"You Raise Me Up" was composed by Rolf Løvland and written by Brendan Graham. It was first recorded by Secret Garden, in collaboration with Brian Kennedy. Although the original version was not a major hit, the song has since been recorded by many other great artists, most notably American singer Josh Groban.
