Emily, this "American Tune" was released on January 26, 1970 and a lot of us were worried about our America as she was being battered by internal and external forces and we questioned, would she be strong enough withstand the storm. Lucky for us, this experiment in Democracy did hold up and quickly moved to a safe harbor. For me, "Bridge over Troubled Water" has much more meaning today regarding our beloved constitution, Bill of Rights and the American way where anyone can strive to reach their dreams. I hope, as in 1970, the American people will stay united, stay strong and withstand the storm in these trying times. My hope is America and 330 Americans will in fact once again reach safe harbor. I enjoy your singing and your selection of songs, stay well.

What a beautiful voice and rendition of this song. This song was played 52 years ago at our wedding. My wife passed away last year do due complications after surgery. Bridge Over Troubled Water was "our" song. Listing to the words and your beautiful voice brought both sad and happy tears as I listened. Bless you... 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I'll never forget the first time I heard this song. It was early February of 1970, just a couple months before I graduated from high school. It was like our theme song of the times. And as it turned out, it was the #1 song of 1970. Art would be proud of you Emily. Next to his version, you're a close second. You have a God given talent. What a beautiful voice He gave you. You are truly Blessed.

Could possibly be the greatest song ever written, and if ever there was a song that seems to have been given straight from a higher power this would be one. This is a beautiful rendition, like any great artist Emily is making the music seem fresh again. Last night I listened to her version of "Sometimes When We Touch", a song I've never been a huge fan of, but now realize is practically a musical masterpiece with some incredibly intelligent and deeply personal lyrics, highly recommended.

What can I say? You've just made this usually cynical 47 year old man well up with tears. Beautiful performance Emily. I've always had a soft spot for this song and I'm a fan of lots of different genres of music from old blues , soul and jazz to reggae to folk to heavy metal and punk and all manner of other stuff in between. You have an amazing talent, especially for your age. I can see a bright future for you in music. This is by no means an easy song for anyone else to do it real justice, but you've certainly managed to capture the minimal, yet powerful essence of it wonderfully. Well done!
