by my wife’s parents. The Kuga has just done 5000 miles on a 2015 plate & we look forward to pulling our small caravan on our holidays. I watched your video with great interest because we wasn’t in the market for a Kuga, but well pleased when you guys produced a great review. Fortunately the Kuga we have got has a good spec ... AWD.... Auto gearbox... 180bhp... 1997cc... & Diesel... Bring on next year... lol 😂
Thanks! I'm glad i'm of use😂 they tow brilliantly. It will be missed when it goes next year🙁 Yes the 180ps engine is the one you want. Thanks again and Happy Christmas. Cheers Oliver
I’ve got a titanium 180 auto just now Getting Titanium X Line Loads of extras such as 19in wheels memory seats all leather panoramic sunroof. Keyless entry Sat Nav etc as the new Kuga comes out later in the year .. But £750 for a different white ... no way ! Also Oliver it isn’t a 4x4 it’s a AWD
Cheers Bob! I know it’s an AWD🤣 I just forget! Sounds awesome Bob! They are so capable be careful if it’s a keyless entry as they get easily stolen! So get a pouch called a defender of Amazon stops them taking it! Cheers Oliver
Nice review, as you know we have a Kuga and we love it. It’s the older model but would definitely have another one as it tows really well. cheers Martin 🙂
Cheers Mark. Yes they are very good cars! We love ours. ruclips.net/video/drEp7KaWcB0/видео.html this is the link to our updated version of this video we filmed a few weeks ago. Thanks for watching, Oliver.
Good review guys, I have the ST 180 auto AWD Kuga great car and as say pulls with no effort, we have a Bailey Unicorn Valencia which we brought from Lady Bailey last August.
Nice car guys especially in the top of range model with the extras. Remember your chamois leather cloth for May Oliver mines will need a wash by then..👍🤭 cheers rob
Cheers Rob. We nearly had a Kodiaq like yours just didn’t need the 7 seats and we wanted the 190ps awd Edition and 5 seats wasn’t an option. My dad always takes his cleaning stuff away🤣 Cheers Oliver
Caravanning with the Coxs..Hi Guys, we only wanted 5 seats aswell because there’s only 3 of us now so 7 seats would be a waste of time and you get biggest boot in the world with the 5 seater kodiaq. Ours is a 7 speed DSG 4x4... wasn’t sure about automatic now but I’m addicted especially to the DSG where u can manually select gears aswell. Our max tow weight is massive and 100kg on the ball.. I like it more than I thought I would so does Amanda who drives it as her daily car. We looked at a White AWD Kuga aswell because we had one before. Your Kuga looks the business, it’s a very smart outfit together with your new caravan 👍
Been looking for a new tow car, never considered the Ford Kuga, that's another one to add to the list. Great review Oliver and Dad. Best wishes Jon and Karen
Hi guys. Great videos. Keep it up. I really enjoy them. This vid was part of the reason I got my Platinum white Vignale!!! Quick question though. Do you have the secret compartment under the drivers seat? I had one on my Titanium X but I don’t have one on my 18 plate V 🤔
Hi Matt. Firstly great choice. Yes it’s definitely there! Have you checked out our 3yr review much more professional and we have some new opioions. Thanks for watching, Oliver.
Great cars I have a 2019 ST Line X and love it! Have you managed to get the foot swipe boot opening problem fixed? Mine has stopped working since fitting a detachable towbar also..
It’s a problem with the programming when the tow bar was fitted, I had one fitted earlier this year and they said that the 2019 model was a problem, a technician from the company that reprogram the vehicles came out and did it on site, the tailgate now works with the tow bar fitted. I would suggest you go back to the company that fitted the tow bar and request a program upgrade.
I'm confused because we just went to a caravan dealer, and they told me the Kuga 2.0 (150bhp) can't tow a Bailey Phoenix (1400kg). That really surprised me. Is it true?
No that isn’t the case. Take any car dealerships towing advice with a pinch of salt. Simply pop your new car details and caravan details in the Caravan & Motorhome Clubs towcar marcher and get a result. I also highly recommend checking out the Kuga’s and caravans Facebook group. You can ask any questions and people will help you out. I hope this helps, any questions just shout. Cheers, Oliver.
@@CaravanningwiththeCoxs I thought so. Thanks for the confirmation. Everything I've read say these cars are good for towing. I joined the CC and used the tow match facility, Very good. It also confirms the outfit is a good one. Thanks for the Facebook group tip.

Excellent video Oliver and Dad. I love towing with the Kuga too. Can't beat it. I think the Vignale is the fit to go for. Thank you.
Thanks Sandra. We love the Vignale as it has everything! Thanks Oliver
Brilliant video Oliver & Dad, very detailed & informative 👍🏻 Michele has always liked this car 😀 Keith & Michele
It’s a lovely car! Maybe Keith will buy you one Michelle🤣. Thanks for the continued support! Cheers Oliver
Thanks that's a nice review. Could not believe the towing power of this car. 2100kg is phenomenal!

The new hybrid can only tow 1200kg unfortunately and the new 190ps Kuga their isn’t enough head height in the back for me...

@@CaravanningwiththeCoxs From my research ppl say it can sometimes be fixed by moving the sensor over a bit.. I'll have to do some testing.

Hi, really sorry didn’t see this before. The Kuga towed our twin axle Bailey 1650kg caravan previously really well plenty of power and very stable.
is it in 4 wheel drive all the time or does it sometimes run in 2wd (front) and then go into 4 wheel drive when it needs the power?
Lovely
Thank you. Are you thinking of buying one?
Caravanning with the Coxs yes looking.
