This is amazing. The choir sounds despairing and beautiful here. You should do more Paper Mario 64 pieces because this game has probably the greatest soundtrack of any Mario game ever made.
I suggested Cleffernotes to do this because he's been doing Paper Mario remixes, and here you went and did it instead! I tell you, you two are meant for each other. And this sounds absolutely amazing. It reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's soundtrack (especially the video game one) with just a healthy touch of Donkey Kong 64.

Only knew this from the " *Newer* Super Mario Bros Wii " hack, if you haven't by the way, give it a shot! It's the *best* NSMBWii hack out there! The only thing you need to play that is the real game (which literally everyone has ^^) and a homebrew-enabled Wii! =P And @The Synthetic Orchestra: You did an awesome job as always! :D
Ooh, excellent. How about something from Super Paper Mario, since it doesn't seem to be mentioned much here? There's some good songs in that soundtrack.
Probably the fact that the RPG elements still play a role. Also after the second level none of the levels are bad. They are all quality parts of the adventure. Super Paper Mario is the same way, but the RPG elements aren't there. Loses game play value for me but it is still good. Also the partners are better in TTYD.
