Final verdict on the new cards (that I used): Cyanos is okay. She became much more useful after I cut Accesscode and added Avarice. You don't ever want to start with this card, but she is very useful for clearing boards with your Link 2s. Engage Zero is a lot better than I thought it would be. Very useful card. The board wipe came up many times. Camellia is obviously amazing.
crazy that you are cutting accesscode for engage 0( a card that probably comes up once per season) when every single deck is running sp thus making accesscode easier to summon than ever
@@SSA-X002 It could be a difference in playstyle, but I summon Engage Zero a lot more than I summoned Accesscode. I haven't really encountered a situation where I thought "I wish I had Accesscode here" yet. I could see it happening against Cyberse decks, and I'll probably lose eventually by not having it, but it's probably okay to take that risk for now Either way, I wouldn't cut Engage Zero even if I put Accesscode back in and I've been trying Amblowhale as well, which I've grown to prefer in the Link-4 slot for the current meta
How many 10er pulls for the alt Kagari did you try? Got my first after 6k gems. The alts will be gone in a few days, I managed to pull 2 alt Kagari and 3 alt Engage, of which 2 were standard foils. An alt Kagari in royal would have been awesome, but even trying to get a non craftable UR royal is just madness. I wish you could dismantle royals to upgrade the cards you want to foil or royal. I always pull those damned Mathmech cards. I had like every UR and SR of them at least once in royal... Dusted every single one of them
I think I did around 200 pulls total and I got 3 of each, but no royal alts unfortunately. I only got one regular foil Engage, which isn't too bad. It's unfortunate you can't upgrade cards to royal like you can in games like Shadowverse. And the Mathmech situation is the same for me. I think I could have the entire Mathmech portion of the deck in royal by now if I didn't always instantly dismantle them, but I despise that deck lol
@@auctaway I've seen people wasting 10k gems and they didn't get one single alt. The pull rates for featured cards are just terrible. Half of the pulls are random junk, the other half is often mixed with stuff you don't want. By having two archetypes in a special pack is just an evil design choice, even more if you look at the price for gems. I wished Konami wouldn't go full on whale hunt and focus on making the best possible card simulator for everyone instead. This game could be so much better, if they would change some minor aspects. Having an option for best of 3, boosters with just one archetype, free mode, where every card can be used, gems are only for cosmetical stuff and permanent alternative formats with separate rankings and banlists. If they did this, this game would explode in popularity.
@@oldboykenji I'm personally also not a fan of the regular rank system since it's repetitive and rarely indicative of skill. The new ELO thing is nice, but you shouldn't have to play through the current rating system to get to it. It will seem like such a chore every month. People are higher ELO will wind up fighting each other anyway. I also wish they would balance a bit better and not having to wait for a deck's cards to be out of the shop for at least a month before they decide to hit something. Rescue-ACE and Fire King escaping balance changes despite dominating the Duelist Cup is so disappointing.

Also, there's no world where I can just pass and not die to that board, so the only possible play is to pass on Eagle Booster with 3 spells in grave. Shark Cannon in hand is needed in case he ends on Sanctifire, and the only thing beating his followup is at least 2 Engages. What I did was the only play that doesn't lose on the spot
@@auctaway Well that's true. Also it's interessting to see you use Eagle Booster so efficiently. I follow some other Striker players and you're the only one playing it. Funnily, I also played it when I started with the deck but people told me to remove it. (Same with Hamp) I'm pretty satisfied with my list right now but I do think about trying Eagle Booster again.
It's good enough if you want to just have fun with a deck you like in Master Duel, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for something more. Being one of the control options that does not play well into Maxx "C" and has very little presence isn't that great in the modern game. It is by no means bad, but there's nothing really favorable about it in MD aside from being able to easily beat all the people on stun decks, Horus variants, Kashtira, and so on. You'll have a rough time against FIRE variants, Purrely, and so on if you don't get a good opener. My goal isn't really to make the deck seem good with these videos, but rather to archive the gameplay so I can check back later on stuff I found interesting.
@@kayne_vk Board breakers are way better into Rescue-ACE and all the rogue decks in MD. Lots of hand traps is good into the other stuff. This is mainly a preference and playstyle thing, but I would suggest board breakers
Raye can't be a Royal, it's only possible for SR and UR cards. Unfortunately, I honestly don't keep track for the ones I do have. I spend all my credits instantly trying to get more. I've done dailies most days since release and almost all my gems to towards rolling in the Striker pack as well.

What is the point of avarice? I dueled vs a sky striker player in rating duel and he also used it. Is this a new tech (or a comeback of it) in SS community?
It used to be much more common when Kagari was at 1 and 2. Now the extra deck space is really tight and you often use Camellia, Azalea, Zeke, and S:P all in the same turn if you're using Cyanos and really trying to break a board. Since you can't run more copies of those cards, Avarice is super useful so you can play a bit freely on the later turns.

That first Rescue Ace player made sooooo many und so obviously stupid missplays, I cannot tell if Sky Striker is underrated or not
It's good enough if you want to just have fun with a deck you like in Master Duel, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for something more. Being one of the control options that does not play well into Maxx "C" and has very little presence isn't that great in the modern game. It is by no means bad, but there's nothing really favorable about it in MD aside from being able to easily beat all the people on stun decks, Horus variants, Kashtira, and so on. You'll have a rough time against FIRE variants, Purrely, and so on if you don't get a good opener.
My goal isn't really to make the deck seem good with these videos, but rather to archive the gameplay so I can check back later on stuff I found interesting.
